  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Patty Jane's House of Curl, by Lorna Landvik. I'm on my second copy. Makes me cry every damn time I read it.

Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, by Fannie Flagg. Love the movie, love the book 10 times more.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle. I have a video of my son 'reading' it when he was a toddler, and it's one of my favorite books to teach retelling lessons with. :)

The Harry Potter series. All of them, all the time.

Another favorite of his to teach with is A House for Hermit Crab. There's so much detail to talk about, and I love giving the kids an outline of Hermit Crab to decorate with all kinds of doo dads. God, I love teaching little ones!

I’m with the Jedi on The Hobbit and the LotR trilogy. Clarke’s Childhood’s End is propably my all time favourite, and I’ve read it a dozen times. Several of Asimov’s short stories, but especially The Bicentennial Man. Dune and it’s sequels I’ve read a few times all.

I could read the LOR trilogy again, but other than some Shakespeare I haven’t revisited many books. Now movies, watch them over and over to the point of thinking I wrote the screenplay.

I’m not a big reader but I do enjoy reading Tom Clancy. Quite a few of the ships I worked on he talks about in his books.

In one of his books he wrote about a weakness a particular class of ship had to incoming missile. The navy must have read the book because they made changes to eliminate that threat.

I just googled it and it was The Hunley and it was Clive Cussler who was involved with it, not Tom Clancy, but the Hunt for Red October was mentioned. Part of that movie was filmed at Lake James which isn't too far from me.

I know, I saw them the other night. No big mystery why I been acting like a dog, you put a spell on me. It's your fault that truck hit me and broke my arm while I was crossing the street. I stopped to lick my balls and it hit me.
