    Biden’s people are correct in not holding a mass gathering at his inauguration, it would fly in the face of the advise of valid health concerns. I’m not so delusional to think that it would not be well attended if there was no pandemic to be considered.

    One of the most glaring mistakes Trump and many of his supporters made was to ignore sound advise and go ahead with gatherings that were clearly ill advised. It’s one thing to claim the social distancing and mask wearing was overblown as being opposition tactics. It’s totally another thing to wantonly ignore the scientific and medical communities call for safeguards.

    During the campaign Trump could raise many thousands of enthusiastic fans almost at will.

    Bidens crowds, not so much. 10, maybe 15 and for the most part they snoozed.

    On January 6 President Trump roused a crowd of maybe half a million.

    Now, if Biden can't match that on January 20 that would be embarrassing, wouldn't it?

    Naw. Better just to surrender the field with plausible deniability.
