The generals who reported to President Trump did things that they still should be in the brig for, per Dr. Peter Navarro in an excellent interview on Bannon’s War Room this morning.

Dr. Peter Navarro shared: The idea that he [General Milley] would take the quote ‘initiative’ to call the Chinese without informing the President to assuage them on something that never, ever entered the Oval Office. I was in the Oval Office every time we ever talked about China. Every time. Never once was there any idea that we would threaten them with war or whatever. Donald Trump is the most peace loving person in the world. That’s why he covets ‘peace through strength’ and wants a high defense budget.

Steve Bannon then interjects: He [President Trump] also understands something very sophisticated he never gets credit for. He understands in modern warfare, unrestricted warfare, you have information ‘cyber’, you have economic and you have kinetic. Donald Trump is the one who used the kinetic card last…

Dr. Navarro responds: …That’s my problem with Milley. It’s like these guys in uniform. You’ve got,whether it’s Mattis. Whether it’s McMaster. Whether it’s Milley. Whether it’s John (Friggin) Kelly. These guys. It’s like their whole careers were built on obeying the chain of command. If anybody below them had ever done what they did to President Donald Trump, they’d still be in the brig… …These people are so out of control right now. Everything they did is undermining the fundamental principles of the republic. Milley should be court marshaled for what he did. There is no excuse for the Joint Chiefs of Staffs’ Head to unilaterally go to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and talk about what may or may not be in the head of the Commander in Chief that Milley served. You do not do that.

I have never understood how the generals at the top (far too many, at least) seem to be so willing to stand with Far-Left Liberals, Democratic Socialists and crypto-Marxists.

I have three sons, two served in the Army: the one who has made it a career is now a Major (Mountain-qualified Airborne Ranger and Pathfinder, all that pointy tip of the spear stuff, with multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq). Also, my husband was a Green Beret medic. All of them had the same answer: To reach general officer levels, one must become a risk-averse politician. The generals above are probably not particularly supportive of the liberals and socialists now in power, but they are part of the Washington bureaucracy. And as such, all recognized the danger that President Donald Trump represented to the bankers and the Fourth Branch of government. And so, as best they could, from the very beginning they blocked him in things large and small.

To this day, my husband (white, conservative, enlisted veteran that he is) feels that the oath he took to defend the Constitution is binding to the day he dies. And if you get a couple of beers in him, he rants just as strongly that these general officers, serving and retired alike, have soiled that oath; the very same one that every woman and man in the military takes on their first day of service.

There will come a day of reckoning.....

 

vincenzz, anyone can post stuff they find on the internet that they like. When will you demonstrate that you learned anything in high school by composing original arguments that demonstrate that you remember what your English teachers taught you about spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation? Everything you post reveals that you are one of the poorly educated people Trump pretends to love. I doubt you have read a single book it its entirety since you dropped out of high school. You like Trump because he does not read either. When he was asked to read part of the United States Constitution he had trouble, and complained that it was like a foreign language.

Fox News boss Rupert Murdoch has said Donald Trump should stop focusing “on the past” in a rare public rebuke of the former US president.

On Wednesday addressing the annual meeting of stockholders for News Corp Murdoch said: “The current American political debate is profound, whether about education or welfare or economic opportunity.
“It is crucial that conservatives play an active, forceful role in that debate, but that will not happen if President Trump stays focused on the past. The past is the past, and the country is now in a contest to define the future.”

Murdoch, who is also co-chair of Fox News’s parent Fox Corporation, has made few public comments about Trump, whose presidency was championed by most of Fox’s biggest commentators. Since his defeat Trump has continued to push unfounded conspiracy theories that the election was “stolen” by Joe Biden, who beat Trump by a margin of more than 7m votes.

Until now the 90-year-old media mogul has publicly stayed out of the fray and not commented on the election. But according to Murdoch biographer Michael Wolff in private he has called Trump “a fucking idiot”.

Trump has had a testy relationship with Fox claiming, without evidence, that its ratings had “completely collapsed” after the news channel made an early call for Biden’s victory in the last election. He has forged closer ties with Fox’s much smaller rivals OAN and Newsmax but has lost much of his online media presence after being banned by Twitter and Facebook.
