  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Rep. Paul A. Gosar (R-Ariz.) on Tuesday denied that he plans to attend a fundraiser this week with a group that promotes white nationalist ideas, despite an invitation for the event circulating online that features the congressman and Nick Fuentes, a far-right operative who leads America First.

Gosar has previously attended events with Fuentes and appeared to defend the fundraiser in a tweet Monday night when he wrote: “Not sure why anyone is freaking out. I’ll say this: there are millions of Gen Z, Y and X conservatives. They believe in America First. They will not agree 100% on every issue. No group does. We will not let the left dictate our strategy, alliances and efforts. Ignore the left.”

Noting like the political left pushing the fear mongering narrative again.... a virus is a virus....especially when the medical experts have a long standing history with SARS now.

Most Americans want no government action on delta version of CCP virus: Poll

A strong majority (63.0 percent) said that “the government should take no action” and that, “with the wide availability of vaccines and treatments, individuals can make individual decisions about how to respond.”

Respondents who identified as Republicans showed the greatest opposition to government action in response to the Delta version, with 83.4 percent saying the government should stay on edge.

Democrat respondents, who have supported stronger government measures in response to the CCP virus in previous elections, were also mostly opposed, with 50.1 percent saying they do not want any government action.

President Joe Biden has said that the prevalence of the Delta strain would make the possibility of another lockdown in the United States unlikely.

Asked about the possibility of another lockdown at the White House, he said, “I don’t think so, because so many people have already been vaccinated.”

“But the delta version could cause more people to die in areas where people haven’t been vaccinated,” he said. “So, no, it’s not a lockdown, but some areas will be very hurt.”

Lauren Boebert campaigns against all government benefits — and it may haunt the GOP in the 2022 midterms

Controversial Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) excited the left on Saturday after a clip from her speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) provided fodder heading into the 2022 midterm elections.

While Republicans have largely avoided talking about policy while instead focusing on manufactured culture wars outrages, Boebert laid out her vision.

"We're here to tell government we don't want your benefits. We don't want your welfare," she said.

"Don't come knocking on my door with your Fauci ouchie," she said, probably referring to the effort to go door-to-door in with information about where to get a coronavirus vaccine.

"You leave us the hell alone," the GOP congresswoman said.

The idea of cutting Medicare and Social Security has often been called the "third rail" of American politics in reference to the electoral lethality of going after the popular programs.

Democrats were ecstatic, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez urged Boebert on.

"Tell 'em loud and proud girl! GOP will strip your unemployment protections and dismantle any semblance of a public safety net we have left!" Ocasio-Cortez posted to Twitter.

Occasional New York Daily News columnist Brandon Friedman noted how harshly cutting benefits would impact veterans.

"Republican congresswoman wants to end VA healthcare, VA disability payments and the GI Bill for America's veterans. Can't wait till the vets in her district find out!" he said.

Democratic strategist Jesse Ferguson looked at how Democrats could exploit Boebert's speech for political gain.

"GOP wants to repeal the rescue plan and take back your $1,400 checks," Ferguson said.

"Lauren Boebert's restaurant received a $233,305 PPP check and she receives a $174,000 taxpayer-funded salary," podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen wrote.

"This is one step removed from promising to get the government's hands off of Medicare," said The Washington Post's Helaine Olen.

Georgetown Prof. Don Moynihan noted a 2011 poll showing that 70% of Tea Partiers did not want to cut Medicare.

"One thing that has proven true again and again is that people actually like and want the government benefits that they get," he wrote.

Chef Andrew Zimmern said, "Dangerous, uninformed, naive, … someone should show the congressperson who in her district uses fed benefits of all kinds."

MSNBC's Mehdi Hasan questioned if Boebert's plan would work.

So all the GOP-voting pensioners gonna hand back their Social Security and Medicare funds, right? RIGHT?

Well, stumbler and the despicables can spin Boebert's declaration all they want, but it does nicely expose one fundamental difference between a despicable and a deplorable.

Despicables favor large, expensive, inefficient government that infects every aspect of their lives. It takes all, and provides all.
Deplorables on the other hand favor the smallest possible government; one that concentrates on security and safety and lets Americans sort out their lives on their own.

Now, to be clear, despicables don't want an all invasive all controlling government as in 1984, but the basic premise is that government does a better job of running our lives than we can.

Deplorables favor a government that cares for those who cannot care for themselves, and for those who secure our safety and security, but the basic premise is that less government is good government.

The covid debacle is a great example, and social security is another.

Shooter has shown a couple of times in the past on this forum how, if we invested our own retirement money rather than being forced to put it in the government hands, we would retire with a nest egg much larger than we get through Social Security. And, we would control when we retire, how much we take, when we take it, and where we take it. Government would have little if anything to say about any of that. And, when we die anything left over would go into our estate, not government coffers.

    — Kelly Tshibaka (@KellyForAlaska) July 10, 2021
“We now move forward with a united front, determined to defend Alaska from the continued onslaught of the radical Biden administration,” wrote Tshibaka in a statement posted on her campaign website. “It is time for conservative leaders, with courage and common sense, to rise together across the nation. I am honored to be endorsed as that candidate for Alaska.”

last month, Former President Donald Trump shared a public endorsement supporting Kelly Tshibaka in her run against Murkowski.

RNC will not allow mainstream media to moderate GOP debates

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 5:52 PM PT – Monday, July 12, 2021

The Republican National Committee has refused establishment media from moderating GOP primary debates. During an interview on Monday, Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the RNC would not allow biased mainstream media figures to moderate 2024 Republican primary debates.

McDaniel added the RNC could request the Republican nominee for president not to participate in general election debates unless the Commission on Presidential Debates made some major changes. In June, McDaniel sent a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debate, which outlined these changes.

    upload_2021-7-13_4-35-3.png

“However, we have actually called on the Commission on Presidential Debates to have more transparency, to have term limits,” she explained. “We may encourage our candidate not to work with them if they do not make significant changes.”

McDaniel’s comments come as Republicans gear up for the 2022 midterms and begin to prepare early for the 2024 presidential race.

    UPDATED 7:05 PM PT – Tuesday, July 13, 2021

Jake Evans, former chairman of the Georgia Ethics Committee, has launched a congressional bid against Rep. Lucy McBath (D-Ga.). During an interview on Tuesday, Evans announced his run as an effort to fight back against the radical left who have wanted to “erase our culture, our values and our American identity.”

Invoking President Trump and former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, Evans vowed to be a strong conservative “trailblazer” in his campaign ad.

Evans went on to say, “that’s why just like President Trump and former Congressman Newt Gingrich, I’ll blaze a trail with bold conservative values and big ideas that gets us back on the right track.”

Evans stepped down as chairman for the Ethics Commission at the end of June in preparation for his House bid to challenge McBath. He asserted Americans needed lawmakers who would fight for constitutional rights rather than “political opportunism.”

Evans is joining a handful of other Republicans running in the Peach State’s 6th district, including former state Rep. Meagan Hanson and army veteran Harold Earls.

NRCC raises $45.4M in Q2, outpacing Democrat counterpart by nearly $9M

The National Republican Congressional Committee has raised over $45 million in its second quarter haul, outpacing its Democrat counterpart. The NRCC released the numbers on Wednesday with officials saying it marks the most amount raised for a quarter during an off-year in committee history.

In comparison, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee brought in around $37 million during the same period. “Every vulnerable House Democrat should be eyeing the exits because if they choose to run, they will lose,” said Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.).

NRCC Chairman Emmer, stated the haul would not have been possible without GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and the tens of thousands of generous donors. He added the haul shows Republicans are in a good position to take back the majority next fall.

Trump-Backed Widow of Late Congressman Loses Texas Runoff

The widow of a Texas congressman, who was endorsed by Donald Trump in the special election runoff for her husband’s seat, lost to a Republican state lawmaker in an upset. State Rep. Jake Ellzey will now succeed the late Rep. Ron Wright, a Republican who died in February after testing positive for COVID-19. His wife, Susan Wright, was considered the front-runner—and Trump endorsed her in the spring and again Monday night. Democrats, Republicans, and independents were able to vote in the runoff, and Ellzey had also expressed support for Trump, so the impact of the ex-president’s support was not clear-cut. However, The Wall Street Journal noted that Jacob Rubashkin, an analyst at Inside Elections, called the result “a reminder that Trump’s endorsement isn’t always a ticket to DC.”

Susan Wright and Ellzey came out on top of a May 1 special election that featured 21 other candidates. She finished first with 19% of the vote, while Ellzey got 14%.

The end results...GOP kept the seat.

'I'm embarrassed for Colorado': Hospital CEO in Lauren Boebert's district trashes her COVID response

In an interview aired on Thursday, CNN's Gary Tuchman spoke to Andy Daniels, the CEO of Memorial Regional Health in western Colorado and a self-described "super-conservative," about the attacks on science and public health by his congresswoman, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) — and Daniels had a few scathing things to say about her.

"How does it make you feel, the way Representative Boebert has treated this pandemic?" asked Tuchman. "The masks? The vaccine?"

"I am embarrassed for Colorado, quite frankly," said Daniels. "I am embarrassed that she is my representative."

"So, you are the CEO of an important hospital in her district, and you are willing to go out on a limb and say that?" asked Tuchman.

"I am," confirmed Daniels. "I think if you are going to take a stance in healthcare policy, you might actually want to learn something about healthcare policy."

Boebert has attacked President Joe Biden's proposal to send door-to-door volunteers to encourage vaccination, demanding the government not come to her door with the "Fauci Ouchie," and caused a stir this week for throwing a face mask at a congressional staffer who offered it to her on the floor.

Oh shit...I think I'm feeling over emotional and want to shed a tear over all this.

Curious tho...why didn't this fella in the video get his vaccination shot earlier this year?
