No New story posted since 19/12/19.. seems long holidays..

 

Tried posting a story and hit publish it came up edit mode. When I hit edit it comes up "bad Token" WTF? Can't edit and its not posted what am I doing wrong?

I've run into the same problem where my pre-existing stories have somehow been renamed with weird names like "Captured Couples_(1)" instead of just the simple name "Captured Couples" and then it won't let me edit or post anything, giving me that same annoying error "Bad Token".

Has anyone heard any updates on this? I sent a message to help/support and I wanted to reach out and see what other people have run into. This is definitely odd. In the meantime, I'll be posting new content on other websites, but I try to keep my stuff current here because I like this site too. It would be great if they could get things working again.

HEY MODERATOR~~~~!!!!! Can someone point me in the right direction for WHO to talk to, to learn how to use this site's editor!?? I've posted three stories so far and while they were troublesome I somehow managed to get them posted. I thought I had it figured out. But when I tried to post my latest story (several times now) I keep getting a red flagged banner ERROR message.. "Unexpected error when saving story" What the hell? I would be happy to correct anything in my story to get it to accept it but I have NO IDEA what the error or conflict is? HELP!!! I'm not asking anyone to fix it, just clue me in on how I can fix it. I've searched and read stuff all over the site and I thought I was falling all the steps outlined to the T... I just don't get it. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

The problem is when I go to edit to change it I get the error "Bad Token" and then if I delete the post it doesn't let me repost it for a while.

 

I'm not sure what that's all about but they seemed to have fixed whatever bug was not letting me post. My problem was it kept telling me there was an unexpected error but it wouldn't tell me what the error WAS. That as I said is now fixed. I hope they can get it straightened out for you as well. Let us know when it goes through and you ARE able to post.. I'd like to read your work. Feel free to read my material as well I've got five stories on here now that my posting issues have been corrected.

Can we get the voting working again? Stories with 0% simply aren't seen y as many people.

 

Any way to edit a posted story or delete it and re post ?

 

I've just went to amend an already posted story, something I've been able to do in the past. It will not let me re=post and it seems to be stuck in edit mode.

Anyway to solve this?

 

I'm a new member and I really like a good story. What I don't like is to have the story throttled by inconsiderate authors. When I sit down to read a good story, I tend to read until the story is over, no matter how long that takes. What I've found a lot on your site and others like it is that authors tend to mete out their stories a little at a time. Examples include:

• The Mind Control Device (23 Chapters) - mypenname3000 (June 2019 - June 2020)
• Step Daughters' Desire (13 Chapters) - jb_funn (August 2018 - September 2018)
• The Prophecy (7 Chapters) - StoryWeaver990 (June 2017 - January 2019)
• Potential (30 Chapters) - bistander (March 2016 - May 2020)

Some of these stories have just stopped without any resolution. Is there any way that you can get your authors to wait until they have their story finished before they publish it? That way we can read the story from beginning to end without waiting several months for the next installment or, worse yet, getting no ending at all. As a reader, the only way that I can ensure that the story that I am reading is completed is by going to the last installment published and reading it to find out if the author is finished. In other words, I have to ruin the story by finding out how it ends before I begin to read it. Please stop this drip drip drip of stories.

 

I would like to preface my comments by saying that us authors are happy that you enjoy the stories you read from us but could you please have some type of consideration? These stories that have entertained you are, for one, free and even though they are free, second, it takes a considerable amount of time to craft them.

The authors you named above are just a few of the incredible authors on this site that take the time out of their lives to put these stories together. This is not a fast food delivery chain and we're not getting paid for it. For most, like myself, it is a hobby so please be patient and the stories will come out in due time because life can sometimes get in the way.

Thanks for continuing to be an avid reader.

Side note: Even though Naked Day is 30 Chapters they are short form stories so comparing it to the named authors above stories it's like 5 Chapters.

REPLY: Yes, your stories are free but you seem to forget that we are your customers and your stories are only given wings by those of us who read them. In other words, the customer is always right (even when what you provide is free).
