    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    Funny, My wife totes a steamer trunk, well, I do for her. When we did a family cruise, the smallest female had the largest and heaviest trunk of us all.

      We went on a 13 day land/sea tour of Alaska and the Yukon last year. With two carry-ons!
      They clapped and saluted us at the hotel transportation desk. lol
      Of course there were no formal nights on this trip so that helped.

      We travel with "wicking" style clothing. It's lightweight, rolls up into almost nothing, can be easily washed out in the sink and dries rapidly. Three days of clothes and what you got on should do fine. ;)

    How does one rearrange an apartment to accommodate the coming cold? Just curious, not wanting to incite an argument...
    We don't get all that cold down here, and when it does, all our landscaping dies off. But I've never had to rearrange a living
    condition to prepare for the coming cold.

      HA! July in Laredo is brutal. BRUTAL! I'd have left Texas as well. A/C is worth the cost.
      If you can afford it, that is. There were times in my life when I had to limit my use. Whew.

      I don't understand how people can live there or even further south. Just insane. I've always lived by the rule, living in the warmer climes you can only take so much off and once naked, sex is uncomfortable because of all the sweat, but in the cold climes it is better because you can always put on another layer or another log on the fire, and if you do get naked, sex produces a lot of body heat that a larger comforter will trap.

      Besides, you can't build snow castles in the desert...
