Fla. state rep. urges Gov. DeSantis to divest tech companies that censor conservatives

A Florida state representative has called on Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to divest from Big Tech companies that recently censored President Trump.

On Tuesday, state Rep. Randy Fine sent a letter to the Florida governor and his cabinet members in which he pointed out that if the President of the United States can be silenced by Big Tech, so can anyone else.

Fine specifically highlighted Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Apple and Google, while noting Florida tax payers should not be forced to do business with companies that censor them. He went on to comment that if liberal groups were being censored, he would still be expressing the same concerns.

The state representative also pointed out social media platforms like Twitter still allow dictators such as the Venezuelan president on their site, but ban conservatives.

Meanwhile on Twitter, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis showed support for Fine’s call to divest and said officials should consider the proposal on the next cabinet agenda.

 

Snapchat bans Trump

In the interest of public safety, and based on his attempts to spread misinformation, hate speech, and incite violence, which are clear violations of our guidelines, we have made the decision to permanently terminate his account.”

 

Project Veritas exposes Twitter’s plan for political censorship

Watchdog group Project Veritas has continued to expose plans by Big Tech to destroy freedom of speech in America and advance far-left ideas worldwide.

In a bombshell video filmed by a Twitter insider, company CEO Jack Dorsey openly admits the intent to shut down more conservative voices in the coming months.

“We know that we are focused on one account right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account and it’s going to go on for much longer,” he stated. “It’s gonna go on beyond inauguration.”

Dorsey’s comments confirm the latest censorship of Republicans have nothing to do with Capitol Hill protests.

The Twitter CEO also failed to acknowledge violent acts committed by Antifa, Black Lives Matter and other left wing organizations. Instead, he assigned blame to online conservative groups.

Critics have said this points to more censorship and political repressions against Republicans in the future.
