  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Twitter and Facebook are privately owned. Free speech is only guaranteed against government interference.

Censorship has nothing to do with the originators first amendment rights, censorship is the removal or prohibition of expression from media. Which is the media’s right as guaranteed by the first amendment.

Twitter and Facebook are not bound by free speech rights under the constitution.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.,,"

Also freedom of speech is not the freedom to incite violence. All the freedoms that we accept as normal should be exercised wisely and with a view to normal behaviour, certainly not to incite illegal behaviour

Re censorship: Considering our president has worked his ass off over 4 years using the office of the president and it's power with the people, trying to censor the media who presented any commentary negative about him, any of them FOX and Chris Wallace included, why don't you "cry me a river" over Trump being thrown off Twitter!
Had he been able to, he would have shut down any one who spoke up against him and his followers would have cheered him on as a patriot!

Interesting side note. No one has come to stumbler's defense. I don't know why he was suspended, but I bet it had something to do with violating the rules... Not unlike what Trump did on Twitter.

Do you intentionally miss the point? Or do they go over your head willingly?

You queried why NO ONE is defending. The question then became what was stopping you?

What other possible point is there?

Of interest is that Mark Zuckerberg, some will recall, said that for the election in 2020 Facebook would not be "fact checking" political statements. He didn't feel that it was his companies place.

And the Supreme Court stepped in last year on a case where a non profit was charged with operating New York Cities public channels, and two producers sued when they were castigated over some show they produced and that aired.
The supreme court, In a decision written by Justice Brett Kavanaugh, ruled that the First Amendment constraints didn’t apply to the nonprofit, which they considered a private entity. Providing a forum for speech wasn’t enough to become a government actor, the justices ruled.

Even if the non profit was actually hired by the city of New York to act in it's place.

The liberal justices on the court, in a dissenting ruling, argued instead that the terms under which the nonprofit ran the channels for the city should have bound it to First Amendment constraints. The nonprofit, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote, “stepped into the City’s shoes and thus qualifies as a state actor, subject to the First Amendment like any other.”

So, anyway, one must ask; again, what is it that Trump did to get banned?

Because its private and a suspension shouldnt be discussed in public, no one knows why and I doubt stumbler would like any one talking about him behind his back...

I have a thought to express but I will wait until his return.

And civility aside...you're a particular type of reprehensible shit stirrer, ya know

    Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg

"The shocking events of the last 24 hours clearly demonstrate that President Donald Trump intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power to his elected successor, Joe Biden.

His decision to use his platform to condone rather than condemn the actions of his supporters at the Capitol building has rightly disturbed people in the US and around the world. We removed these statements yesterday because we judged that their effect — and likely their intent — would be to provoke further violence.

Following the certification of the election results by Congress, the priority for the whole country must now be to ensure that the remaining 13 days and the days after inauguration pass peacefully and in accordance with established democratic norms.

Over the last several years, we have allowed President Trump to use our platform consistent with our own rules, at times removing content or labeling his posts when they violate our policies. We did this because we believe that the public has a right to the broadest possible access to political speech, even controversial speech. But the current context is now fundamentally different, involving use of our platform to incite violent insurrection against a democratically elected government.

We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great. Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete."

Few people are protective of opinions that they consider to be dangerous. If a dangerous opinion is presented well with fact based and logical arguments, people think it is even more dangerous, and more in need of suppression. The assertion that gene alleles are the major factors influencing ability levels and behavior falls into the realm of dangerous thoughts. Many people think expressing such opinions is at least rude and insensitive, and at worst may result in genocide.

Nevertheless, political policies based on assumptions about humans that are not true fail, and often have harmful effects.
