This is eerily like the claims that the FBI and CIA had warned President Bush that Al Qaeda was planning something before 9/11.
The difference is, deplorables are not claiming it as the basis to attack biden/harris or the capitol police.
Deplorables, you see, do believe in law and order.

As lawmakers were evacuated during the Jan. 6 insurrection, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) screamed, “You have caused this!” at Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), according to a Washington Post profile of Hawley. The Post chronicled Hawley’s rise, with former allies expressing shock at his transformation from potential conservative reformer to election fraud-pushing demagogue. Ex-Missouri Sen. John Danforth said he felt “responsible for Josh Hawley being in the Senate” and encouraging Hawley to run for office was the “greatest mistake” of his life. An undergrad advisor at Stanford said he was “deeply disturbed” by his former student’s role in the insurrection. The Post’s profile described Hawley—who raised a supportive fist to Jan. 6 protesters in a now infamous photo—as the “face of a movement built on the lie that the 2020 election was fraudulent.”

Trump Defense Sec. to Testify He Was Concerned Sending Troops to Capitol Riot Would Give Appearance of a ‘Military Coup’

Congressional hearings on the Capitol riots have continued this week, and on Wednesday the House Oversight Committee will hear from Christopher Miller, who was the acting Secretary of Defense on January 6th.

Back in March, Miller publicly said, “The question is would anybody have marched on the Capitol, and overrun the Capitol, without the president’s speech? I think it’s pretty much definitive that wouldn’t have happened.”

Miller is one of several officials testifying Wednesday on why there was a delayed response to the mob of Trump supporters that stormed the Capitol.

His prepared testimony, obtained by CNN, reads that he was concerned sending troops to the Capitol would have given the appearance of a “military coup”:

“My concerns regarding the appropriate and limited use of the military in domestic matters were heightened by commentary in the media about the possibility of a military coup or that advisors to the President were advocating the declaration of martial law,” his prepared testimony for the House Oversight Committee states.

“I was also cognizant of the fears promulgated by many about the prior use of the military in the June 2020 response to protests near the White House and fears that the President would invoke the Insurrection Act to politicize the military in an anti-democratic manner,” Miller’s prepared remarks add.

The committee will also hear from then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, and according to Politico, he is going to say “that he believes that the Department of Justice had adequately prepared for the contingencies ahead of Jan. 6.”

So, without the appearance of a military coup, what are we left with?
      A 4 hour riot.

There are two types of power. One is Truth and the other is Ignorance. God means all knowing or infinite knowledge and wisdom. Then there is ignorance, and means Satan, Devil, Narcissism. In the Bible it was called Hubris. All people are limited to our 5 senses and that's it. Let's take Einstein's E=MC^2, Einstein theorized nothing traveled faster than light. A theory is nothing more than a guess. Science is nothing more than a guess. Guesses will always turn out to be a lie. Einstein's lie about light is wrong. Tachyons travel faster than light showing that E=MC^2 is invalid. It took Einstein 10 years to create E=MC^2. Tachyons are still a guess and at some point in history it will show it to be a lie. I use Einstein's ask questions and you can never stop questioning. Richard Feynman and his technique on explaining it to a five-year-old. Politics are nothing more than guessing, and are lies. We the People have the right to fight for the truth that the Bill of Rights guaranteed to We the People. James Madison predicted a second American Revolution to criminally charge any public employee. This is what happened in Washington D.C. The American Revolution was a war against ignorance. The Declaration of Independence guaranteed that the truth would always prevail, not the stupidity of man. All you have to do is study the Magna Carta part of our Charters of Freedom. The truth is an unalienable right can never be taken away or limited in any way. These to words are key, Treachery and Tyranny and the path to the Magna Carty. Study and research these two words.

Former Trump official blasts 'unwise' GOP for propping up 2020 election lies

Former Trump official Alyssa Farah tells CNN the president was 'directly responsible' for Capitol riots (screenshot)

Former Trump White House communications director Alyssa Farah on Wednesday blasted her party for continuing to relitigate the 2020 presidential election by moving to oust Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY).

Farah, who directly blamed her former boss for inciting the January 6th MAGA mob at the United States Capitol building, told CNN's John Berman that she's baffled by the GOP's current strategy.

"This is just a strategically unwise move by the Republican Party," she said. "When you lose an election, the last thing you should do is look back on the election and repeatedly relitigate it. The last thing we should be talking about is the election the Republicans lost. We should be focusing on the midterms and what the Republican Party is for."

Farah said that the party did not need to rev up its base with lies about the stolen election, as such arguments would repel the swing voters it needs to retake control of Congress next year.

"Republicans are not going to win back the house by winning Marjorie Taylor Greene's or Matt Gaetz's districts," she said. "They're going to win by moderate D-1 and D-2 districts and swing Democrats. They don't do this by carrying on the myth that the election was stolen."

The United States was turned back into a dictatorship during the Constitutional Convention. With what I see is that they want a totalitarian system.

    Oh. Ok.
Well, uh, in case you hadn't been told, President Trump left 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue (THE WHITE HOUSE) on January 20,2021.

by the way. Do you suppose the BLM folks and/or the cancel culture folks are going to take up the issue of the nations home being called THE WHITE HOUSE anytime soon?

After 30 years of research I will never believe what any person on earth says, thinks or does. It is all lies period. If a car company made 20 thousand cars all the same make, color and so on. Not one would be identical to another. If you start measuring using electrons as the measuring tool, not currently possible. Can anyone see air, air has electrons all around, micro physics. What she states can not be true yet a narcissist knows it to be true. In order for something to be true every person around the world would have to agree. Just means truth and the suffix ice means state and quality. Everyone in the world would agree the earth is round, except a narcissist. This was called Hubris in the Bible. When churches stated that the earth was flat and they punished anyone that stood up and said otherwise. What types of torture did they use against people who said the earth was round. They tortured Jesus for telling the truth! It is because of stupidity like this that caused the riots. People want the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Damning timeline details DOD actions before and during the Capitol riot — and it raises more question than answers

Protesters storm the Capitol and halt a joint session of the 117th Congress on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C.. - Kent Nishimura/Los Angeles Times/TNS

Four months after a violent mob of far-right extremists attacked the U.S. Capitol Building in the hope of stopping Congress from certifying now-President Joe Biden's Electoral College victory, many Americans continue to ask: Why was this allowed to happen — and why weren't the extremists prevented from entering the Capitol? Just Security reporters Kate Brannen and Ryan Goodman, in an article published on May 11, offer a timeline of U.S. Department of Defense actions on and before January 6. The Just Security timeline is based, in part, on the DoD timeline released on January 8.

"In advance of Wednesday's congressional hearing on 'unexplained delays and unanswered questions' pertaining to the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol," Brannen and Goodman write, "we are revisiting the day's events, focusing closely on the Defense Department's actions. Central to this exercise is the timeline DoD released on January 8, which was intended to 'memorialize the planning and execution efforts' taken by the Pentagon in response to the violence unfolding three miles away."

Brannen, Just Security's editorial director, and Goodman (a U.S. Department of Defense alumni) note that "one of the consequential conversations not included by DoD in its public timeline took place just after rioters had penetrated the scaffolding around the Capitol and were making their way into the Building."

According to the Just Security reporters, "During the phone call, U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund pleaded with senior Army leaders for help. According to the testimony of at least three people on the call, Army leaders did not respond to those pleas with immediate support or affirmation. Instead, they raised concerns about how it would look to have members of the National Guard on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, as well as concerns that the presence of the Guard could inflame the rioters."

Brannen and Goodman also note the concerns of Maj. Gen. William Walker, commander of the D.C. National Guard — who, they point out, "specifically told Congress that he didn't receive approval to deploy his troops until three hours and 19 minutes after he first shared Sund's frantic request for backup with the Army."

"Questions remain about why Defense Department leaders didn't move faster — why they constrained Walker's authorities in the days leading up to January 6, why they weren't in better communication with the people who needed to speak with them that day, and why they weren't more forthcoming about the conversations they had and the decisions they made," Brannen and Goodman explain. "Real mistakes were made, and they are worth congressional and public scrutiny."

The timeline that Brannen and Goodman provide starts on December 31, 2020 and ends on January 7, 2021. Before the January 6 attack, officials in Washington, D.C. feared the possibility of violence — and the timeline notes that on New Year's Eve, Democratic Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Christopher Rodriguez, the D.C. director of Homeland Security and the Emergency Management Agency, delivered a "written request for D.C. National Guard support to D.C. Metro Police Department (MPD) and Fire and Emergency Service." And on New Year's Day, Walker — according to his testimony — sent "a letter to Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy requesting approval for the mayor's request."

Then, on January 2, Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller discussed Bowser's request with Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and U.S. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy. And on January 4, according to Brannen and Goodman, the Defense Department confirmed "with U.S. Capitol Police that there" was "no request for DoD support."

On January 5, according to the timeline, Bowser addressed her security concerns in a letter to then-Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen — and it was also on January 5 that the FBI field office in Norfolk issued a warning that extremists were planning to visit Washington, D.C. and commit acts of violence the following day.

The timeline ends with elaborate details of the events of January 6-7, from then-President Donald Trump's Stop the Steal Rally and the Capitol assault to then-Vice President Mike Pence certifying Biden as U.S. president-elect.

WATCH: Ex-AG Repeatedly REFUSE to Say Whether Trump Asked Him to Overturn Election Under Oath

Former Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen repeatedly refused to say whether then-President Donald Trump asked him to assist in overturning the 2020election results, but moments later was willing to rule out other subjects from his private discussions with Trump.

At Wednesday’s House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing on the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, Democratic Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly pressed Rosen about his communications with Trump prior to the insurrection.

“Prior to January 6th, were you asked or instructed by President Trump to take any action at the Department to advance election fraud claims or to seek to overturn any part of the 2020 election results?” Connolly asked.

“Well congressman, as I just alluded to in your prior question, I can tell you what the actions of the department were,” Rosen said as Connolly objected, and added that he could not testify “about private conversations with the president one way or the other.”

“We had an unprecedented insurrection that led to seven deaths. Five years and two suicides, and you are saying that this is a privileged communication?” Connolly said.

“I’m saying that my responsibility is to tell you about the role of the department of justice…” Rosen began, as Connolly angrily cut him off.

“No sir, your responsibility is to be accountable to the American people and this Congress,” Connolly said. “I can’t imagine a more critical question. Did you have conversations prior to January 6th with the president of the United States urging you to question or overturn or challenge the election results in 2020? It’s a simple question.”

    Rosen again refused to answer.

But seconds later, Rosen demonstrated a willingness to rule out subject matter from his private discussions with Trump when Connolly asked him “Did you meet with the president at the White House on January 3rd?”

    “I did,” Rosen said.

“You did. But you declined you decline to tell us what the nature of that conversation was about, is that correct?” Connolly asked.

“I can tell you it did not relate to the planning and preparations for the events of January 6th,” Rosen volunteered.

“Can you tell us whether if any aspect involved the discussion about the election itself?” Connolly asked once again.

“I’m sorry, congressman, again respectfully, I don’t think it’s my role here today to discuss communications with the president in the Oval Office or the White House without authorization to do that,” Rosen replied.

Cheney: Trump Must Be ‘Investigated Criminally’ Over MAGA Capitol Riot

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has been putting her new-found freedom to good use since she was forcibly removed from her House Republican leadership position on Wednesday morning. Right after her removal by Trump loyalists, Cheney told reporters that she intends to do everything in her power to prevent the former president from returning to the White House. Now she’s gone a step further, and told NBC News that Trump must face a criminal investigation into his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Speaking on the Today show on Thursday morning, Cheney said “the American people have to know” what happened on Jan. 6, and added: “Certainly, any president who did what we know this former president did has got to be investigated criminally.” Elsewhere in the interview, Cheney repeatedly dodged questions on whether she intended to run for president in 2024, and, when asked about a potential Trumpist primary challenge against her next year, simply responded: “Bring it on.”

This is not working. In fact its backfiring. It actually highlights conservative/Republican treason when they try to create a delusional image of the violent insurrection and attempted coup in the face of thousands of hours of video tape.

Republicans recasting rioters as victims as they create an ‘alternate history’ of Trump’s insurrection

    Rioters January 6th (AFP)

On Thursday, writing for MSNBC, columnist Steve Benen tore into Republican lawmakers for their increasing denial that the violent January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol even happened the way everyone saw it.

"The setting was a House Oversight Committee hearing on the Jan. 6 riot, which some Republicans took as an opportunity to characterize rioters as victims," wrote Benen. "Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.), for example, rejected the idea that the insurrectionist violence constituted 'an insurrection,' adding that Trump's rabid mob behaved 'in an orderly fashion.' The Georgia Republican went on to say, 'f you didn't know that TV footage was a video from January the 6th, you would actually think it was a normal tourist visit.' Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) blasted the Justice Department for 'harassing' suspected rioters, whom he described as 'peaceful patriots.' Rep. Jody Hice (R-Ga.) added, 'It was Trump supporters who lost their lives that day, not Trump supporters who were taking the lives of others.'"

"It was every bit as surreal as it sounds," wrote Benen. "For these far-right Republicans, now is the time to write an entirely new alternate history about the events of Jan. 6, with the villains recast as the heroes. The facts make pro-Trump forces look like dangerous criminals, so Clyde, Gosar, and their cohorts have decided to pretend their fiction is real."

The denial comes after some of these lawmakers, like Gosar, actively participated in the "Stop the Steal" rally that fed the riot.

"Part of what makes this so extraordinary is the audacity. The world saw the riot on television. Trump's recent impeachment trial added additional documentary evidence that had not previously been released, and reinforced the severity of the assault on the United States," wrote Benen. "We've arrived at a point in which our political discourse is so toxic, GOP members of Congress are entirely comfortable telling Americans not to believe their lying eyes. These elected officials fully expect to get away with brazenly lying about events — not from generations past, but from four months ago — confident that their allies will simply believe what they're told to believe."
