Any pardon whether his own or with Biden pardoning him for federal offenses would leave the country with a bad taste, not knowing if or the extent of any crimes he may have committed. He's been accused and tried by the press and media, and to now close the book without presenting evidence and witnesses, would in effect be a total exoneration for Trump to the millions of Americans who believe him.

A Trump pardon, by himself or anyone wouldn't in any way convince Trump people that he was guilty of anything. They'd consider that a prudent business decision.
In Nixon's case he just went away, and no one expects Trump to shut up and disappear.

Lt. Gen. Flynn says China backs Democrat Party’s election efforts

According to Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the Chinese Communist Party is supporting the Democrat Party’s effort to steal the election from President Trump.

In an interview Sunday, Flynn said common warfare tactics used by the Chinese military, namely information control and manipulation, have been employed in this election. He noted this is part of Mainland China’s advancing of its plan to become the only superpower in the world.

In order to achieve that, Flynn said Beijing would need to remove President Trump.

“Their sort of plan was by about the middle of this century that we are in right now and I believe during the last 2016 election when they didn’t get the candidate that they needed and the kind of ideology that they saw American moving toward, they were not going to allow 2020 to happen,” he explained.

Flynn said he believes the theft of mail-in ballots and the software inconsistencies with Dominion voting machines are evidence of widespread fraud, but that the President will ultimately be victorious

 

Now you have to appreciate the extent the PR hacks are having to go here to push Trump's treason and sedition. Trot out what Mike Flynn has to say. Which just begs the question "hey that Flynn guy. Isn't he the confessed liar that just confessed to those rimes and many more he committed when he got a pardon from Trump"? Great source there. Fucking laughable.

And this is going to be fun to see which wins out. Trump's advisors or his mental illness? It is just another form of political suicide for Trump to fire Bill Barr now and that is what all his advisors and family members are telling him. Another disaster in the waiting that could really end Trump's political ambitions. But Trump is literally and clinically mentally ill and cannot grasp the consequences of his own actions and usually only reacts out of fear and rage. And Barr essentially just called Trump the biggest loser and I don't think he can tolerate that.

Now this could be a very serious problem. When Trump pardoned Flynn he tried to pardon him from any and all crimes connected to the Mueller investigation and his campaign. As many legal experts pointed out that was a crime in and of itself because Trump is using his pardon power to try to continue buying Flynn's silence and obstruct justice. But its looking like it is already falling apart.

Which is not good because Flynn has shown he's a very nervous man and if Trump can't protect him he's likely to run to those who can and cooperate.
