Freshman Senate Democrat Mark Kelly criticized President Biden for failing to articulate how the White House will “address the immediate crisis at the border” during his address to a joint session of Congress Wednesday night.

“While I share President Biden’s urgency in fixing our broken immigration system, what I didn’t hear tonight was a plan to address the immediate crisis at the border,” Kelly said in a press release following Biden’s 67-minute address.

During the speech, Biden did not mention the situation at the southern border — which has seen a record surge in illegal crossings, according to March data from Customs and Border Protection. Border Patrol apprehended 172,331 migrants last month, 48,587 of the whom were unaccompanied migrant children. Biden did call on Congress “to pass legislation this year to finally secure protection for the Dreamers, saying that “the country supports immigration reform.”

“I will continue holding this administration accountable to deliver the resources and staffing necessary for a humane, orderly process as we work to improve border security, support local economies, and fix our immigration system.” Kelly continued. He also praised Biden for calling on “Republicans and Democrats to continue working together on investments in education, infrastructure, and technology like increasing domestic manufacturing of semiconductors to maintain our competitive edge over China and create the jobs of the future in Arizona.”

Last week, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, a Republican, declared a state of emergency at the state’s southwest border, calling it “overwhelmed.”

“Citizens and our border communities are concerned for their safety and nonprofits, left to pick up the pieces of broken federal policies, are strained,” Ducey said. Arizona is the first state to declare an emergency due to the border situation.

Fentanyl floods across U.S. southern border

Seizures of fentanyl on the U.S. southern border have soared as the border crisis rages on. The opioid, which is 50 times more potent than heroin, has been smuggled into the country at record rates since the beginning of the fiscal year 2021.



So far throughout 2021, more than 5,500 pounds of the drug have been caught by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol personnel, which is up from around 4,700 pounds in all of 2020. A lack of border security and increased demand for the drug have been pointed to as reasons for the surge.

“From a business side, a better return on investment,” DEA Special Agent Bill Czopek said. “Meaning, they’re just making more money selling these products.”

However, North Carolina Sheriff Sam Page has argued the crisis isn’t just relegated to the border.

“2,000 miles away or less, in 2 days traveling time, persons that are moving drugs or moving persons — smuggling or trafficking — can be in my county,” Rockingham County Sheriff Page said.

Opioid deaths in the United States totaled more than 87,000 in 2020 and have already risen 60 percent in the fiscal year of 2021.

“The devastation that these synthetic opioids are causing on the streets of America is significant,” San Diego DEA Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Misha Piastro said.

On top of it all, Mexican cartels aren’t the only foreign entities profiting from the illegal trade.

“It’s manufactured in Mexico clandestinely, with chemicals that come from China,” noted Kyle Williamson, El Paso DEA Special Agent-in-Charge, said.


In response, the DEA has ramped up efforts to combat the onslaught, which was arguably caused by weakened border security under the Biden administration.

“Project Wave Breaker is an operation, in DEA, designed to attack the fentanyl manufacturing, importation, and distribution problem here in the United States,” Williamson stated.

Five people face federal charges in an alleged human smuggling operation in Houston. On Monday, the DOJ announced the charges after Houston Police recently found nearly 100 illegal immigrants held in a house.

Authorities said the migrants were locked in two separate rooms of the residence and dressed only in their undergarments. Police added, there was a possible COVID-19 outbreak among the group.

“We are in a pandemic and we do have some people in the house that are symptomatic,” Assistant Houston Police Chief D.B. Edwards stated. “So, we’ve already had some people in the house tell us they’re not able to smell and not able to taste. And we did have some people with fever. So we’ve got the Health Department going to do some rapid testing and kind of take it from there.”

The suspects face federal smuggling charges. If convicted, each suspect faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a possible $250,000 fine.

"Some parts of the US are already beginning to experience some of the downsides of population slowdown or decline: Shrinking tax bases in rural areas have made it harder for government budgets to support essential services, such as infrastructure and public schools," said the report. "As population growth slows, the pressure for cuts will likely grow. Meanwhile, the existing population will continue to age; by 2030, the Census Bureau estimates that one in five US residents will be of retirement age."

According to experts, noted the report, the U.S. will need to drastically increase immigration to change these trends — perhaps by up to a third.

"These kinds of increases in new, legal immigration can be used in tandem with programs to legalize the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants already living in the US," said the report. "Researchers from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania found that the provisions in Biden's comprehensive immigration reform proposal granting legal status to undocumented immigrants would increase the size of the US population by more than 4 percent by 2050. That's because it would decrease their likelihood of emigrating and increase their birthrates."

All of which is a stark contrast with Trump's insistence that America was already "full."

Biden Continues to Ignore Black People as He Considers Reparations for Deported Migrants

Despite paying a monumental level of lip service to the black community during the campaign, President Joe Biden seems to be concerned about everyone except black people. Since taking office, he has championed the needs of illegal immigrants coming from Central America and Asian victims of hate crimes. So far, the only issue his administration seems interested in tackling for the black community is menthol cigarettes.


The president promised that he would push for a conversation on reparations for black Americans, but hasn’t given the issue much attention since his inauguration. However, he has found time to consider reparations for another group: Illegal immigrants deported under the Trump administration.

Breitbart News reported that: “President Joe Biden’s administration is weighing a plan to provide amnesty, as well as reparations, to more than 1,000 illegal aliens who were deported under former President Trump.”

The administration is in talks with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) which is representing illegal immigrant parents and their children who are currently residing in the United States.



The parents were prosecuted for crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and subsequently deported as the children they arrived with were put in Health and Human Services (HHS) custody. The policy under Trump was known as “Zero Tolerance,” though the federal government has been separating adults from children at the border since before 2001.

As part of the settlement, the ACLU is looking to secure amnesty to bring deported illegal alien parents back to the U.S. to be with their children who were left in Health and Human Services (HHS) custody, along with compensation and taxpayer-funded social services.

A spokesperson from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told NBC News that the agency is “actively working to develop a system for processing and reunifying over a thousand families and to set up a system to provide mental health support and stability to thousands more families who are here in the United States and still trying to heal from the trauma caused by their separation.”

This move would be yet another part of his effort to provide amnesty to over 11 million illegal immigrants currently residing in the U.S. In this case, the administration would fly the previously deported illegal aliens back into the country and give them legal status despite their violating U.S. immigration law.

The policy that separated parents from their children was an ill-advised program despite being similar to how the U.S. has handled these issues since before 2000. If illegals are caught trying to cross the border with their children, they should be deported as a family instead of keeping their children in the U.S.

However, the notion that Biden would consider providing reparations to non-citizens who broke the law is absurd. Moreover, providing them with automatic legal residency is also a ludicrous proposition. Combine this with the fact that open borders policies have a disproportionately pernicious impact on the black community and it becomes clear that this president cares nothing for the African American voters that put him in office.

But this is nothing new. As long as Democrats have no real competition for black voters, they can continue to place them at the back of the bus with impunity.

 

The bullshit about parents being forcibly deported without their kids is just that.
Bullshit.
See, each PERSON who enters the US ILLEGALLY has the right to hearings to determine if they can stay or be deported. So, if the parents are deported the kids they brought still have rights. The 500 or so kids who are in the US and their parents were deported are here because they chose to pursue their rights to hearing. Often this is a collaboration between parents and kids who hope that eventually the kid can sponsor their parents return to the US.

In other words, ILLEGAL MIGRANTS are gaming the system.

For Vasconcelos, “the mestizo, the Indian and even the black are superior to the white in a countless number of properly spiritual capacities.” According to The Cosmic Race, American children descended from Scandinavians, Dutch and English “are much slower, and almost dull, compared with the mestizo children and youth from the south.” Their superior raza cósmica is replacing the inferior black, white, Indian, and Mongol races.

La Raza Cósmica never caught on in South America but in 1979 it was republished by the Chicano Studies department at Cal State Los Angeles, a public university supported by taxpayer dollars. La Raza Cósmica was also the basis for the National Council of La Raza, whose executives gained powerful positions in government.

For example, National Council of La Raza senior vice president Cecilia Muñoz became director of domestic policy for the Obama administration. Muñoz played a role in drafting an immigration bill that included a $300 million slush fund for left-wing nonprofits.


Muñoz told PBS, “even if the immigration law is executed with perfection, there will be parents separated from their children.” So the separation policy was intentional, and it turned out to be very profitable for the politically connected. Southwest Key, staffed by National Council of La Raza members Juan Sanchez and Anselmo Villareal, took in approximately $500 million in federal contracts to house immigrant children.
