Interesting that despicables are so obsessed with deplorable party politics; you know, who's in, who is out, why, when, where .................
Logic would say they'd be dealing with their own party politics. More drama there anyway.

Lawmaker’s post featuring Rep Ilhan Omar draws violent responses
Republican congressman’s post about Omar, seemingly about her Palestine support, said she supports ‘terror’.

    20 May 2021
North Carolina Representative Madison Cawthorn is drawing ire for violent responses to a social media post featuring Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar that said she supports “terror”.

The post, which was made on the encrypted messaging app Telegram on May 15, appears to reference support for Palestinians under Israeli occupation expressed by Omar and other members of the progressive “Squad,” including Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib, whose family comes from Palestine.

Friend of pro-Trump congressman pleads guilty to sex traffickingNew York state investigation into Trump Organization now criminalIs France legalising Islamophobia?

“Far-left Democrats have chosen terrorism over tolerant freedom,” Cawthorn wrote in the post. “The Muslim Brotherhood is a purveyor of terror. Democrats are on the wrong side of history and it’s not even an argument.”

The post, which linked to an article featuring Omar, who was born in Somalia and went to the United States as a refugee, drew responses calling to put a “noose” on the Minnesota representative, according to the Asheville Citizen Times.

The post appears to have been since deleted.

Cawthorn, a Republican, is a stalwart supporter of former President Donald Trump. Many of Trump’s supporters have taken to encrypted chat apps like Telegram following Trump’s removal from Twitter, Facebook and other social media.

Cawthorn’s channel on Telegram was opened in February, a month after the January 6 storming of the US Capitol in an attempt to stop a joint session of Congress from certifying President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.

Telegram moderators did not respond to questions by the Asheville Citizen Times on their policies for removing posts.

Trump faced consistent criticism of Islamophobia over his term. One of his first acts was to issue an administrative order that came to be known as the “Muslim ban”, which blocked people from six predominately Muslim nations from travelling to the US. Many of his allies have faced similar accusations.

In April, House Democrats passed a bill preventing another “Muslim ban” from being enacted, making travel bans based on religion illegal.

'Highway robbery': Madison Cawthorn raises suspicions by paying inexperienced buddy $127,111 as top staffer

    Madison Cawthorn (screengrab)

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) appears to be overpaying an underqualified friend to serve on his congressional staff.

Quarterly disbursement statements show Cawthorn's chief of staff William "Blake" Harp made $31,777.77 in the first quarter of the year, the equivalent of $127,111 annually, despite having no background in government and not much other work experience besides running fireworks stands, reported the Citizen Times.

"One hundred twenty-seven thousand dollars is not exorbitant for a chief," said another Republican legislative staff member. "It's highway robbery for anyone for whom it's their first real job and they bring no discernible skills."

Harp and Cawthorn have known each other since at least 2016, when they were both around 20 years old, and neither has any experience in government until Cawthorn became the youngest member of Congress with his election in November.

"At one level, the Cawthorn chief of staff pay is on the low side for the position," said ethics expert Norman Orstein. "But the vast majority of chiefs have a lot of experience, usually on the Hill, sometimes running campaigns. This one does not fit any usual category, and looks quite suspicious."

    Oh, really?

Looky what Nancy Antoinette has been up to.
FBI Quietly Releases Documents That Reveal Nancy Pelosi’s Family Ties to Communists - (bencarsonteam.club)

The files reveal the results of an intense two-month investigation into Thomas D’Alesandro, Jr., a Maryland politician who served in a long career as a member of Congress and mayor of Baltimore.

John F. Kennedy’s White House ordered the investigation after JFK planned to appoint D’Alesandro to a government post. A routine FBI name check revealed “allegations” against D’Alessandro, according to a Feb. 6, 1961 teletype from “FBI Director.” The director at the time was J. Edgar Hoover.

The “urgent” teletype seemed to signal the goal of ensuring that D’Alesandro would be appointed to a government watchdog board that reviewed defense contracts.

“The White House has requested that we proceed with a special inquiry investigation but that if substantial derogatory information were developed, we should report this and discontinue any further inquiries because substantiation of any of the allegations would eliminate Mr. D’Alesandro,” the FBI director wrote in the teletype that is located on page 19 of the trove.

“Assign immediately,” Hoover wrote, instructing the Baltimore and Washington field offices to “afford continuous attention” to the investigation.

In sometimes illegible and heavily redacted reproductions, the 248-page collection shows that FBI agents were tasked with running down rumors and facts surrounding their man.

“There have been allegations that D’Alesandro has associated with the Baltimore criminal element and [redacted] and the son, Franklin Roosevelt D’Alesandro, had been arrested for rape,” an agent wrote on page 14 of the trove. The allegations may have been rumor, the agent noted.

Elsewhere in the trove, agents wrote about the son, who was arrested and acquitted on charges that saw others convicted of raping two young girls, aged 11 and 13. The young D’Alesandro, who died in 2007, also was tried and acquitted of perjury in relation to that case.

In the 1961 inquiry into the senior D’Alesandro, the G-men delved decades into their subject’s past.

“In 1945 it was alleged that one Charles F. Cammarata had been able to get away with all sorts of criminal activities in Baltimore, Maryland, and had operated almost unmolested due to his friendship with and the protection of Congressman D’Alesandro,” one unnamed agent wrote in a Jan. 30, 1961 memo to the White House.

In the same memo, which begins on page 38 of the collection, the agent summarizes allegations that a powerful D’Alesandro took payoffs from applicants to the police force, and that he helped to hinder the investigation and prosecution of crimes.

Elsewhere, the memo cites a “confidential source, who has furnished reliable information in the past,” reporting that D’Alesandro appeared onstage at a 1943 rally for the National Council of American-Soviet Friendship, which was formed in 1943 by the Coummunist Party USA as a Soviet front group, according to the FBI.

The following year, the memo notes, D’Alesandro was reported as the main speaker at an event for the International Workers Order, an insurance organization placed on a list of subversive organizations by the U.S. attorney general in 1947 and later disbanded by order of the New York State Insurance Department for being too closely aligned with the Communist Party, in violation of regulations prohibiting political activity in the industry.

Becker News added these details about Pelosi’s own Communist sympathies:

“Pelosi” author Molly Ball, in an NPR interview on “Understanding Nancy Pelosi,” only gives half the story about the future Speaker’s Baltimore roots:

One of her mentors earlier in her career, Jack Murtha, used to say about her, don’t think she’s from San Francisco. She’s from Baltimore. And that’s both literally true and true in a deeper sense, right? Her father was a congressman from Baltimore and then became the mayor of Baltimore. He came out of the machine politics of Baltimore, a Democratic city. She was born in 1940, when her father was already in Congress. So literally from the day she was born, she was part of this very Catholic, very Democratic, very Italian family that was involved in the political life of the city and the nation.

And that machine politics, as you know from Philadelphia, was very much about the sort of tribes and factions of the city. The different ethnicities all had their own little neighborhoods, and they all had a sort of boss who could deliver their votes, often in exchange for something. So when you see the kind of deal-maker that Nancy Pelosi is, when you see the kind of negotiating that she does on Capitol Hill, I think a lot of it does trace back to her roots in Baltimore.

It appears that the environment that molded Pelosi’s drive for power was one part radicalism and one part machine politics. It makes perfect sense.

Speaker Pelosi herself has taken positions indicating her sympathy for Communists. In the 1980s, she lionized an open socialist named Vivian Hallinan, even calling her a “role model.” Cliff Kincaid noted in a 2009 story:

If he was a despicable and deplorables went after him like this, despicables would be twirling and peeing that Cawthorn was being targeted because he's in a wheel chair.

If deplorables sank to that level despicables would be twirling and peeing that a handicap is no basis for a defense.

    That's how despicable logic works.

Republican Madison Cawthorn upholds Viet Cong militants as Second Amendment heroes

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) had an awkward moment with a Newsmax host Wednesday evening when discussing why AR-15s and military weapons should continue to be legal for anyone to use.

Cawthorn tried to argue that assault rifles are necessary to protect America against the federal government, which he works for.

"If anybody ever wants to say 'oh, well you know what, citizens with a few small arms fire would never be able to stop the federal government' - I absolutely disagree. Ask the Viet Cong how they handled the Marines and the Army in Vietnam," said Cawthorn.

The Viet Cong had a military force that fought the United States during the war. The United States lost the war against them.

One person resurrected a video of Fidel Castro similarly singing the praises of the Viet Cong.

Some went on to question if Cawthron was attempting to label the Democrats as Communists and Viet Cong as the real Americans.

Cawthorn is absolutely correct when he says an armed America is to protect us from our government. It's the whole reason for the 2nd amendment.

And it's why zealots like stumbler want a disarmed America.

Take special note how treasonous conservative/Republicans rush to back up Cawthorn's lies against the United States of America and especial the United States Marine Corp. You try to tell just about any Marine that was in Vietnam that the Viet Cong kicked their asses and it will probably be you that gets the ass kicking instead because they are still that bitter and angry about it. They will tell you they could have killed every Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese army as well if only they had been allowed to actually fight. But instead they were stuck in a political police action with their hands tied and could basically only shoot if they got shot at. The United States Armed forces could have started at the southern tip of Vietnam and fought there way all the way to the Chines border and won a war in a year or two. But instead they weren't allowed to fight a war. Which is one of the most bitter things for Vietnam veterans to this day.

And as far as traitor talk that with the second amendment treasonous conservative/Republicans can rebel against their own government years ago Kimiko said it best. "Let's see here. We are talking jets, bombs, rockets, grenade launchers, machine guns (and now predictor drones) versus rifles and handguns. What's wrong with this picture"?

And if you don't think the US military will stand up to a revolt by Americans you don't know shit about the history of the United States of America.

We need to remember that it was Johnson and his bean counter McNamara who so totally fucked up the war and not only guaranteed south Vietnam would be overrun, but were responsible for countless unnecessary deaths on all sides.

The lesson learned was that the politicians decide who and when the fighting takes place, but let the experts decide how to break shit and kill people to achieve the political goal.

And the military will fight revolutionaries, but never support tyrants.

Despite stumblers propaganda to the contrary, there is a difference.

    1. ImDown6969
Um.... much as I love and respect a man, actually Eisenhower probably lied to Congress about this action also. This was purely hey proxy war with China with kid gloves as to not get Chyna involved. And of course to make a boatload of money at the expense of American blood. Like HW sending American use to liberate Kuwait, and Dubya And his war crime against humanity only rivaled by Hitler in the entire Middle East. It was wrong in every way shape or fashion from inception to finish. Never should’ve happened. Diplomacy and policy and the only way to improve the world, unless you’re going to convince everyone that we should just be able to kill stupid people immediately upon confirmation of stupidity. Which would be great, don’t get me wrong. Actually join the rest of the life forms on the planet, evolve. Devolution sucks.

You politik, or you war. You don’t politically war. FFS Cesar had known this his whole life, but finally, Rome became so full of treasonous insurrectional office holders, he had to cross the Rubicon with a legion. Cost him his life eventually. We’re not only repeating history , because as they say, we don’t know it, we are condensing it to a much faster pace of “society degrades” as Socrates so aptly put millennia ago.

Republican roasted for making huge mistake — while lecturing Democrats about ‘facts’

    Screengrab.

A Republican from North Carolina was ridiculed on Monday after making a hilarious blunder while attempting to lecture Democrats about facts.

Rep. Madison Cawthorne (R-NC) was homeschooled as a child and then attended a single semester of college, during which he "earned mostly D's." On Thursday, Cawthorne demonstrated his intelligence during a speech on the House floor about facts.

"It was Thomas Jefferson that said 'Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.' Let's cast our eyes over the facts, shall we," he said.

The quote that Cawthorne misattributed to Jefferson is actually a famous quote by John Adams.

Here's some of what people were saying about Cawthorne and stubborn facts:

    Charles Johnson
    @Green_Footballs

That wasn’t Thomas Jefferson, it was John Adams. What an ignorant posturing jackweasel.
