You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Ok, lets tax the shit out of the rich bastards and greedy corporations.
Course, they already collectively pay over half the taxes paid in the country.
What do you think, just increase all the rates by half?

Course, increasing rates for those greedy fat cat corporations will be more of a challenge; have to get rid of all the tax credits and deductions that have snuck into the tax code cause congress has been doing a bit of social engineering. But where there's a will .........

Anyway, so what do you say, make the rates 15%, 18%, 33%, 36%, 48%, 53%, 56%? Or shall we just dump it all on the fuckers making over $518,400 to, what? 75%, 80%, even 90% ?

LOL! Kind of puts a while in your complaints that they pay half the taxes! I don't need to show you anything because we all know there are more and more huge corporations that don't pay any taxes at all, and there are some that even get more money back from the government, of should I say US!

The Master of Facts has posted these facts before. :)

The Master tires of trying to push facts into closed and narrow minds. :bored:

From 1946 (when the Second World War was over) to the last year Jimmy Carter was president in 1980, the national debt as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) declined from 118% to 32%. It declined during the wars in Korea and Vietnam. During his time the top tax rate was sometimes as high as 92%, and never got below 70%.

After twelve years of Republican tax cuts for the rich the national debt as a percentage of GDP rose to 62%, despite Reagan's promise to balance the budget by 1983. Under the presidency of Bill Clinton the national debt as a percentage of GDP declined to 55%.

Because of tax cuts for the rich made by George the Lesser and Trump the national debt as a percentage of GDP reached 129% by the time Trump left office in 2020, despite Trump's promise to pay off the national debt in eight years.

Ah. The old "despicables do better with the budget than deplorables" thingy.
Can't dodge the damage Obama did, no matter how hard you try. Trump added his, and biden, well, biden is going to win the grand prize for fucking up the debt.
And in fairness, trump didn't get 8 years, did he?

But, see, @Distant Lover we've moved on from the blame game. The issue now is how to fix it.
      Carry on.

Hmp...typical leftist placing an eyeball on the surface only....not even surprising.

The National debt skyrocketed when Home loans became toxic, because of the federal fucking government, remember, Barney Frank didn't see a problem?, then bam....the entire world falls apart.

Lower taxes create jobs in the private sector, it has been proven time and time again.

It also creates more revenue for the Federal, State and local Governments, also been proven time and time again.

Higher taxation creates an environment of government dependency, not at all what this Nation was intended to be.

A $4 TRILLION annual federal budget is asinine...and now Crime Boss Biden and the Ho (half cracker 3.0) Administration is looking at a $6 TRILLION budget...what sense does that make?

As for the rest of your statement...blah...blah...blah.

Fuck the hack fuck, hack fucks brain cells are conglomeration of play-doh and peanut butter anymore.

1....Eliminate all tax deductions and credits to any mega-corp that happens to fall into the politicalized format of the infamous ''too big to fail''.

2...Give everyone the opportunity to join in on the fun, I dont care if it's as small as $100 a year......no refunds for 10 years.

3....Cut all federal fucking government work forces by 15%..minus the armed forces.

4....Eliminate over bearing federal fucking government Regulations....that alone will unleash the economy, brings back the real economic revenue producers from overseas.

5....Elect responsible candidates that actually defend the U.S. Constitution as it was written and intended.

6....I see benefits to some Global Aid...not all of it....cut that Aid by 75%.. we fund our enemies.

    7....eh....gotta go for now...

    And the urgency of addressing the debt increases dramatically when inflation raises it's ugly head;
    upload_2021-6-11_8-2-36.png

Yellen says it's just temporary, you know, what with the recovery and all, and they aren't concerned. Course they aren't concerned, what's to be concerned about? 5% inflation, like we haven't seen in a decade? With $28 TRILLION in debt, headed for $36 TRILLION in debt by year's end?
Nope. Nothing to see here, move along.

Treasonous conservative/Republicans love to scream about the deficit and debt but then not only don't want the wealthy to be taxed they don't even want them to be forced actually pay their taxes. Even though there's a trillion dollars right there.

IRS chief says $1 trillion in taxes goes uncollected every year

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. government is losing some $1 trillion in unpaid taxes every year and needs more and consistent Internal Revenue Service funding to go after tax cheats, IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig said on Tuesday.

      When people read that $1 TRILLION IN TAXES GOES UNCOLLECTED EVERY YEAR they scoot right over this part;
"The tax gap represents underreported income, underpayment or nonpayment of taxes owed and exaggeration of claimed tax breaks ...."
As much as half of that $1 TRILLION is underreported income. It's based on an IRS math model that suggests most of it is unreported tips, casual labor, etc. So, only an estimate based on IRS math models.

All of this has become a despicable talking point because Biden's $6 TRILLION budget includes a boost to the IRS budget by $1.3 billion, or 10.4% over current levels.

Course, the IRS still pays bonuses to IRS employees who are suspended for misconduct, and they still have those expensive junkets to places like Las Vegas, but hey, bigger budget, more money and power for the IRS big shots, eh?

Another simplistic joke used as talking points from various hack fuck sources.

The new IRS chief has just shown his desire for Socialism in this article.

Folks using the current tax code to ''evade taxes'' is not legally evading taxation, using ''loopholes'' designed in the current tax code is what this current IRS Tax Chief used for himself on his own personal tax reporting records.

Be damned folks build wealth without the federal fucking government getting their talons on it to distribute to the less fortunate in this country.

This entire article is a joke, based on assumptions and Communist/Socialist policies.

There is no room for assumptions and Communist/Socialist policy pushing to address the ''systematic anti-constitutional'' spending problem that this Nation has elected it to fall upon.

    QUESTION;

Whats the leftists opinion on eliminating tax deductions/credits for those mega-corps that have adopted a 'monopoly' process acquiring smaller business's?

I dont expect an answer that actually address's the question...however I do hold hope.

Hey Stumbler, who are these "wealthy tax cheats", anyway?

Sick Hillary Forgot These 5 Friends of Hers Didn't Pay Taxes (thepoliticalinsider.com)
Even 5 years ago, despicables were prominent in the tax cheats hall of fame.

    13 infamous tax cheaters (usatoday.com)
And especially Jesse Jackson, remember he not only cheated on his taxes, he violated campaign funding laws to do it.
    Jesse Jackson Jr.
The former Representative (D–IL) pled guilty on Feb. 20, 2013 for fraudulently obtaining $750,000 of funds from his election campaign, and his wife, Sandra Jackson, pled guilty to one count of tax fraud for covering up the receipt of those funds from 2006 to 2011. Jesse was sentenced to 30 months in prison, while his wife was sentenced to one year.

Robin Smith: Parade of Tax Cheats Just Happens to Be Led by Democrats — The Patriot Post
Now, to really hit the top 10 of tax cheats, you just gotta be a despicable; Not just the current top 10, but going back for decades.
“Reverend” Al Sharpton happens to owe more than $4.5 million in state and federal tax liens.
MSNBC talkinghead Melissa Harris-Perry remembered best as the Tampon-earring-wearing angry female who showed her support of the urine-and-feces-throwing pro-abortion crowd in 2013. We can now add the moniker “tax cheat” to her résumé. In April of this year, the IRS filed a $70,000 tax lien.
Leading the parade of tax cheats is George Soros, whose philosophy is “from each according to his ability to each according to his need” — kept from the taxman almost $7 billion of his “fair share.” Legal? Probably. Hypocritical? Definitely. Soros, Democrats and leftist TV talkingheads screech for more government spending with law-abiding, average workers footing the bill.

And Obama aides as of last year owed a collective $900,000 in back taxes.

So, here's a question for all you law abiding despicables out there; do you really think IF congress gives biden/harris their IRS boost, that any despicables on the inside of the beltway are going to be forced to pay their back taxes? Pay their fair share?

Shooter thinks not. At most, the IRS will go after all those food service people for unreported tips. If you think the likes of Sharpton, or Soros or Nancy Antoinette will end up paying more taxes, think again. That just isn't the way it works in this administration.

I agree...any individual ($150K)or married couple(250K) OF TAXABLE INCOME...will be those that feel the full weight of the IRS.

Anyone that is above that, well, they have a say in what is to be taxed and not taxed.

    This is correct.
Its why we need a president that will not sign a budget that isn't balanced.
Its why we need congress to not pass any new spending plans without a funding process for it in place.
Its why we need to tell congress and the government that until the debt is being paid off NO NEW SPENDING.

50% of Americans pay no tax is untrue. 50% of Americans pay no federal income tax is untrue.
The number touted for last ten years has been 47%, it is now 43%.
    15% retirees, 15% children, 6% unemployed.
Now minus stay at home Moms, people that work one year and not another, working poor that get enough tax credits to not pay.
The list goes on but you know this. The implication that half of all Americans are on the government tit is just bullshit.

I would just like to interject here Suzy.
I run a SME and I pay tax and my staff pay tax and we pay VAT and then we pay 28% Provisional corporate Tax. I have no idea how the f..kers work it out but sometimes I swear it's more money than we have profited in that period and there is no way we can afford it. Which leads to months of fighting until we get an audit and a reduction. The problem with the whole system is once you've worked it out we are paying close to 80% in our revenue to the government. There is no way to expand or grow, education staff, bring in new better machines even just replace out dated computer systems and silly stuff. I'm all for corporations doing what they can to pay less because it means the cost of our finished goods is less so our turn overs and market shares will grow meaning more jobs created and more money spent with our regional suppliers.

No the big guys are probably skimping on a few tax's but if the government did a little constructive work on the labour markets and the tax structures it would be a lot easier to get the money back into the country and out of China and surrounding low wage countries.

For f..k sakes who voted for a guy who can barely string a sentence together and stumbles when he walks. It's got a lot of problems, but I'd say roughly 73% of the population of US citizens wouldn't last a week in most other countries.

Also did you know that 86% of all percentages are made up on the spot?

    Crazy, I know.

@1ToyMaker @ace's n 8's firstly, Toi, No one pays any 80% in taxes. Your comments and replies are all completely untrue. As far as Africa goes, a side from South Africa, over half of the countries there have a higher standard of living then we do. And the major cities in South Africa are beautiful and quite safe.

United States ranks in the 50s out of 150 some countries as far as worst violence. meaning, There’s around 100 come countries that are safer than here. The only Democrat stay in the top 10 of violent crime states in America is New Mexico which is a complete cluster fuck from the ground up. It has nothing to do with parties. It’s about the Spanish.

Well for starters, let's just say, a lot of people are a bit too... sensitive? Most other countries think it's funny and weird that our emotions are on display 24/7. We walk around pretending to be happy and smiling all the time (a lot of people anyway) in cultures like Russia, if you're walking around smiling all the time your thought to be mentally handicapped or you're up to something, like you can't be trusted. Manners in general, like small talk with your local service industry people (not that many have manners when dealing with your service industry workers) is not normal, as well as the "How are you today" and the "please" and "thank you" it's seen as unnecessary.

Cultural differences aside many places around the world are just not safe. Violence, robberies, militias, ACTUAL DICTATORS! Real life murderous presidents that if you speak out against them or share a different opinion, will jail or even just flat out kill you. Not even mentioning the militaries and police that serve under these tyrants that will shoot you in the street for just looking at them wrong.

China, Russia, multiple places in south America (go to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and end up in the wrong place, you can't even leave your things on the beach go down to the water and cool off for two whole minutes without having everything stolen)
    Try Africa? The Middle East?

The life of the average US citizen is not nearly as bad as many make it out to be when you educate yourself, travel, and get to know others who come from other walks of life.

Taxes are everywhere, not just in the States. Do I fully agree with where/how they are spent? No, not all the time. Do I think that our entire political system should be overhauled and renovated for a more modern time. Yes, but unfortunately, the dinosaurs that are still alive and run the show make far too much profit off the blood, sweat, and tears of the people they have sworn to protect and help prosper.
If they did that, if they'd think beyond their piggy banks; they'd have no more power, no more money, no more control.

People might just stop hating each other over who they voted for, what god they believe in, and what color their skin is.

People might just help one and other out if we didn't have to run this rat race to the finish line.

All we ever are guaranteed in life is Death.
    Oh...and taxes.
