Once Biden is finished destroying our economy and the ability of Americans to pay their bills, he won't have a very high bar to 'Build Back Better'.
At that point, throwing a dozen donuts into an intersection should do it.

The bill passed by a vote of 220-213, mostly along party lines, with one Democrat voting against it. “We have a Build Back Better Bill that is historic, transformative and larger than anything we have ever done before,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said before the vote. “We are building back better. If you are a parent, senior, child, worker, American — this bill is for you.”

Here are seven of the current bill’s most significant provisions.

$555 billion to fight climate change

    $400 billion for universal pre-K

$200 billion for child tax credits

$200 billion for 4 weeks of paid leave

    $165 billion on healthcare spending

$150 billion to expand affordable home care

    $150 billion for affordable housing

The largest source of revenue stems from a new 15% tax on large corporations with over $1 billion profits, as well as a 1% surcharge on companies that perform stock buybacks—part of the President’s ongoing effort to address how some companies paid zero dollars in taxes last year. The spending bill will also be funded through a new tax surcharge on the wealthiest Americans, applying a 5% rate on income above $10 million and an additional 3% surtax on income above $25 million.

There was no Republican support and there will be none in the Senate. That gives Manchin of West Virginia and Sinema of Arizona huge influence, in a chamber split 50-50 and controlled by the vote of Vice-President Kamala Harris.

The two senators have already pressured the Democrats to cut the cost of the spending plan in half.

You're right...yet it'll be one hell of a task getting all the hack fucks out of office...it's an easier task to get the hack fucks out of the Majority, which is going to happen.

Build Back Better hack fuck bill will actually cost $4.9 TRILLION, while adding $3 trillion to the National debt....the Senate will not pass this, it's scheduled to be voted on by Christmas day.

If they don't fix they vaccine mandate guards at correctional facilities are gonna quit. And they're talking about letting prisoners go over it. Due to overcrowding. Don't know if that's related to the subject here but that's my 2 cents. Or is it a dollar now due to inflation?

Amidst the country’s worst inflation in almost four decades, Democrats have continued to push their multi-trillion-dollar Build Back Better bill and some economists have claimed more spending will not fuel more inflation.

In a recent interview, White House Chief Economist Jared Bernstein said passing the social spending bill wouldn’t affect the current supply chain crisis and said gas prices have already dropped since August. However, Americans have continued to suffer financially with Bernstein saying the bill will help in the long-term.

“In the near term, Building Back Better does nothing to the current inflation, to the things that we’re talking about now, these month to month prints that we’re describing today. What it does do is help cut costs for middle class and lower income families, cost of prescription drugs, cost in childcare, cost of education, cost in housing…some of the most challenging aspects in family budgets. Building Back Better helps to ameliorate those costs. It ameliorates near term costs, it lowers inflationary pressures over the longer term,” said Bernstein.

Bernstein is confident the legislation will assist near term costs and that inflation levels won’t change, however, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who is actually in favor of the bill, has said the opposite. During an interview on Friday, Summers said if he was a senator, he would vote in favor of the measure, but would scale back on certain things within the legislation, including reducing taxes for the rich.

He further added it was wrong to make large and broad payments earlier in the year, which is why moderate Democrat senators like Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) are doubtful about passing the measure. Both senators have faced pressure from their party, especially Manchin, who is reportedly set to meet with Biden to discuss the details of the bill this week.

Although most of the pressure is on the West Virginia senator, Sinema’s vote is also vital for Democrats to be able to pass the measure in an evenly divided Senate. However, the Arizona senator previously stated she wouldn’t support the legislation and would continue her efforts to renegotiate the bill in order to “vote for what’s right.”

Meanwhile, the Biden administration said they’re on track to get the measure passed before Christmas, but without the support of Manchin and Sinema it could be delayed until 2022.

Republicans in the upper chamber decry Joe Biden’s economic agenda after receiving final word on how much his Build Back Better bill will cost.

“The radical left could care less. They are on a mission to pass this monstrosity come hell or high water,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). “I think today, we show that this…they’re twin daggers aimed at the heart of the American economy.”

On Friday, South Carolina Sen. Graham broke down the numbers citing the much anticipated Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report released moments before. The report revealed the spending proposal actually costs nearly $5 trillion, which is $3 trillion more than what Democrats repeatedly promised.

The CBO added this would increase the budget deficit by $3 trillion over the next ten years.

Graham warned the bill would also drive up an already skyrocketing inflation rate, which has increased to nearly 7 percent. He also claimed the bill was written to subvert attention from the hidden costs and said he wonders how Democrats plan to pay for the bill.

Ahead of the CBO’s announcement, both Republican senators of Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, derided Biden’s agenda. They lamented the Biden administration’s supply chain crisis and massive spending proposals are costing their constituents big at the grocery store and gas pump.

They further condemned the high inflation rates as a tax on the American people. Additionally, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called the bill reckless and irresponsible, highlighting Democrats promised their agenda wouldn’t cost a thing.

Earlier this week, Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy pointed out the U.S. doesn’t have the money to pay for the bill.

“We’ll have to borrow the money. We don’t have the $3 trillion. We don’t even have 5 percent of it. Now, I think, that the bill represents a spending taxation and borrowing orgy that we don’t need,” said Kennedy.

In the meantime, Biden and Republican senators continue the fight to sway the opinion of key swing vote, West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin (D). Biden said he plans to meet with the Democrat senator next week to see if he’ll toe the party line. However, Sen. Graham said he believes Manchin will use the facts to ultimately decide against the bill.

Democrats are hoping to pass the bill by Christmas day.

    Now aces, save your breath.
It doesn't matter, how much the debt increases, or how much inflation increases, or any of that.
Nancy Antoinette needs her light rail deal to Hunters point, and damn it, the tax payers owe her.
The power rangers have their fingers in the pot, and certainly a lot of deplorables do as well.
Nope. This bill must pass. It's for the good of ................. congress.

Now if everyone can just cooperate for just a little bit, everyone gets what they want.

Sen Manchin has a big problem if he votes for this shit, I;'d like to think that he is a man of principle...knowing that Crime Boss Biden and the Ho (half cracker 3.0) isn't a friend of West Virginia and it's primary Industry of fossil fuels.

This Bills kills that State from the top down...I still hold hope that this bill is dead.
