Black people but how many are truly black a lot of them are mixed race .So would have a door person saying so you can't come in your only 60% black ?

 

Thats because white people largely have anywhere they go reserved for them already. That's just how society has always been. Even traveling to countries where white is the minority, I've seen locals bend over backwards to accommodate a white traveler in a way I've never seen them treat their own.
I'll go ahead and assume it's rare that you've ever had to regularly walk into a space and feel uncomfortable because you're "the only one". That's the experience of students of color at predominantly white institutions.

 

A young black man who walks in a white neighborhood after dark will have his feelings hurt. As he walks down the sidewalk people will cross the street to avoid his approach. People will lock the doors of their cars and roll up the windows of their cars. Children will be told to stop playing in the front yard, and to come inside.

Nevertheless, that young black man will not be physically hurt. He will be safer than he would be walking in a black neighborhood after dark. This is what Jesse Jackson has said about that:

And how do you not see how detrimental it is to a persons psyche to constantly be seen as a potential aggressor simply for existing in your God given skin color? The way you seem to be so flippant in acknowledging the clear prejudice that still exists is telling. Imagine having to have that talk with your child who isn't even old enough to drive yet, but they need to know how to handle themselves if ever approached by police with their white friends, because they may not get treated the same.

Once I was in a situation comparable to the situation comparable to the one Trayvon Martin was in. One evening at about 9:00 pm I was riding my bicycle past an office building where I had earlier worked as a security guard. Because I am retrospective, I rode my bicycle to the parking lot behind the building, and experienced the memories of working there. Two security guards came out to look at me. I got off of my bicycle, and walked with it over to talk to the guards. "Excuse me," I began. "Am I trespassing?"

When I was told that I was I apologized, explained why I was there, and said I would leave immediately. We had a brief, friendly conversation, and I left. That is the way a civilized man behaves in a situation like that.

Trayvon Martin was staying in the gated community George Zimmerman was guarding with his father, after being expelled from school. (A civilized teenager would not have been expelled from school, but that is another topic.) When he realized that George Zimmerman was following him he felt "dissed" to he attacked Zimmerman from behind, threw him on the ground, and began hitting him in the face. The following photos of Zimmerman, taken immediately after he was arrested, demonstrate that that is what happened:

 

The mainstream media had access to those photographs. Instead they publicized the following photograph of George Zimmerman in an obvious attempt to slant opinion against him:



The mainstream media also had access to recent photos of Trayvon Martin blowing smoke at the camera, and giving obscene or gang related signals at the camera. Instead they choose a smiling, innocent looking photo of a much younger Trayvon Martin.

 

A civilized teenager, like me at that age, would have walked over to George Zimmerman, identified himself, explained that he was staying with his father, who lived in the gated community. He would have given his father's address, and invited Zimmerman to walk over with him to that address, to be introduced to his father.
