Are you expected to be perfect? I try but it’s been really hard.

 

What is ''perfect''

Food can be perfect..a color can be perfect... and something can be perfectly fucked up.

But to expect an individual to be perfect, is asinine to say the least.

Fuck the dumb shit...be happy with yourself....is the only perfect an individual should strive for.

 

No one is expected to be perfect at any level but absolution comes to those that see their "sins" and are willing to atone for them. Remember that all sins are a creation of man as are transgressions, race, gender, and political affiliations.

 

Being real good at one thing can forgive a few sins.

 

There's a quote. I don't remember it word for word. I will try to find it. But on days where i feel like i'm just not perfect enough or not as perfect as i feel i should be i think of this quote.
It's mostly the truth i think. Sometimes we can just be way too hard on ourselves. Noone is perfect.

Perfection is the enemy of good enough.

 

I don't expect any other person to be perfect, but I find it hard to forgive myself my mistakes.

Is it perfectionism, or is it egotism? Why do I hold myself to higher standards than I would expect from anyone else? Do I really think I'm so much better?

 

Its not hard to be perfect, the hard part is getting others to realize it

The precise location of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was Golgotha, otherwise referred to in Scripture as the "place of the skull". The biblical narratives indicate that the crucifixion took place outside the city walls. Since the walls around Jerusalem have changed locations significantly over the years, pinpointing the exact location of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ could prove difficult. Protestants collectively hold that the authentic Golgotha is located at a placed called the "Garden Tomb", also known as Gordon's Calvary (after the man who, in 1883, declared as such) where a tomb dating back to the 1st century was found. The validation for this being the location of Golgotha is found in the presence of a rock formation very nearby that strongly resembles a skull. However, the theory of the Garden Tomb being the authentic site of Golgotha has been somewhat debunked over the years, as archaeological evidence suggested that the tomb once thought as belonging to Jesus Christ was not new at the time of His burial. This would directly conflict Scripture, which states that the body of Jesus was placed in a tomb that had never been used before.

The traditional view, held by Catholics and archaeologists, place the site of Calvary and Golgotha at the location which is now the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This would put the site just outside the city walls as they existed during the time period, and in a brand new tomb. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre being the authentic site of Jesus' crucifixion and burial would also align itself perfectly with the final destination of what archaeologists have pin-pointed as the Via Dolorosa -- the path Jesus walked with His cross from Pontius Pilate's courtyard to Golgotha.

We are all flawed and perfection is an illusion. The true goal is to be perfectly flawed.

 

Perfect? Hell I'd be happy if people thought of me as just "good." Christ even that would be a stretch

 

I am what I am....and I'm content with that!

 

I'm far from perfect. I have known some people that believe they are perfect and everyone else is wrong.

 

Perfect is in the eye of the beholder.

Otherwise, nothing is perfect in life to everyone.

 

Sin means faulty and ignorance is the biggest fault.
