I had a good day for the most part. I’m vertical, I spent a few hours in the pool, the weather was great, dinner was really good and the cocktails eliminate the negative parts of the day. Not too shabby

 

2nd half of my day got better as a neighbor called me over for their gift to me to be gotten.

 

Thanks had a terrible sleep. Took the day off because I had someone coming in to fix a door. He’s already done so now I have the rest of the day to do what I want!

 

So busy at work and I’ve been fighting a headache all day. Just had a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner and I’m watching Emma.

 

Bleh... The company I work for is "right-sizing" their workforce. Found out this morning a close friend who's in their late 40's just got cut, he has a daughter that just started university this September. Only two ways to improve the bottom line, can't grow the top line over night, but you can cut expenses over night. It burns me, because my friend was one of those that tried very hard to be a good employee and did everything right. Always got good reviews from his boss, never bad mouthed the company, never took a minute more than his lunch hour. There was finally an opening in a department he wanted to join, he applied and was accepted. He got cut, because he was the last one that joined that department.

 

Work is so a madhouse. Came home and had groceries delivered. I’m making chill tomorrow in the slow cooker so it’ll be ready after my kid’s first football game in 2 years!! Super excited for him!

 

Wasn't half bad. Work went by fast and got home early

 

So far so good. Got laid, been stoned most of the day, and having tacos for dinner lol

 

Long work day, but it’s over now and getting better.

 

My sister who’s been vaccinated called me today to let me know that she has COVID. Suck day after that call

 

I had a great day yesterday! Left work early to see my kid play football! He was in a new position and he killed it! And when they were all in a huddle at halftime, he looked up and waved at me lol. They tied but would have won if they didn’t have 150 yards in penalties. Then we came back here and I had made chili in the slow cooker, with garlic and Parmesan bread. These are my favourite times.

 

Though a non productive day it was still good.

Stopped by grocery store to pick up a some things. Walked around block twice with cherrypup. Majority of day was sitting atound house. Kinda of fell asleep for about 40 mins (food made me drowsy).

 

It's Saturday - took a nice little walk down to my neighborhood Alta-Dena Express. It's not TOO hot - 85 degree high, so it's been pretty good all around. Happy, drinking, watching my news commentary, and posting - delighted to see so many people on here at this hour on a Saturday.

I'm good.

 

A great day - time with both kids - sex, sport - long walk - yep officially a BOOM day

Every day is kind of difficult. Watching over mom with my sibs..... It was back to work today, made it even harder.

 

I had a very productive day yesterday. That’s about all I can say lol
