The same way I sleep every night: naked with a fan on

 

I've been diagnosed with " Intractable Insomnia" by expert docs in this field.
Over the last 35 years, the docs have tried everything to get me to sleep.
First it was obstructive sleep apnea which lead to a CPAP. That helped, but not much.
I've had so many sleep studies, MRI's exams, you name it.
My advise? One thing...stay away from Ambien for anything except 5 to 7 days of real non sleep.
That stuff works, but, never, never get caught in using it like I did....5 years straight!
It was the only med that would get me only 4 hours of sleep.
I've tried every med there is.

I've settled on Restoril and Lorazepam, along with ropinirole for RLS.

It's not perfect, but, like I said....I have it bad and have tried everything you can name.
It has gotten better as I got out of a very dangerous profession of 38 years, but I still have many sleepless nights.

Someone once advised that if you go longer than 4 to 5 days with NO sleep, you stand the chance of
a psychotic episode. I can attest to that happening.

One thing I was never able to try during my career and was talked into trying by my fabulous woman was THC/CPD gummies. One at around 2000, then one with the above meds at 2300.
It actually helps!!! I can't smoke due to an issue with my vocal cords, and I couldn't touch the stuff while working because I was subject to un announced polygraph. Not a problem now, and my state has finally made such thing legal.

And lastly, but off topic, my woman got me to try it to help with a little new problem of the in ability to climax, I think it might be helping.

Yea, I know there are plenty of meds and conditions that will harm a man's ability to climax and I'm, one by one, going through the list.

Had a terrible night’s sleep here too. Could not fall asleep until about 4 am.

 

Slept well. Got over 8 hrs of sleep. Time to start day.

 

The first part was ok, but then woke up around 4am and couldn't go back to sleep!!! I hate when that happens!!!

 

My sleep pattern got destroyed when I lost my job 4/13/21 and then my wife committed suicide 4/15. I’m pretty much upside down since then. I normally sleep between about 4 am and if I’m lucky 10 am. But it’s enough I don’t feel excessively tired. Maybe someday.
