Rudy Giuliani Wants ‘Trial by Combat’ Over 2020 Election Results

Trump personal attorney Rudy Giuliani kicked off his speech at Wednesday’s “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C. by telling thousands of fired-up pro-Trump protesters that they should contest the election results via “trial by combat.”

Just ahead of President Donald Trump’s appearance at the election conspiracy gathering, the former New York City mayor spun his baseless claims about corrupt voting software flipping Trump votes to President-elect Joe Biden before issuing his deranged, medieval-era challenge.

“So over the next ten days, we get to see the machines that are crooked, the ballots that are fraudulent. And if we are wrong we will be made fools of. But if we are right, a lot of them will go to jail,” Giuliani said to loud cheers. “So let’s have trial by combat! I’m willing to stake my reputation, the president is willing to stake his reputation on the fact that we’re going to find criminality there.”

Trump and his allies have lost scores of lawsuits challenging the election results in state and federal courts and state election officials have roundly debunked Team Trump’s allegations of widespread voter fraud. Furthermore, lawyers for Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems have warned Giuliani to expect legal action over his unfounded and false claims about the companies.

Self-Described White Nationalist Who Posed At Pelosi’s Desk Said He’s Ready for Violent Death

The man who posed at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk during Wednesday’s insurrection at the U.S. Capitol is a self-described white nationalist who wrote on Facebook that he was prepared to * die a violent death, The Washington Post reports. Richard Barnett, 60, of Arkansas, confirmed his identity to a New York Times reporter. On one Facebook account, named “George Reincarnated Patton” after the World War II general, Barnett wrote that he “came into this world kicking and screaming, covered in someone else’s blood” and was “not afraid to go out the same way,” accompanied by a picture of him wearing a Blue Lives Matter shirt and toting a rifle, per the Post. “I am white. There is no denying that. I am a nationalist. I put my nation first. So that makes me a white nationalist,” he wrote in a separate post.

However, Ocasio-Cortez immediately confronted him with a screenshot of a text message sent out by Cruz's office boasting he was "leading the fight to reject electors" — over two hours after the Capitol was breached.

Cruz, for his part, maintains that this text message was scheduled ahead of time and he ordered his fundraising team to suspend operations later that day — however, at no point did he apologize for his office putting out a message that, even unintentionally, could embolden the perpetrators of an insurrection.

This is something else just beyond belief. Pence told Trump the truth. He could not under the Constitution and federal law just throw out electors and make him a dictator. And so Trump didn't just throw Pence under the bus. He told is terrorists it was all Pence's fault they were stealing the election for him setting him up for assassination.

Some of President Donald Trump's supporters apparently intended to kidnap Vice President Mike Pence and execute him if he didn't overturn their election loss.

The president's supporters stormed into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, as Pence presided over the congressional certification of Joe Biden's election win, and video captured some of them threatening to execute the vice president -- who Trump had singled out in a speech just minutes before they burst into the building.

"Hang Mike Pence, hang Mike Pence," the crowd chanted as alarms sounded after the mob broke into the Capitol.

Photographs show some rioters carrying flex cuffs used as restraints by law enforcement and a gallows set up outside the Capitol, and the vice president was taken to safety, along with lawmakers, congressional staffers and reporters, after the president's supporters broke in.

"I heard at least 3 different rioters at the Capitol say that they hoped to find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor," reported Reuters photographer Jim Bourg. "It was a common line being repeated. Many more were just talking about how the VP should be executed."

Capitol Hill reporter Andrew Feinberg said the rioters were looking for Pence, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- whose office was ransacked by the president's supporters.

Trump had falsely claimed to supporters ahead of the march that Pence had the "absolute right" under the U.S. Constitution to throw out election results for Biden, and the president pressured his running mate to take action -- which the vice president said he could not lawfully do.

"I hope Mike is gonna do the right thing," Trump told supporters. "I hope so. I hope so, because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election."

A Trump supporter who spoke to local news outlet CBS17 said the crowd in D.C. turned violent after hearing reports that Pence would not help the president overturn his election loss.

"People got news on their phone that Mike Pence said he is not going to object to these seven states, and he was going to accept the electoral college that promotes President-elect Joe Biden," she explained. "That is when everybody got really upset and that's when they started storming."

The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) spent money organizing turnout for Wednesday's insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on the contents of the call on Friday.

"At 1 p.m., we will march to the Capitol building and call on Congress to stop the steal," the robocall said. "We are hoping patriots like you will join us to continue to fight to protect the integrity of our elections," the robocall said. * "This call is paid for and authorized by the Rule of Law Defense Fund."

The newspaper describes the organization as "the policy and fundraising arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association."

The Rule of Law Defense Fund was also listed as a sponsor of the rally, but is now seeking to distance itself from the violence.

**"The Republican Attorneys General Association and Rule of Law Defense Fund had no involvement in the planning, sponsoring, or the organization of Wednesday's event," said RAGA executive director Adam Piper. "No Republican AG authorized the staff's decision to amplify a colleague speaking at the event. Organizationally and individually, we strongly condemn and disavow the events which occurred."

Militia Gathers at Kentucky State Capitol to Menace Gov. Beshear, Honor Slain Capitol Rioter

Dozens of armed militiamen gathered at the Kentucky state Capitol Saturday in a menacing echo of Wednesday’s Capitol riot, though they did not attack the building. They sang songs and made speeches against Gov. Andy Beshear, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). The group stood in silence for a minute and walked around the building to honor Ashli Babbitt, the Air Force veteran and conspiracy theorist who stormed the U.S. Capitol and was shot and killed during the ensuing violence, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports. Beshear responded on Twitter, “Three days after domestic terrorists attacked our U.S. Capitol, there was a militia rally in Frankfort. They brought zip ties. We will not be intimidated. We will not be bullied. America is counting on the real patriots. Those who condemn hate and terror when they see it.”

After Romney, Graham Accosted by Trump Supporters in Airports, Members of Congress to Get Increased Security While Traveling

After videos went viral showing supporters of President Donald Trump accosting Senators in airports to yell at them and accuse them of being traitors to the president — not to mention the troubling scenes of the riots at the Capitol — members of Congress will be getting increased security at airports, at least for the near future.

CNN’s Manu Raju reported that the U.S. Capitol Police and Sergeant at Arms’ office sent a notice to members of Congress on Saturday, outlining plans to coordinate with the U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies around the country to ensure their safety as they travel between Washington, D.C. and their home districts.

Capitol Police officers will also be stationed at all three major D.C. area airports through Inauguration Day, January 20: Reagan National Airport (DCA), Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) spoke to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about the enhanced security.

Blitzer mentioned recent events events where Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) were accosted by angry Trump supporters at airports, as well as the obvious security concerns invoked by the Capitol riots.

“The work of members of Congress is to travel back and forth,” explained Spanberger, a former CIA intelligence officer. “We live in our districts and the places we represent and the places we’re raising our family, and we travel back and forth to Washington.”

Spanberger, who represents a Virginia district and drives to the Capitol, noted that most members’ commute to work is on airplanes, and called the videos of Romney and Graham being heckled “rather aggressive and quite dangerous.”

She told Blitzer that they had been asked to keep airport security aware of their travel itineraries and some sort of security escort would be arranged for them.

Spanberger described how many of her congressional colleagues “speak so positively” of their interactions and “human moments” with their constituents as they travel, “but the recent tensions are just at a fever pitch that are absolutely dangerous.”

“As I keep saying,” Blitzer replied, “hard to believe this is all happening here in the United States of America,” urging Spanberger to “be careful out there.”

Rep. Clyburn: Someone inside Capitol complicit in violence

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) says he believes someone inside the Capitol building was complicit in the violence Wednesday.

In an interview on Sunday, the South Carolina lawmaker said protesters easily entered the building, which suggests someone on the inside was in on the breach.

Clyburn noted demonstrators entered the office where he spends most of his time doing work, despite the fact it is not marked with his name. He also said anyone wanting to find this office has to know exactly where to look.

“That office is where I do most of my work and for some reason, these people showed up at that office,” Clyburn stated. “But the office where my name is above the door… and my position above the door was not disturbed.”

Antifa members and BLM protesters clashed with Trump supporters during a patriot march in San Diego, California.

Police in Pacific Beach, California ordered demonstrators to leave the area after violent counter-protesters clashed with supporters of President Trump.

On Saturday, a peaceful rally for the President turned violent when alleged Antifa-members showed up to interrupt the group. The event was dubbed a “patriot march,” and its purpose was to stand up for the American republic, Constitution and freedom.

However, counter-demonstrators showed up wearing all black with some holding sticks or bats, which aggravated the scene.

Many local business owners were anxious about the potential damage done to their buildings as many watched the violence from indoors.

Passers-by were also shaken up.

“Down by the boardwalk, you can see them with all their flags,” one passer-by stated. “They’re blocking the boardwalk. You know, people are just out there trying to enjoy their Saturday afternoon.”

The San Diego Police Department broke up multiple altercations over the course of the evening. They declared the gathering an “unlawful assembly.” Officers stated they will always facilitate “peaceful protests,” but no acts of violence will be tolerated.

Trump supporters plan 'armed protests' in all 50 states starting this weekend: FBI bulletin

Supporters of President Donald Trump are not backing down from their threats to carry out violence in the name of keeping the president in power.

An FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News reporter Aaron Katersky claims that "armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January."

What's more, at least some of these protesters have vowed to employ violence if Trump is either impeached or removed via the 25th Amendment.

"They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment a huge uprising will occur," the FBI bulletin states.

Additionally, the bulletin states that one group of Trump supporters "is calling for 'storming' state, local, and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Trump is removed prior to Inauguration Day."

The FBI bulletins come days after Trump supporters rioted at the United States Capitol building in a failed effort to block Congress from certifying President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

A top executive with PBS is fired after investigative reporter James O’Keefe released a video of him suggesting political repressions against Republican voters.

O’Keefe’s Project Veritas spoke with now former PBS Principal Counsel Michael Beller, who called on Antifa and BLM to “throw Molotov cocktails” at the White House.

“Even if Biden wins, we go for all the Republican voters, Homeland Security will take their children away,” the former PBS executive said in the released footage. “And we’ll put them into re-education camps.”

Beller also endorsed Chinese-style labor camps for President Trump supporters, and made false claims about COVID-19.

“Enlightenment camps. They’re nice, they have Sesame street. You know most people are dumb,” Beller said. “What’s great is that COVID is spiking in all the red states, or a lot of them are sick and dying.”

Beller’s political bias is now raising ethical concerns as PBS is funded by all U.S. taxpayers, regardless of their political views.

Taylor Greene spoke at the Capitol on Wednesday and slammed the Democrats’ impeachment of President Trump as divisive.

The congresswoman noted President Trump has held over 600 rallies in the last four years and none of them included calls to assault police, destroy businesses or burn down cities. She also suggested Democrats have a double standard when it serves their cause.

“Democrats are on record supporting violence when it serves their cause, in their own words, on social media, on interviews, and on fundraising platforms blue,” Taylor Greene said. “Democrats support defunding the police when it’s someone else’s city, someone else’s home and someone else’s businesses.”

The congresswoman added Democrats have spent “all this time endorsing and enabling violent riots,” which resulted in billions of dollars in property damage and 47 dead across the United States.
