CHINA CHINA CHINA!!!!!! BIDEN IS NOT TOUGH ENOUGH ON CHINA!!!!!!

Fox’s Maria Bartiromo Exasperatedly Shuts Down Trump’s Praise of Chinese President Xi: ‘He’s a Killer!’
    By Joe DePaoloDec 19th, 2021, 11:17 am
    88 comments
Maria Bartiromo offered a rare, if brief, bit of pushback against former President Donald Trump in a new interview Sunday.

During a conversation with the former president on Sunday Morning Futures, Bartiromo asked about U.S. relations with China. As part of his response, Trump delivered a glowing assessment of his rapport with China’s President, Xi Jinping.

“You know, I had a great relationship with President Xi,” Trump said. “I really believe he liked me, and I like him. I had a great relationship—”

An exasperated Bartiromo cut Trump off.

“He’s a killer!” Bartiromo said, throwing up her arms in frustration.

“He is a killer,” Trump replied. “But I had a great relationship with him.”

While there are very few issues on which she has publicly crossed the former president, this is not the first time Bartiromo has been critical of Trump’s rhetoric or actions on China. Back in 2019, she slammed Trump for coming up short on trade talks with China, arguing he “got nothing.”

“Basically, to me it looks like the Chinese got what they want,” Bartiromo said then.

Trump, on Sunday, went on to say that Covid was the turning point in his relationship with Xi.

“They really destroyed the whole world,” Trump said.

Fox News says employees much show proof of vaccination — and testing is no longer an option

    Fox News

On Monday, Jeremy Barr of The Washington Post reported that Fox News is updating its COVID-19 policy to require all of their employees in their New York City office be vaccinated.

Previously, the right-wing network had a policy that those wishing not to be vaccinated could instead submit to regular testing for COVID-19 — but under the new policy, this is no longer a substitute for being vaccinated at the New York office.
    Jeremy Barr
    @jeremymbarr

NEW - Internal memo for Fox staff: "All workers in NYC who perform in-person work at an office location, including Fox employees, must show proof of receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine" by Dec. 27. Testing will no longer be alternative to getting vaccine in NYC.
    1:25 PM · Dec 20, 2021

This comes as New York sees a record spike in COVID-19 cases, driven primarily by the spread of the ultra-infectious Omicron variant — but hospitalizations are still under control in large part because of the state's high vaccination rate. At least 90 percent of Fox News employees are already vaccinated.

Despite its own newsroom policies, many Fox News personalities and anchors are railing against vaccine mandates on their network, with Laura Ingraham calling vaccine mandates an "anti-freedom" agenda pushing an "experimental drug on Americans against their will," and Tucker Carlson falsely claiming there's "no difference" in transmission between vaccinated and unvaccinated people. One analysis by the left-wing media watchdog group Media Matters found that from April to September, Fox News aired vaccine-critical content every day except two.

CNN reporter catches Fox News blatantly lying about Biden's COVID-19 speech

During his speech on his administration's plan for handling the coming winter surge in COVID-19 cases, President Joe Biden gave credit to former President Donald Trump's administration for its initiative in developing COVID-19 vaccines.

Additionally, Biden specifically gave Trump credit for talking publicly about his decision to get a booster against the virus.

"Just the other day, former President Trump announced he got his booster shot," he said. "It may be one of the few things he and I agree on. People with booster shots are highly protected.”

Despite this, as CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy notes on Twitter, Fox News falsely told its viewers hours later that Trump got no credit from Biden or Democrats for his administration's work on the vaccines.

A Fox News chyron that appeared mere hours after Biden's address falsely stated, "Dems refuse to credit Trump for vaccine effort."

‘He can’t mention the election again’: Text messages reveal Sean Hannity’s frantic efforts to rein in Trump

Donald Trump and Sean Hannity (Fox News/screen grab)

Fox News host Sean Hannity repeatedly tried to rein in former president Donald Trump in text messages to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, in the days before and after the Jan. 6 insurrection.

In a letter requesting Hannity's testimony on Tuesday, the House select committee investigating the Capitol insurrection revealed several of the Fox News host's text messages to Meadows and others.

"We can't lose the entire WH counsel's office," Hannity wrote to Meadows on Dec. 31, apparently referring to White House lawyers' threats to quit over Trump's efforts to overturn the election.

"I do not see January 6 happening the way he is being told," Hannity wrote of Trump, before effectively encouraging the former president to accept defeat.

Hannity wrote that after the certification of electoral college votes on Jan. 6, Trump "should announce (he) will lead the nationwide effort to reform voting integrity."

"Go to Fl (Florida) and watch Joe (Biden) mess up daily. Stay engaged. When he speaks people will listen," Hannity wrote.

On Jan. 5, Hannity wrote to Meadows that he was "very worried about the next 48 hours."

Apparently referring to efforts by Trump and his allies to pressure Vice President Mike Pence into blocking certification of Biden’s victory, Hannity warned, "Pence Pressure. ... WH counsel will leave."

Following the insurrection, Hannity appeared to be struggling to convince Trump to accept his defeat.

“Guys, we have a clear path to land the plane in 9 days,” Hannity wrote in a message to Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Jan. 10. “He can’t mention the election again. Ever. I did not have a good call with him today. And worse, I’m not sure what is left to do or say, and I don’t like not knowing if it’s truly understood. Ideas?”

According to Politico, Hannity's text messages are "the latest indication that some of the former president’s closest allies grew increasingly alarmed by his actions in the aftermath of his defeat, despite not saying so publicly."

"Hannity was one of Trump's staunchest media allies throughout his candidacy and presidency and he has often relied on Hannity for his counsel and conservative media megaphone," the site noted.

The committee previously released a text message from Hannity to Meadows on the day of the insurrection, calling on Trump to "ask people to peacefully leave the [C]apit[o]l."

"Hannity was not the only Fox News host urging Meadows to get Trump to take action," CNN reports. "According to documents on file, the committee has a message from Laura Ingraham to Meadows saying, 'Mark, the President needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home. This is hurting all of us. He is destroying his legacy.' Fox News' Brian Kilmeade texted Meadows stating, "'Please get him on TV. Destroying everything you have accomplished.'"

Now the way we know we are dealing with just dangerous false propaganda and often times false Russian propaganda is Fox News will broadcast something like this but tomorrow morning when it does not come to pass and nothing happens they will not make a retraction or correction. They will just pretend it didn't happen. And their brainwashed blind parrot audience will never notice the difference.

Glenn Beck’s Bonkers Claim of Internment Camps for the Unvaxxed Draws Hasty Clarification from Tucker Carlson

    By Alex GriffingJan 12th, 2022, 12:08 pm
    776 comments

Tucker Carlson ended his wild interview with Glenn Beck on Tuesday night with a mild clarification regarding one of Beck’s more bombastic claims.

Beck, who was on Fox’s top-rated Tucker Carlson Tonight promoting his new book The Great Reset, claimed that an international “reset” is underway that is moving Western civilization toward a fascist dystopia and that there is proof of it in Washington State – upcoming Covid-19 “internment camps.”

“The Great Reset is not a conspiracy theory, it is something that the Davos people have put together along with the World Economic Forum,” claimed Beck, while Carlson listened intensely, “and it is running rampant through every Western capital and every Western country.”

    Beck charged:

“Tomorrow morning at 9:30, the Washington state Covid detainment emergency, they are going to have a state board of health discussing from 9:30 to 3:30 tomorrow allowing health, local health officers to use law enforcement to force an emergency order in involuntarily detaining a person or group of persons’ families to be isolated in a quarantine facility following the refusal to voluntarily comply with requested medical examinations, testing, treatment, counseling and vaccination. This is an internment camp.”

“Washington state has done it before, they haven’t obviously learned their lesson from World War II,” Beck continued, Carlson would later say he couldn’t verify this claim, but remains open-minded.

“This again is all about total and complete control,” Beck argued. “I was wrong. For a long time, I thought this was about socialism. It is not. It is a brand of fascism.”

Beck, who currently hosts a popular talk-radio show, continued for several minutes, unwinding his doomsday theory which he claims will end the West by 2030.

Beck’s book, co-written by Justin Haskins, has the tagline, “Joe Biden and the Rise of 21st Century Fascism” and on the cover is Biden, Klaus Schwab, head of the World Economic Forum, and Jewish billionaire Geroge Soros — a favorite target of Beck.

“They are going to bankrupt the entire West and only the elites are going to be able to have money, the food they want, the jobs they want, et cetera, et cetera,” Beck concluded. “We will be left in the dust. We must educate ourselves right now.”

Carlson, for his part, left Beck unchallenged in his unfounded and wild assertions, but added at the end:

“We’ve got and let of communication about the law that Glenn mentioned in Washington state. We’ve not been able to track that down, obviously, things have happened in the last years we never would have imagined are true. So, of course, our minds remain open and we will continue to look.”

Just like I said Beck can make just outrageous and dangerous claims like that and Fox will broadcast them but then when it doesn't happen they just pretend like it never happened and go onto something else.

And in this case its a great big drama queen pity party.

Glenn Beck said he didn’t need the vaccine – now he’s very sick with COVID and is taking ivermectin

    Radio host Glenn Beck (YouTube)

Conservative radio host Glenn Beck is not doing well in his struggle with COVID-19, according to the Daily Beast. However, Beck made it clear that he's using the medication known as ivermectin, which has not been proven to be an effective treatment.

“I am great, Mark. I am great, Mark,” Beck told Mark Levin. “Despite having COVID and seeing the destruction of our country,” he added.

“Do you have COVID right now?” Levin asked.

“Yeah, I do,” Beck responded, adding, “It’s [COVID-19] starting to go into my lungs today and a little disturbing. I’m on all the medications and treatments and everything else, so.”

This is the second time that Beck has had COVID, after telling Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he had it in April 2021. It was one of the reasons that he said he didn't need to get the vaccine.

"It’s all good," Beck said coughing in his conversation with Levin. "Mark, I am not concerned about it. I’m really not. I just am so done with this whole COVID thing. I know it is real. I am a fatty-fat-fatso, so that is probably not the best thing, and I got some other issues.”

Beck went on to say that he doesn't think that the monoclonal antibodies are working on the new strain, which means he has the Omicron variant. Sadly, the miracle treatment has been called “ineffective.”

He listed off the drugs he was taking, including the anti-parasite drug ivermectin which is used to treat parasitic roundworm infections. The drug is known for causing side effects such as headache, dizziness, muscle pain, nausea, or explosive diarrhea, according to WebMD.

“I have had it for about a week,” Beck said coughing more. “I’m not going downhill. I mean, I think I’m feeling better. It’s just getting into my lungs... you will want to avoid that."

COVID is known for attacking the lungs, increasing inflammation and fluid that leads to pneumonia. It can also lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome, Johns Hopkins explained.

Beck is one of many high-profile conservatives, pastors and anti-vaccine advocates who have been struck with COVID in recent weeks.

Fox News In 2021: Ratings Dominance Even With Trump Gone, Plus Fox Weather, And Gutfeld Crushes Late-Night

Fox News was the top-rated cable news channel in 2021 for the sixth year in a row.

    SOPA IMAGES/LIGHTROCKET VIA GETTY IMAGES

The December 26 broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” marked exactly two weeks since the abrupt departure of longtime anchor Chris Wallace. Fox has yet to settle on a permanent replacement for Wallace, an 18-year veteran of the network whose exit came at the tail end of another year during which Fox not only held on to its ratings dominance. It also launched high-profile new programming, revamped what’s now a state-of-the-art newsroom in Washington DC, expanded the subscriber base for its Fox Nation streaming service, and much more.

Even before Wallace bolted for CNN’s soon-to-launch streamer CNN+, though, one of the most frequently heard criticisms of Fox was that the network is letting its news side atrophy in favor of more truculent, often incendiary opinion programming. Tucker Carlson, whose primetime opinion show on Fox finished the year as the highest-rated program in cable news, tends to be who most people are thinking of when they make that claim. Which also makes it easy to overlook other aspects of Fox’s operation — and to assume certain things about the kind of news content viewers can expect to see when they tune in.

For example: On that first post-Christmas broadcast of Fox’s eponymous Sunday show?

There was Dr. Ashish Jha, the dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health, talking up the importance of Covid vaccines and booster shots to millions of Fox viewers. As well as the need to keep schools open at this stage of the pandemic.

‘You're all over the map!’ Fox News’ Sean Hannity gets schooled by an economist on his own show

    Sean Hannity (Screen Capture)

Fox News' Sean Hannity was no match for economist Austin Goolsbee on Friday night.

Hannity repeatedly tried to attack president Joe Biden over energy production and gas prices, only to be fact-checked by Goolsbee, a professor at the University of Chicago.

"He inherited energy independence, and we were a net exporter of energy, and now he's begging OPEC," Hannity said of Biden at the beginning of the clip.

"He inherited an economic downturn bordering on catastrophe and in times like that, the price of oil tends to go way down, that's for sure," Goolsbee responded.

"We need to focus," Hannity said. "Did he or did he not inherit — well, three vaccines and monoclonal antibodies — did he also inherit that we were a net exporter of energy, and did he cut energy production by 40 percent? The answer is yes."

"No, he did not cut energy production by 40 percent," Goolsbee responded. "Energy production fell because we were in an economic catastrophe — (a) catastrophic downturn."

"No, he fired Keystone XL pipeline workers," Hannity insisted.

"The Keystone pipeline wasn't built yet, Sean," Goolsbee said flatly. "That had no effect on energy production."

"Then why is he begging OPEC?" Hannity said of Biden. "Donald Trump didn't beg OPEC. Why is he begging OPEC?"

"He's not begging OPEC," Goolsbee said. "He convinced OPEC, and OPEC is increasing their production."

"They keep rejecting him," Hannity claimed.

"They didn't reject him. They said they're increasing production," Goolsbee said. "Why are you complaining about that, Sean? You're all over the map here. You were saying you didn't like to pay high gas prices. I told you gas prices went down and Biden convinced OPEC to increase production, and then you said, 'Why is he asking them to increase production?'"

Fox News host Howard Kurtz seemed to mock former President Donald Trump on Sunday by calling OAN his "favorite network" after the channel was dropped by DirecTV.

During a segment on Fox News about Trump's decision to abruptly end an interview with NPR, Kurtz also pointed out that OAN is losing most of its audience.

"Speaking of Trump and the media, his favorite network, One America News, is being dropped by AT&T's DirecTV," Kurtz said. "That's a big blow to OAN in terms of its reach and its revenue."

There are lots of good reasons President Biden's poll numbers are really low right now. But most of them are due to circumstances beyond his control that will improve. And progressive/liberal/Democrats are fighting back. Because most of it is just bullshit.

Dem strategist steamrolls Fox News host Harris Faulkner as she tries to attack Biden's poll numbers

    David Edwards
    January 18, 2022

    www.youtube.com
Democratic consultant Laura Fink refused to yield to Fox News host Harris Faulkner on Tuesday as she tried to attack President Joe Biden's poll numbers.

During a Fox News segment about Biden's refusal to release visitor records from his private residence, Faulkner admitted that former President Donald Trump had done the same for Mar-a-Lago.

But she added: "So Biden isn't the first president to hold back some of that information but he's spending an inordinate amount of time out of public view and knowledge and that then brings in the issue here."

    Fink disagreed.

"I just don't think -- you can look at this data in Delaware and let's compare it to the stat at Mar-a-Lago where there were a number of hours on a golf course," Fink said. "Look, President Biden is in office. He is taking questions. He is out there. He has accomplished more in his first year the American Recovery Act and the American Jobs Plan, that bipartisan infrastructure deal than his predecessor could in four."

Faulkner tried to interrupt as Fink continued to talk.

"Why are his poll numbers so low?" the Fox News host could be heard asking.

"Don't compare him to the almighty, but the alternative," Fink said without missing a beat. "And I will say this, politically, when President Trump comes back on to the national stage as he has done, you're going to watch those poll numbers turn right back around because the alternative of the previous four years is anathema to both independents and the Democrats who do not find Biden perfect."

New texts reveal Sean Hannity wrote the ‘playbook’ for Trump's White House to respond to Jan. 6

Fox News personality Sean Hannity wrote a five-point playbook for White House staff to respond to the Jan. 6 insurrection, the House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol revealed on Thursday.

The plan was revealed in an 11-page letter the committee sent Ivanka Trump to urge her voluntary cooperation. The committee said it was "investigating the former president's activities and conduct in the days after January 6th, including President Trump's state of mind."

The committee revealed that on Jan. 7, Hannity texted White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany what the committee described as a "five-point approach" to conversations with President Trump.

"No more stolen election talk," was Hannity's first item.

His second item warned "impeachment and 25th Amendment are real, and many people will quit."

The committee did not reveal the other three points of Hannity's plan, but revealed McEnany replied. "Love that. Thank you. That is the playbook. I will help reinforce."

Hannity also texted her "no more crazy people" to which she replied, "Yes, 100%."

The committee said it is interesting in learning more about the "crazy people" influencing Trump.

"The Select Committee would like to discuss this effort after January 6th to persuade President Trump not to associate himself with certain people, and to avoid further discussion regarding election fraud allegations," the committee wrote, suggesting Feb. 3 or 4 for an interview.

On Thursday, former Trump Homeland Security adviser Olivia Troye reacted to the new documents released by the House January 6 Committee, revealing that Fox News host Sean Hannity privately told then-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany that Trump could be impeached over the insurrection, had to stop lying about the election, and needed to be kept away from "crazy people."

"We should note that Sean Hannity's show was a major place where these election lies were told. In fact, they're being sued as a result," said anchor Jake Tapper. "And Kayleigh McEnany is one of the biggest election liars that we know. So what's your reaction when you see this conversation, this private conversation?"

"Well, it's stunning," said Troye, one of several Trump administration alumni speaking out against the former president. "It's stunning to see this full on evidence of these types of conversations that were happening in the lead up to January 6th, but even more so just the fact that they knew the gravity of the situation, they knew the repercussions of the possibility of what would happen and continuing down this narrative and then even more egregious is that now they've doubled down on it. Right? And the problem is, not only does this narrative still exist out there, the Big Lie lives on, it's being used by a people who are seeking public office this year. It's become sort of, the Republican Party's platform is really the Big Lie and you have to support it or you're going to get kicked out."

"I think it is important to get this evidence out there to the American people so that they can see that in the lead up in that situation, with Donald Trump, people knew," added Troye. "People knew that this type of action was worthy of impeachment. It was worthy of the 25th Amendment. That these are actual discussions happening with people like Sean Hannity."
