Your complete lack of knowledge on the most important subject and problems that humanity has ever face is truly heart wrenching there’s a 99.5% chance that we are far past all tipping points and are nothing more than a dead plant spinning. I will be glad to post any numbers or topics of indisputable Science or respected authorities on the subject. There probably will be an ice covered earth. Billions of years into the future after we are flying out into interstellar space. The possibilities of the planet experiencing an Ice Age like we have known in the previous million years is statistically nill. Mankind will never see the real effects of climate wise. We soon will se a cascade effect csused by a weather event (s) that doesn’t allow us to grow our food supply. Example. if there are food wars, who’s going to show up and monitor the fuel rods of the worlds 455 nuclear power plants? If there are 455 Chernobyl’s, do you think a large percentage of the survivors are going to be able to keep their heads? One of an infinite number of possibilities . An unimaginable CASCADE effect is awaiting us.

I never insinuated, nor say, I have the answer. I do know one thing that could change everything, Sequestering carbon into a solid state. It should be incentivized like no other technology in the history of Homo sapien! Carbon neutral means nothing. Micro grids and individual renewable energy systems is in easy and doable solution to future carbon increases in the atmosphere. Planting 1 trillion trees is a completely doable and incredibly helpful step. There are hundreds of things that we should be doing now that we aren’t even contemplating. That is my point. We should at least give it a 100% effort. I think we owe it to that 1/2 of 1% possibility that we actually might pull it off and everyone under 40 . It is a complex problem and it will involve complex answers. I do know that. One other thing I know to be a certainty. If it’s unsustainable, it will end.

To the idea that America can affect climate change while china, India and russia do nothing...as usual, the world looks to America to solve its problems

 

I don’t even know where to begin on that ignorance. I’ll start with, we are responsible for almost 2/3 of all of the climate changing elements introduced into the environment it’s just the last few years china has even matter. Russia doesn’t compare to India in the long run. And as far as any country interested in saving the planet? Do I even have to go there? Simply put, every Company in every country as an economic opportunity before it right now, that has never existed in the history of civilization. I’ll just stop there on incentives.

Get a fucking grip. There has never been a statement that has highlighted ignorance of a topic like “the world looks to America to solve its problems” circa 2021. We are the motherfucking problem circa 2021! Damn boy, you’re thick.

It’s not going to involve generations plural I’m thinking if you’re under 70 you’re going to see the effect in your lifetime and if you’re under 40 you might not live to grow old because of it. As a matter of fact no one might live to grow old because of it. We are not facing climate change. We are facing an eminent climate crisis

 

it certainly isn’t about me. It’s about humanity. And I did Seriously hope I can at least make a connection or two of kind of critical thinking people that I’ve made at least five on the forum over the various threads. I’m way ahead. It’s not about what I know or don’t know, but what “we” can do. The prognosis for the planet and its inhabitants it is currently bleak, But, I seriously don’t think that seven.5 billion people on the same page has me obstacles in its path. I don’t know what my role in all of this is. I know I’m a poor communicator, a worse teacher, but a passionate and knowledgeable person concerning the issue. Are we ever going to be able to put away our egos and stick to the topic of problems and solutions. Mainly solutions.
