After the Capitol Hill incident on January 6, many are starting to lump in all of the President’s supporters with those who rioted and broke into the Capitol Building.

Report: Dems partly at fault for insufficient security at U.S. Capitol

According to national security expert Paul Crespo, security officials were reportedly deterred from mobilizing National Guardsmen prior to protests in the U.S. Capitol last week due to the response of Democrats to the use of federal forces over the summer.

The D.C. government reportedly had prepared a much more aggressive response to the planned protests in the capitol, which would have included activating an emergency operation center. The response would have also utilized the coordinated strength of local and federal law enforcement as well as the National Guard.

Unfortunately, the plans were impeded by military officials and none other than congressional Democrats. During the lawlessness of Black Lives Matter and its supporters, which was forced upon the nation over the summer, President Trump deployed National Guard troops to protect the White House and the Capitol.

“You’ll end up looking much better in the end. Call in the National Guard, call me,” the President stated at the time. “We’ll have so many people…you have to dominate the streets, you can’t let what’s happening happen.”

Crespo stated House Democrats slammed the police for trying to enforce law and order, which caused many to hesitate to deploy troops last week.

“Peaceful, law abiding citizens were exercising their constitutional right to protest in a public park across from the White House,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) previously stated. “President Trump ordered federal troops to clear those peaceful crowds with tear gas and rubber bullets.”

Additionally, now resigned Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund said he had requested assistance from National Guard days before the protest. Pentagon officials and congressional Democrats staggered the chief’s request for additional troops because the “optics” of troops in front of the Capitol Building would supposedly convey.

Apparently, even as an onslaught of approximately 8,000 angry protesters were charging toward the U.S. Capitol, the chief’s request was denied for a sixth time and by then it was too late. Sund reportedly supported the view of the Pentagon at the time, but resigned on Thursday.

Security officials have since requested 15,000 troops in preparation for the inauguration of Joe Biden.

 

Michael Yon: Antifa clearly led attack at the Capitol

Writer and photographer Michael Yon claims the violence at the U.S. Capitol was started by Antifa.

In an interview with ‘The Epoch Times,‘ Yon said he was at last week’s demonstration and witnessed anti-fascist protesters using what he called “Hong Kong tactics.”

Yon explained how he has covered dozens of protests in Hong Kong and said Antifa was at those demonstrations to learn their tactics.

He claimed the radical group brought those tactics to the U.S. and used them to incite violence at the Capitol.



“What we’ve seen so far — and being physically present — Antifa clearly led the attack, that was utterly obvious,” Yon recalled. “For instance — outside during part of the attack when there was much gas fired — there was a lady on the megaphone saying ‘Send up the masks!’ That is a clear Hong Kong tactic that I’ve never seen in any other war and conflict.”

Yon added Antifa members are trained to dress up like the people they oppose and to provoke violence

So does bullshit, from both sides, it flows like honey to some and like lava to others, the perspectives are interchangeable.

Was the breech of the Capitol preplanned, of course it was, the questions are many, but foremost, who, when and why? It going to take a hell of a lot more investigation and litigation before we know the answers.

It’s human nature to put our own spin on what is reported, just as it is the nature of MSM to get a scoop and sell their conclusions.

It's amazing to learn so late in the Trump administration that Antifa was in charge the whole time, but Trump supporters have always had the appearance of being easily misled. There are supposed to be more protests on Inauguration Day. How can Trump supporters avoid being tricked into attacking the Capitol Building again? Anybody who shows up in Washington DC will have to be very careful about who is standing next to them. Apparently Antifa looks just like Trump supporters, at least the white ones.

It's not amazing to see how quickly Trump's base turns on each other and how Trump himself turns on his most devoted followers when things go south. It turns out, he doesn't actually love them, and they're not special.
