Love us some sanctuary cities until we dont.

    January 26, 2017

The mayor of San Jose, Sam Liccardo.... said that nothing about the president's executive order will change how San Jose cops police the city. "The San Jose Police Department’s longstanding policies relating to immigration enforcement are critical to keeping our community safe," he said. "Our police officers must focus their scarce time responding to and investigating violent, predatory and other high-priority crimes – not the enforcement of federal tax laws, federal securities laws, or federal immigration laws."

Trump knows little about the Constitution. During the campaign of 2016 a campaign aid tried to explain the Constitution to Trump. Trump's eyes glazed over, indicating a lack of understanding and interest in the topic. As president Trump had difficulty reading part of the Constitution. He complained that it was like another language.

If Negroes get that money they will complain that it is not enough, quickly spend the money on bling, and demand more. While this is going on they will be having a lot of black ghetto riots chanting, "No justice. No peace."

During the "peaceful protests" that followed the death of George Floyd two billion dollars of damage were caused by black ghetto riots.

I agree...Trump doesn't know much about the Constitution, just like 90% of the members of Congress and the liberal members of SCOTUS.

That was something that had me a bit concerned when I cast my vote in '16, then I soon realized..it dont matter none, POTUS doesn't legislate, the Executive only enforces.

So, in short, your point is moot.

    It wont happen.

    What could go wrong here....

Washington State county approves $12B budget for restitution program

Washington State’s most populated county is establishing new controversial programs to address its more than 7,000 court cases, which await action. The initiative includes using non-profit community groups to decide the fate of offenders rather than a judge.

In response to many crime cases stemming from Black Lives Matter and social justice riots earlier this year, the left leaning city council recently unanimously voted to give criminals a massive hall pass.

“If we can send that person, instead, to a community accountability group who will define what they think accountability means,” stated Dan Satterberg, prosecutor for King County.

The program will be available to those the county constitutes as first time, non-violent criminals. This will allow alleged felons to bypass facing a judge and skip jail time.

Furthermore, the community-based programs were granted $6 million to start. This money would have gone to the sheriffs department, which took a massive pay-cut this year. The council justified the latest program by claiming jails are expensive to operate.

“Locking people up is very costly as well and it’s not affirmative for peoples lives,” said Jeanne Kohl-Welles, King County Council budget chair. “But we also need to make sure we protect the public, so this is hard…it’s not going to be easy.”

Meanwhile, crime victims in King County will be paid restitution through a public fund created with tax dollars instead of money from the criminal. The council said the move is justified as a public restitution fund will assist victims, also noting it can take months or even years for the offender to go to court and pay the fee.

One self-named activist, public prosecutor Dan Satterberg, believes taxpayers will actually save money because they won’t have to pay for future court cases linked to the criminals. However, Seattle residents have accused Satterberg of giving criminals a hall pass to make his job easier and argue the programs allow him to ignore his responsibilities.

Meanwhile, others in the community worry the experimental programs will dramatically increase crime in Seattle.

      Classic despicable attitude;
      First, no responsibility for actions.
Second, government will pay for shit.
Third, government will decide who gets the shit.
Fourth, lie. The public is too fucking stupid to realize we're selling them a sack of shit.

More division being created in America

Michael Eric Dyson compares critics of defunding police to White Americans who opposed abolishing slavery
House Democrats blamed slogan for seat losses in 2020 election

Liberal commentator Michael Eric Dyson likened Americans who oppose defunding the police to Whites who opposed abolishing slavery on Tuesday.

"I know some people have been outraged by the use of abolish the police," he said on "The View." "Guess what? In the 1850s many White Americans were against abolishing slavery. So that the very word ‘abolition’ has caused some people problems, it has been a longstanding tradition in America."

Hmmm... I guess Obama is just like those White Supremacists!
    Who knew?

Former President Barack Obama suggested in a new interview that “defund the police” was little more than a “snappy slogan” that polarized many Americans and was ineffectual at producing broader reforms to the criminal justice system in the United States.

In an interview that aired Wednesday on Snapchat’s “Good Luck America,” Obama likened young activists to shoe companies marketing sneakers or musicians promoting their records, arguing that such efforts to galvanize commercial support are “no different in terms of ideas.”

“If you believe, as I do, that we should be able to reform the criminal justice system so that it’s not biased and treats everybody fairly, I guess you can use a snappy slogan, like ‘defund the police.’ But, you know, you lost a big audience the minute you say it, which makes it a lot less likely that you’re actually going to get the changes you want done,” Obama said.

latest prominent Democratic leader to express disapproval of the politically divisive phrase, which gained greater recognition over the summer amid nationwide protests against racial injustice and police brutality. Supporters of defunding the police have called for taxpayer dollars to be redirected away from law enforcement and toward mental health services and other social safety net resources."

FIFTEEN Sheriffs descend on Mac's Public House, the Staten Island bar that declared itself an 'Autonomous Zone' in order to stay open - skirting the 'rules' by not charging customers. Fifteen - for a peaceful bar owner? Really?
    PS: There was Zero resistance.

They slapped them with $50,000 dollars in fines and took the owner, who was with his attorney, remained polite and civil, away in handcuffs.
This, while NYC enjoys the biggest spike in homicides and police officer retirements in many many years.

This is why rents are coming down in the Big Apple - people are moving out in droves (guess that's one of the 'unforeseen' consequences of forcing people to work remotely - "Hey! I don't actually have to pay a fortune to live in this shithole that De Blasio created!"

Later, NYC - I hope you survive this bullshit.

The message: "Knuckle under and obey, or we will ruin you."

Fraternal Order of Police: Nearly 300 law enforcement officers have been shot in 2020

The National Fraternal Order of Police shared a report showing law enforcement offices are under attack. On Tuesday, the organization released new statistics reporting that 283 officers have been shot in 2020 with 44 of them being fatal.

The group commented that attacks on law enforcement officers are continuing at a “disturbing pace” and has routinely blamed increasing hostility for the rise in attacks.

More detailed information from the FBI shows the number of felonious killings of officers is up more than 20 percent since last year. Nearly half of those incidents were the result of an ambush.

This comes as prominent politicians on the left have attacked law enforcement with increasing calls to defund police departments.

“It’s not just about breaking the cycle of police violence, it’s not just about fixing the budget,” stated Tammy J. Morales, a Seattle council member. “It’s about creating a new system of community safety that centers mental wellness, prosperity and safety for all of our community members.”

Supporters of dismantling police budgets routinely cite an supposed increase in police-related violence, which is an increase the FBI’s national use-of-force data collection reports from the last two years have shown to be false.

The movement has been met with widespread backlash, especially as Democrats have failed to explain exactly what they plan to do in place of police departments.

Departments have reported waves of resignations as defunding efforts continue, leaving many officers wondering “who will protect those who protect and serve?”

As members of law enforcement are continually put at risk while doing their jobs, police unions have spoken out regarding the uptick in violence.

The National Fraternal Order of Police concluded their report by saying violence against officers must be condemned by all, adding “enough is enough.”

Maxine Waters’ campaign paid her daughter $240G over 2019-20 election cycle, FEC records show
Waters, who heads the House Financial Services Committee, has long attracted scrutiny of her campaign finances

The reelection of U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters to another term in Congress last month proved to be something of a financial windfall for Karen Waters, the California Democrat's daughter, federal election data suggest.

Karen Waters received a total of about $240,000 from her 82-year-old mother’s campaign during the election cycle, Federal Election Commission records show.

The dollar figure appears to mirror what Karen Waters received during her mother’s previous campaign in 2018, when the daughter was paid “more than $200,000,” according to a November 2018 report by the Washington Free Beacon.

The 2018 report explained that the bulk of Karen Waters’ payments were for “slate mailer” services that the daughter provided for the campaign, in which other candidates in Southern California paid Maxine Waters’ campaign for endorsement quotes that appeared on mailings sent out to voters on behalf of those other candidates.

Back in 2004, the Los Angeles Times reported that various Waters family members had pocketed a total of more than $1 million over eight years from businesses and campaigns with a connection to the congresswoman. But she separated herself from any ties to those activities......
