Loud-talking Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) went off on Dr. Anthony Fauci claiming that Americans are being censored and having their liberties taken away because social media sites are removing conspiracy theories about COVID-19 and the vaccines.

Private companies like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have the right to censor whomever they wish. The United States as a government can't, however. It's unclear if Jordan is aware that social media sites are not run by the U.S. government.

At the same time, cities and businesses put in place mask mandates and capacity adjustments based on safety recommendations from the CDC. The right believes mask mandates are a breach of their American liberties, but they're akin to businesses that say, "no shirt, no shoes, no service."

"You're making this a personal thing, and it isn't," said Fauci.

"No, it's a personal thing!" shouted Jordan.

"My recommendations are not a personal recommendation," explained Fauci. "It is based on the CDC guidance."

"And I'm asking what measures have to be obtained before Americans get their First Amendment liberties back," Jordan said, dripping with sarcasm.

"Right now we have about 60,000 infections a day, which is a very large surge. We're not talking about liberties. We're talking about a pandemic that has killed 560,000 Americans. That's what we're talking about," said Fauci.

"You need to respect the chair, and shut your mouth!" said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) to Jim Jordan.

GOP pushes back against left-wing cancel culture

GOP lawmakers have remained committed to the battle against cancel culture by speaking out against the left-wing movement and drafting legislation to keep “woke businesses” in check.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said Twitter is part of what he calls the “high-tech oligarchy.” Gohmert spoke on the House floor Friday and slammed the social media giant over its alleged habit of targeting conservatives on the platform.

He specifically noted the recent suspension of Project Veritas Founder James O’Keefe. Gohmert reiterated that Twitter claimed to have taken action against O’Keefe’s account after he allegedly violated its rules on platform manipulation and spam.

The Texas lawmaker suggested it’s an effort to silence opposing viewpoints.

“if you expose the truth about somebody or some entity that Twitter is figuratively in bed with, then Twitter will ban you because they don’t want the truth out there,” Gohmert stated.

Gohmert added, Twitter doesn’t want the truth to get out about Americans being manipulated by Big Tech corporations.

Gohmert’s comments come amid a wave of Republican resistance to Democrat-led cancel culture. The backlash remained mostly aimed at large corporations, such as Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines and the MLB, after all three decided to weigh in on the push for voter integrity in Georgia.

Recent reports detailed a bill sponsored by 29 House Republicans, including Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), seeking to strip the MLB of antitrust protections.

The move stemmed from the League’s decision to pull its All-Star Game from Georgia in protest of the election integrity law. Rep. Jordan himself accused “Big Sports” of working to cancel conservative voices while Boebert said the public has lost trust in the MLB.

Recent reports also detailed a digital ad buy by the Republican State Leadership Committee, which highlighted the effects of left-wing cancel culture. The ad is slated to hit New Jersey as well as Virginia and focuses on what the Committee has the “hypocrisy and self-defeating result of the Democrats cancel culture crusade.”

Along with pointing out Democrat lies about the Georgia voting laws, the ad also made note of how moving the All-Star Game hurts the exact people Democrats have said they’re trying to help.

“Who was hardest hit?” the ad questions. “The concession stand worker planning on overtime. The hotel staff expecting full capacity. The small businesses doing everything they can to survive a pandemic. We must end the cancel culture madness. The left cancelled our jobs. They are coming for yours next.”

According to a poll in early March, 64 percent of Americans believe cultural boycotts pose a threat to freedom in the U.S. and they are showing increasing fatigue with the push to cancel public figures.

Rep. Greene: MSM created false narrative of ‘America First Caucus,’ spokesperson says caucus not launching anytime soon

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) defended her plans to craft the ‘America First Caucus’ and accused the mainstream media of creating a false narrative. On Saturday, Greene took to Twitter to say she has yet again been attacked by the media over words that were not really hers.

Her comments came after a staff-written draft proposal about the caucus by an outside group was leaked. The proposal contained calls for “common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political tradition.”

Greene said she believes in America First with all her heart, adding that means every American of every race, creed and color. She went on to say, she will continue to promote the America First agenda as she believes it will save the country.

A spokesperson has said the caucus is not forming anytime soon as it was still in the early planning stages.

 

This has been happening a lot to Jim Jordan lately. Democrats, and especially black women democrats are sick and tired of him being a bully and just aren't putting up with it any more.

Rep. Val Demings (D-FL), a former police officer, clashed with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Tuesday during a House Judiciary hearing.

"I served as a law enforcement officer for 27 years. It is a tough job. And good police officers deserve your support," Demings said. She then accused Republicans of only supporting police when it is politically convenient, prompting Jordan to interrupt.

"Did I strike a nerve?" Demings responded, adding that police officers should not be used as political pawns. "You and your colleagues should be ashamed of yourselves."

The outburst led House Judiciary chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) to plead with members of the committee to not interrupt one another.

"When you give a speech about motives and questioning motives... how do we address that?" Jordan protested.

"I have watched [police officers] live and die, and you know nothing about that," Demings said.

North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R) called out the Biden administration, suggesting it’s time to get them out of office.

During an interview on Monday, Cawthorn highlighted the concerning lack of transparency with Joe Biden in office. He also raised the question as to who is actually pulling the strings behind closed doors.

“They want to use smoke and mirrors and they don’t want to have anything transparent. I know some people were offended by some ‘mean tweets’ by President Trump, but at least we knew what the man was thinking. At least we knew what our government was doing for us,” Cawthorn stated. “Right now, even me as a member of Congress with all the rights and privileges that gives me, I can hardly get any answers, so I can only imagine the frustration the American people are suffering right now.”

“This is a reason why we’ve got to get Democrats out of power,” Cawthorn added. “That’s why I’m so thankful that all of these states, these state legislatures that the Republicans control, are going to be working for election integrity, because we’ve got to take the majority away from these bastards.”

He went on to say the administration is “hiding” from the current crisis at the border.

 

As we can clearly see all conservative/Republicans do is lie. That's all they can do because conservatism itself is a lie the way it is preached and practiced in this nation so treasonous conservative/Republicans must constantly push fake outrage and stupid ignorant lies.

And a perfect example of that is the phony to the point of being laughable outrage about Rep Maxine Waters saying protesters must be more "confrontational" if Chauvin was found not guilt. While conservative/Republicans constantly promote violence and white supremacist themes.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims D.C. Is Too Quiet and ‘Scared’ After Verdict

Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night after Derek Chauvin was found guilty of murdering George Floyd was somehow evidence that Americans should be terrified of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“DC is completely dead tonight,” Greene tweeted. “People stayed in and were scared to go out because of fear of riots. Police are everywhere and have riot gear. #BLM is the strongest terrorist threat in our county.” Presumably, she meant “our country,” not the District of Columbia specifically.

In response, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) tweeted, “I’m in DC like @mtgreenee & she is either the most obtuse person elected to Congress or the biggest liar. People are out & about on a warm night (so loud by me it’s a bit hard to get to sleep) & there is no more police presence than usual. Let the lies rest, Q1.”
