Oh i know that it wasn't. When i have a bad day. I try to somehow turn things around in my mind. I can easily dwell on things. If i allow myself to.

 

Compared to what Subby had to deal with, mine was nothing compared to that. I am just glad I can go home and leave work at work.

We’ve been working at Truth and Reconciliation, but we’ve only scratched the surface.

Canada isn't the only country who has done something like this, but it's still awful. Our First Nations haven't fared very well here in America and the Aborigines in Australia have been slaughtered, too, and probably every country on earth has done the same thing and it's an ugly truth. We're just now hearing about the Black Wall Street Massacre that happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma 100 years ago. Never heard a word about it!! A white mob slaughtered several hundred black people...men, women and children...just because they were black and burned down a whole section of Tulsa.

Human nature can REALLY be shitty at times.

 

I didn't mean to imply the slain people burned down a whole section of Tulsa! The people who killed all the black people burned down a whole section of Tulsa that contained homes, businesses and everything of the ones they killed. They just wiped them out because they were black and nothing was ever done to bring justice until now.

 

That article left more holes than answers. First and very disturbing: the article said this went on from 1883 through 1996.
Just awful how humans treated one another.

That's hard! There may be support groups for spouses of cancer patients so you don't have to feel alone and we're here, too. Big hugs from me, too!!!

 

That's so scary. I hope you can find some support group or something like lioness mentioned. I think you're going to need it. He will need you and i know you will try to be strong for him. Many of us here can rally around you if you need to tlk, vent, just whatever.
