    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    When someone sends me a private message including a picture I can see the picture but I can't download it. If I click and select download I just get a message 'Failed to download'.

    Is that a problem with my phone? Or is it a bug in the system? Or is it a feature, deliberate?

    OK thanks. I can see that option when I upload a pic. Next dumb question. When I send a message I don't get the option to include a pic from my gallery. The only option is to upload from my computer. So how do I include a pic (one that's not public in the gallery)?

    Here's another question about photos. On many profiles it indicates how many pics there are and how many albums. But when I click on photos I often see that even though they are shown to have hundreds , the message reads " no photos have been uploaded " What's the explanation please.

      Either they have settings that only let certain people see them or they have been deleted. When you delete a pic, the number doesn’t go down.

    Thanks Cupcake ( if I may be so familiar !) Presumably then, your 299 photos haven't been deleted but are for a selected audience ? Since I currently have no photos apart from the avatar, I haven't seen an option to keep them private. Must be hard work deciding who to put on the A list !

      None are public but some should be seen by people that follow me and all by people I follow. I recently messed up the settings and haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet. There really aren’t that many though because some have been deleted. Still there are a lot. I fix it eventually. Oh and you’re welcome.

    I’m gonna assume that it has nothing to do with the struggle I was having and is completely irrelevant to what my question was.
    I figured out what I was doing wrong, for some reason I thought that when it said 6 post that I had to post at least six pictures of myself to be able to send pm’s [dont ask me why I thought that this is still very new to me] I must of mixed up the verification post with the pm post somehow. It was literally telling me to do 6 separate post on any forum
    I just feel dumb, sorry Stanley

    I noticed that there is no way to delete old posts here. Or to remove your account. The more I looked into it the more it seemed like you cant do it at all. Is that the case?

    I know it should be obvious, and it may be writted somewhere that I just couldn't find, but there should really be something somewhere informaing that you can't even post on the forums until an admin activates your account. I didn't realize this when I made the account, and I was lamenting that you need to post in 6 places to get the right to log in to the stories site and yet you can't even post here. Then the next day I could so I can only assume that it was a matter of my account being activated.
    Anyway /end rant

The "stickeys" contain worlds of wisdom re: how to post & what is required & other stuff so you're in the right place; some of them are even funny. But, they're getting quite long; I've been here a few years & haven't read through most of them all the way yet. We'll see you out in the forums.

      You’ll be able to post only 5 times a day till you have done 16 ,then you’ll be let loose properly on here lol .Once you done 6 your access to private messages will come open a little while after ,meaning people can message you and you them .It shows on the profile information as send a private message .
