I am a Nordic Gentile. I do not mind being called a racist. The fear of being called a racist suppresses the dialogue on race President Clinton called for, and which we need to have. It needs to be an honest dialogue with no sanctions against the telling of facts and opinions. If I am a racist I am one who admires Jews and who usually prefers Orientals to whites. Orientals tend to be more intelligent than whites. They have lower rates of crime and illegitimacy. Orientals deserve to be called "the model minority."

I supported the civil rights movement as a child, a teenager, and a young adult. I have since become disappointed with the black response to the opportunities that have been opened to them. I see that response as evidence that there is often wisdom in tradition.
