Black cats crossing my path have always been good luck

 

I have to fight the urge to spit when I see something dead I'm sure that's superstition based

 

"Bad luck" is a great way to avoid responsibility.
Got hit by a bus? It wasn't because you weren't paying attention when you stepped off the curb. It was because 3 years ago you didn't throw salt over you shoulder when you spilled some.
Sometimes shit just happens. It doesn't mean there's some supernatural explanation for it. The universe doesn't care about us one way or another.

 

I don't think I'd say I'm superstitious BUT I love to challenge them, I love superstitions. I walk under every ladder I can, I (chelsea) grin from ear to ear when I see a black cat cross my way, etc.

 

In the UK the number 13 is considered unlucky a lot of streets and blocks of flats have no number 13.I live in one that should been 13.Tommorow is Friday 13th that considered even worse bad luck.

 

My dad was born on 13th March 1913 which was a Friday he did not have much luck in his life.Still hope your dad has a nice day

 

In Italy 13 is considered good luck and also in France at least before WW1 as well as the ancient Egyptians.

 

I'm not really superstitious, but I do have my 'good luck' fetishes - starting my day with a puzzle game that I must reach a certain score before anything else can happen, and having an absolute 'perfect outfit' before I start my remote (no zoom) workday, I feel that a perfectly coordinated outfit is lucky.

 

I’m just super; I’m not the least bit stitious.

 

If I see a coin on the ground facing heads up, I have to pick it up, and then I don't want to spend it, so I usually stash it in my car. lol

I'm just a little stitious.

 

I don't throw salt over my shoulder but some things I just don't do. Like talking about a vehicle that hasn't ever broke down on you. That's a sure kiss of death to the vehicle. Don't do it people!!!!

 

The old Italians that I lived among during the 60’s and 70’s were the true believers of the “evil eye”, which they called the “Maloch”. It was given by pulling the lower eyelid down with one finger high on the cheek.
One of the first gifts I received there was the horn.

 

Being superstitious would mean I believe I have the ability to control fate for better or for worse, because of something I chose to do or not do...Damn that makes me a pretty special person.
