I have a special place in my heart for my original engagement and wedding rings. but I don’t wear them anymore. Got an eternity ring for our 10 year anniversary and then got new a wedding band for our 25th.
I’m a sucker for earrings.

 

I have no special rings that I wear .. but I do have several necklaces from my daughter and grandkids that I love !!

I don’t wear any of those though. They’re put away. I normally wear costume jewelry besides a few real rings. I don’t have to worry about any of it breaking or losing them.

I have small earring hoops I never take out, and normally sport big ones if I go out.

I do not wear a chain. Costume jewelry long dangly stuff if I’m working in an office, on occasion, but with my rack I really don’t need to draw attention to my front.

Sometimes I wear a collar.

I inherited some jewelry; miner-cut diamond rings, estate rings, I have some lovely cocktail rings. My great-grandparents invested in jewelry, in diamonds. They’re pretty, but I do not wear any of them on a daily basis, usually only when going out to dine.

I love the look of toe rings and anklets, but I can’t tolerate the way they feel.

amethyst and ankh. Some of my silver. I like to collect something silver whenever I travel or go on vacation out of state, but I normally pick something with meaning.

The amethyst is my birthstone (January) and the color purple is kinda symbolic to me as the color of bisexuality in the "LGBT" spectrum. The range of diverse people using the word "bisexual" to describe themselves is a very wide one. Sexuality, like life in general, is composed of many "shades of gray" (or purple. lol), which I see the amethyst representing.

The ankh, symbolizing eternal life. I'm not really pagan nor do I even believe in an afterlife (though I hope), so I interpret "eternal life" differently: A) you always live on through the memories and actions you have left in the world. and B) you're only as young as you feel. (btw, I'm nearing 90 somedays lately. lol)

 

A cheap gold wedding ring has to be my favorite, it's the only piece of jewelry I own. Bought it in 59 for $20 or less...gold was $32 dollars an ounce.,

 

This is one of my new favourites! I received a set of pearls for my birthday this year! Studs, necklace (shown here), bracelet, and a pair of black pearl studs, because you can’t have too many I guess lol. Pearls are my birthstone and also my favourite, which works out nicely ☺️
