This should be good. Mark Meadows was Trump's Chief of Staff and Cassidy Hutchinson was his aide. So she is just about as deep inside the White House as you can get.

Former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson will be the star witness at a surprise House Select Committee hearing on Tuesday, and Politico's Ryan Lizza and Eugene Daniels report that she's already dropped a number of shock revelations about former President Donald Trump's efforts to illegally stay in power.

While it's not known what new information Hutchinson will be giving at Tuesday's hearing, her past testimony has already revealed a number of explosive stories about Trump and other White House officials' actions in the days leading up to the January 6th riots at the United States Capitol.

Among other things, Hutchison has revealed that multiple Republican lawmakers sought preemptive pardons for their roles in helping Trump stay in power; that Meadows burned documents in his office shortly after having a meeting with Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), who was a key congressional ally in the efforts to block certification of the 2020 election; that Meadows said Trump believed Vice President Mike Pence deserved to be hanged; that White House counsel Pat Cipollone informed the Trump White House that their plan to use "alternate" electors was flatly illegal; and that Trump stopped talking about invoking martial law because "it became clear that there would be mass resignations, including lawyers in the White House Counsel's Office."

Given all this, expectations for Hutchinson's testimony are high in terms of what new information she might reveal.

Opening with Cassidy Hutchinson's impressive resume of working for Republicans and how she because Mark Meadows' aide. And also her proximity to Trump in the White House office because she was very close to all the action.

 

First up for Questioning Rep Liz Cheney.

Meeting with Giuliani and Meadows on January 2nd. She walked Giuliani to his car. He was very excited saying they were going to the Capitol on January 6th and suggested she talk to Meadows about it. Hutchinson did talk to Meadows about it and he said "there's a lot going on and January 6th could be really really bad."

 

Hutchinson links the plans for January 6th and the Pound Boys and all the warnings about the rally turning violent.

And now all the weapons that were confiscated from people trying to get into the rally but could not get past the metal detectors. So they stopped going through it. Especially the ones carrying guns. And this is backed up with radio traffic between Capitol police as well as alerting the Secret Service

Was Trump informed of people planning to attend his rally carrying weapons? Yes.

 

President was furious He wanted everyone to come in weapons or not.

Off stage Trump and family members complain about not everyone being allowed into the rally. I don't fucking care about people with weapons. They are not here to hurt me. Trump said.

 

Off the record presidential movement. Trump did plan to march to the Capitol.

White House Counsel tells Trump marching to the Capitol would be illegal. Morning of the rally Cipollone tells Hutchinson make sure movement to the Capitol does not happen.

 

Questioning turns to AG Bill Barr saying there's no election fraud. Trump pounding table, Barr offering to resign. Trump yelling accepted.

 

Trump the Secret Service, national security, and White House aides knew days in advance people were coming to the rally with weapons and did not want them screened because they were not coming to hurt him.

 

Back from recess Cheney continues. Stone photographed with multiple members of the Oath Keepers 0n January 5th and 6th some of which are charged with seditious conspiracy. Did Meadows call Stone? Yes.

Hutchinson describes the frustration she felt about the rally turning violent but being ignored by Meadows.

Describes the domestic terrorists trying to breach the Capitol. Cipollone comes charging down the hall yelling at Meadows the president has to do something because the Capitol is being breached. Meadows tells him Trump is watching but he doesn't want to do anything. "People are going to die and the blood will be on your fucking hands" Cipollone tells Meadows.

 

Cipollone again demands Trump do something to stop the violence but he refuses.


A draft statement calling the breach of the Capitol illegal is presented to Trump but again he refuses to make the statement/

Fox hosts calling and texting also demanding Trump tell his supporters to leave the Capitol but he still refuses.

Ivanka Trump also begging Trump to send his supporters home.

 

Hutchinson describes how the efforts to remove Trump with the 25th amendment grew inside the White House and could actually happen. Advisors including Fox News hosts keep saying Trump has to do more to condemn the violence or he will be removed from office.

 

Hutchinson is only in her early 20's and yet exploded all the lies Trump and his treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans were telling before during and after January 6th.

They all knew it was a lie and planed the insurrection and attempted coup anyway.

In a surprise hearing of the House Jan. 6 committee, lawmakers played police radio transmissions identifying weapons — including AR-15s — that supporters of former President Donald Trump had with them on Jan. 6, 2021, the day of Trump’s rally and the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

In Tuesday’s hearing, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) — vice chair of the House select committee investigating the Capitol attack — played police transmissions that described people carrying firearms near the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., where Trump held his rally the morning of Jan. 6.

“Three men walking down the street in fatigues carrying AR-15s... at 14th and Independence,” a voice says in one transmission.

“White male... stock of an AR-15,” someone can be heard saying in another recording. “Green fatigues... Glock-style pistols in their waistband.”

“Elevated threat in the trees... American flag face mask... weapon on the right-side hip,” a third transmission says.

Cheney noted that among the supporters who chose to pass through metal detectors so they could get closer to Trump, security screened weapons and equipment including pepper spray, knives, batons and gas masks. Several thousand more people did not go through metal detectors and watched from the nearby Washington Monument lawn.

The committee also showed a report sent by Secret Service at 11 a.m. that day warning of a man with a rifle near the Ellipse, where Trump was speaking.

In her surprise testimony Tuesday, Cassidy Hutchinson, a top aide to Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows, said that Tony Ornato ― who oversaw Secret Service movements ― said he told Trump there were people armed with weapons attending his rally on Jan. 6.

In videotaped testimony, Hutchinson recalled a meeting around 10 a.m. on Jan. 6 with Meadows and Ornato. At that meeting, she said, Ornato described people carrying knives, pistols, rifles, bear spray, body armor, spears and flagpoles. “Mark said, have you talked to the president?” Hutchinson said in her video testimony. “And Tony said yes.”

Later in her video testimony, Hutchinson said that Trump was angry about the crowd size. He wanted more people in the area where he was speaking, and he blamed the metal detectors, she said.

“I don’t f-ing care that they have weapons,” Trump said, per Hutchinson. “They’re not here to hurt me ... Take the f-ing mags away... Let my people in, they can march to the Capitol from here.”

Last year, Trump told Fox News that “there were no guns whatsoever” in the crowd on Jan. 6.

An armed mob of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol that day as lawmakers gathered to certify the 2020 presidential election, which Joe Biden won. Before the riot, Trump incited the crowd at his nearby rally by falsely claiming the election had been stolen. Five people died in the ensuing mayhem and its aftermath, including a U.S. Capitol Police officer.
