Since there were so many interesting dreams posted in the strange dreams thread, I thought it would be good to have one for any kind of dreams we want to mention.

I had an interesting one the other night. I was scuba diving, and Richard Simmons came down to the bottom of the ocean to get me to exercise with him in the middle of my dive.

I'm not sure if I dreamed that because I was diving on a day I am usually in the gym, or if it was because I noticed I need to work on my stamina more when the swim out to the drop point was a struggle.

My dreams rarely seem to be very symbolic and tend to be more literal and goofy.

 

I dreamed I was part of the team from Strike Back while also being in some 1970s type of employee party on a double decker party bus or an airplane or something and there was also a couple from a TV show I can't remember now present in part of the dream. The party was definitely crazy, with coke and booze and sex all over, but was also being held hostage by terrorists.

Maybe I was supposed to infiltrate the party to stop the hostages from being killed? I have no fucking clue.

There are more aspects to the dream I can't remember.

 

I was kissing someone. That was it.

 

The dream actually happened early this morning... I just couldn’t fall asleep last night, which probably had something to do with the kooky dream!

I was sitting in my favorite chair with a book when our daughter entered the room, wearing a party dress but her hair was a mess and she was wearing really dirty slippers. She asked me if the book would tell us how to do something with her hair. I looked at the title to see that it was a book about architecture. I told her to go change the dress and we would go build a house in Finland.

She started to cry because her boyfriend would be waiting for her at the party. I told her to call him and have him meet us at the airport.

When we got to the airport, her boyfriend was being arrested because he did not have a passport and because he had packed lots of sharp tools. There was an "agent" telling the other TSA folks... "Good job, people... Finland says they don’t need any more houses".

My long-dead great-aunt appeared and was upset that I had left the house without wearing a hat and white gloves, and that my daughter was wearing filthy slippers. She told me that I should teach my daughter how to clean her belongings or teach her to clean other people’s houses so she could earn enough money to buy new slippers. My daughter told her to go back to her grave and mind her own business.

My husband showed up at the airport in a Thomas The Tank Engine costume, saying I had to hurry home to sign for a package. When we got home the delivery guy was patiently waiting there and I signed for a large envelope which contained tickets for a game show. My whole family went, I played the game, and won tickets for dinner for four at a restaurant in a different state. One of our sons was upset because we’re a family of five, but our other son said “No problem... I’ll stay home and eat licorice".

 

Shooter dreamed he was in Italy but had been separated from his family.
Shooter doesn't speak Italian.
But he loves pizza.

 

Last night I dreamed I was in a big hall with people like this making funny comments about what could only be seen as bits and pieces of what was going on next door. Then suddenly I was next door about to have an operation, but my mouth was so dry I couldn't tell the commentators to stop.
When I woke up the dream faded and I forgot it, until someone made a remark and the dream came flooding back. I've hear that if something happens to break the dream (i.e make your remember) then that is lucky.

 

I see dreams very ofte, I close my eyes and movie begins, but forget most of them, sometimes if I wake up to go out, I try not to forget me dreams. And in the morning I repeat it in my memory.

 

Last night I had the strangest dream
I sailed away to China
In a little rowboat to find you
And you said you had to get your laundry cleaned
Didn't want no one to hold you
What does that mean?

 

Last nights dream was. I was loading my truck for a job. It was the middle of the night . My good neighbors would come out and throw stuff at me to shut up. After I dive for safety I look up and they have no heads.

I was at Grand canyon last year and purchased two dream catchers. I have one on each side of the bed, and ever since hanging them I no longer dream.

 

Worst thing to see in a dream is a wedding,

 

Do you ever have falling dreams? I've read that if you ever land it'll kill you! Cheery thought!

 

If landing kills you then where does the empirical evidence come from Annie?

Last night I had a dream that I was swimming in an ocean of orange soda. I guess it was just a Fanta sea!

I was in bigs longer montane cold snow looking for pleace to be warm I than my foot hurt long distance at I feel warm on my body but the strongest come to give me water with apple in end I find my self it's morning cats slog my head

 

I usually dont remember my dreams at all, so I guess Im missing out. I did have a vivid dream several months ago that stuck with me. I was driving down a road at night, other people were in the car with me, but I cant remember who they were.
Suddenly the road collapsed in from of me and the car started nose diving in the abyss when the brightest light I ever saw appeared below / in front of me. It was white and as bright as the sun, so much so that it work me up and I sat up in the bed, somewhat shaken. It was very vivid but dont know what it meant.

 

I dreamt about the characters I have read in a novel. Fun thing was, I dreamt I was one of the main characters. She was meeting a guy from Canada where they had dinner and visited some art galleries. Then I woke.

I have been day dreaming of the events of the novel maybe that’s why it showed up in my dreams.

 

This is really tough for me. I very rarely remember my dreams, I almost never dream about people I know, and of the dreams I do remember, I’m not usually a participant. It’s more a narrative happening that I’m witness to.

Having said that, last night Georgia woke me up out of a sound sleep having to go out, and I had actively been dreaming just then. As I crawled out of bed I made a mental note to ‘remember that for Dee’ and planned to post about it, but alas, it was gone this morning. :/
