While in the Marines, I've deployed to 3 of them, even though they are Army Forts, Marines train at them. Operations at Bragg, and Pickett, 2 week school at Gordon. We ran the Army's dicks into the dirt during PT at Gordon. I was only there TAD from the Fleet for a school. The Marine barracks there was really squared away and having an IG at the time. Mostly noobs attending MP school. They weren't used to a salty jarhead Corporal like me, most of them were E-2 , E3, and the First Shirt couldn't even read. They were pissed off that I had left most of my uniforms back at Lejuene, and threatened to make me get all new uniforms to stand the IG. ( I left them all back there so I wouldn't get sucked into doing shit like that ) One day in formation some SSGT or Gunny, was inspecting us and asked why my name was spray painted on the back of my Cammie blouse. Being a bit of a smartass, I said " well, "In the Fleet" when we go on Ship we mark our uniforms like that so ships laundry knows whose shit it is." Well that embarrased him, made him look stupid in front of the lower ranks, as if he should have known that. He chews me out some to try and save face, and says he has been in "The Fleet" for x years and blah blah blah. Wrote me up for insubordination and I had to see the Company gunny, they threw it out though, because this other SSGT who was there for the same reason I was, stepped in, and told them there was no reason for them to try and make an example out of me because I wasn't there for MP training like the rest. That I was there to learn a piece of Comm gear and go back to my Unit.

 

Well folks US led coalition made an air strike in Syria launched over 60 tomogawks. 40 of them were succesfully landed without explosion by Russian electronic warfare . So US tax payers lost over 50 million dollars. And gave us a chance to examine them.
