I think the treasonous conservative/Republicans really fucked up trying to create white hysteria over "critical race theory." They latched onto it thinking it would make a a great catch phrase they would use in sound bites. But they not only don't have a clue what critical race theory really is or where its even being discussed they are also getting incredible blow back from people who do understand it and its actually educating the country on critical race theory and its nothing to fear.

    Just like this.

Watch Joy Reid takedown the architect of the critical race theory culture war in epic debate

Joy Reid and Christopher Rufo (Photo: Screeh capture)

MSNBC host Joy Reid took on Christopher Rufo, the think-tank "scholar" who claimed to be an expert on race because he works as a "scholar" at a conservative think tank. Speaking Wednesday, Reid got him to confess that he's neither an expert in race nor in law, which is where the idea of critical race theory is generally taught.

Rufo claimed that Reid was attacking him on air, which she corrected, saying that she was doing nothing more than reading the quote from his own documents.

Reid began by asking at what point "critical race theory" was invented, and he didn't know, saying sometime in the 1980s or 1990s. Reid cited the Harvard University paper in which it was first mentioned in 1981 by Professor Derrick Bell, who died in 2011.

She cited Rufo's "documentary" on critical race theory that cite professors or professorial types who he admits are academics who he claims are replacing equality with equity, which is a conservative charge Reid said she's been hearing since she was in high school. "To ending individual property rights and even to committing reverse genocide or calling for reverse genocide."

Rufo said that it wasn't true, which Reid said she would play the clip if Rufo allowed her to do it, but he wouldn't. He said that the term is counter genocide, a genocide perpetrated in retaliation to another genocide.

Rufo claims in his talking points that the father of critical race theory was Ibram X. Kendi, who told Reid that he wasn't a critical race theorist.

"I admire critical race theory but I don't identify as a critical race theorist. I'm not a legal scholar, so I wasn't trained on critical race theory," Kendi said. "I'm a historian and Chris would know that if he actually read my work or understood that critical race theory is taught in law schools. I didn't attend law school."

Rufo began to complain that Reid was citing things and not letting him answer, but she explained she wanted to go through her list of disputes.

Rufo claimed that he wasn't a political operative, but Reid rolled a video of Rufo speaking at the Claremont Institute on May 18 in which he called critical race theory a political "cudgel," meaning a giant political weapon. He went on to supplement his point by quoting Barbara Applebaum, who he said was a critical race theorist. She's, in fact, listed as being trained in philosophy and education and "her research is heavily influenced by feminist ethics, feminist philosophy, and critical race theory."

He also quoted American author Robin DiAngelo was another person he quoted, who did her thesis on whiteness in racial dialogues. She also is an education professor, not a critical theorist, according to her website.

"There are these very pathetic and very angry graduate students who try to fight me on these highly technical haggle interpretations," said Rufo. "I don't have time for this. Like I don't give a sh*t."

Reid noted that there again explains that critical race theory isn't something being taught in kindergarten, it's a graduate-level conversation among academics.

His argument fell apart from there.

MSNBC's Morning Joe hoots with laughter as 'business genius' Trump admits his accountant broke tax laws

    MSNBC

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough hooted with derision after Donald Trump apparently confirmed the crimes his longtime accountant was indicted on.

The "Morning Joe" host rolled video of Trump's rally speech over the weekend, where the twice-impeached one-term president claimed he didn't know his chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg had to pay taxes on fringe benefits the Trump Organization doled out.

"You can't actually say it's one of the dumber things you've ever heard him say," Scarborough said, cackling with laughter. "This guy who claims to be a business genius, you have to pay taxes on apartments? Whoever knew you had to pay taxes on cars and apartments? You know who did? They did -- because they had two spread sheets. They were keeping two sets of books, according to the charges and the information. It seems they knew all too well the ramifications of not paying almost $1 million in taxes on those benefits."

Dave Aronberg, the state attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, said Trump's remarks would hurt his longtime accountant and possibly even himself.

"That sound you hear is the sound of the Trump bus rolling over Allen Weisselberg at that rally," Aronberg said. "I do take it as admissions they're going to hurt Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization and could come back to be used against Trump himself if he's ever charged in this matter. What you saw was a preview of his future defense, if he's ever charged, which is what I call the 'Sgt. Schultz' defense -- you remember the character, from 'Hogan's Heroes,' 'I know nothing,' he used to say. We see that defense all the time here in the prosecutor business when it comes to white-collar fraud cases."

"The defense could help Trump but Allen Weisselberg can't use it," Aronberg added. "He has a level of sophistication, experience, knowledge, that makes that defense inapplicable. Plus, there's evidence of criminal intent here like the allegation of two separate sets of books one for the IRS and one internally that kept account of the hidden benefits that Weisselberg got, so when he said he never received a raise between 2011, 2018, it was done under the table, according to prosecutors, and subsidized by taxpayers.

Who is the next Trump Associate to feel the wrath of the political left?

The list has been long and distinguished over the past 5 years, and believe me....the deep state isn't done yet, which goes against what I claimed earlier, thinking they'd leave Trump alone once out of office, but....

75 million voters backing Trump policies, blew my theory all to hell.

Reports: Left-wing media scared to question Biden

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 5:56 PM PT – Sunday, July 11, 2021

President Trump often faced immense pressure from reporters, however, Joe Biden has so far seemed to have an easier experience. Anonymous White House reporters told journalist Julia Loffe that Democrats expect reporters to be on their side and that Biden’s team has been controlling what journalists can say and do.

Additionally, cable news has lost 30 percent of their viewers since Biden took office and reporters have said pieces on Trump are receiving more views over the Democrat.

At Biden’s first solo press conference in March, he had a list of journalists to call on and had already prepped answers. However, he faced little backlash for having the cheat sheet.

In the past when Trump would express his concerns on the accuracy of the media, he was called a threat to free press. Meanwhile, when Biden attacks media they never seem to bite back.

In June, Biden snapped at a CNN reporter after being questioned about his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Later that same day, Biden insulted journalists for claiming he dodged their questions. Meanwhile, backlash remained absent.

Following the occurrence, White House staffers made press appearances while Biden was sidelined. Biden has previously mentioned he would “get in trouble” with his staff if he were to veer away from scripted questions and interactions with reporters.

More recently, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki led reporters in singing “happy birthday” to a journalist at a press briefing. Journalists may now be in jeopardy of losing their jobs for asking Biden tough questions and going against the “narrative.”

Project Veritas has recently helped some journalists get their stories out, where they claim they have been muzzled from sharing information to the public. According to a poll back in 2014, only 7 percent identified as Republicans, revealing a stark left-wing bias in the journalism industry.

Critics blast press over Avenatti debacle: 'One of the more humiliating chapters in media malfeasance'
Avenatti was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison after being convicted of trying to extort $25 million from Nike
    7/12/2021
    [IMG]
Disgraced attorney Michael Avenatti, once heralded by media members and commentators as the "savior of the republic," the "Holy Spirit" and "Donald Trump's worst nightmare," is going to prison, and critics aren't eager to forgive or forget his enablers in the press.

Avenatti was sentenced to two-and-a-half years' imprisonment last week after being convicted of trying to extort $25 million from Nike, and his legal woes aren't even over, as he faces charges of fraud and tax evasion in California. It was what the Washington Examiner's Becket Adams called "one of the more humiliating chapters in media malfeasance" coming closer to an end.

"Will there be any accountability for the people who made him a household name?" the Wall Street Journal's James Freeman asked. "The fraudster enjoyed favorable coverage across the establishment media landscape because he was always eager to hurl allegations at Donald Trump or his appointees."

Before his downfall, liberal outlets MSNBC and CNN gave Avenatti hundreds of millions of dollars in free media as he represented Stormy Daniels in litigation against Trump, Vanity Fair published a feature on his skincare routine, and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow even gave credence to his accusation that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was implicated in gang rapes.

CNN's Brian Stelter sipped coffee as he told Avenatti he took him seriously as a Democratic presidential candidate, MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace said Democrats would be "foolish" to underestimate him, Washington Post blogger Jennifer Rubin told him she loved him, and MSNBC's Joy Reid called him "brilliant" and "mad telegenic." Before an interview with Avenatti, Stelter grew indignant on his behalf for Fox News host Tucker Carlson calling him a "creepy porn lawyer." Coverage included puffy profiles from NPR and the New York Times, as well as a Washington Post recap of his youth voter outreach at the Video Music Awards.

The left-wing Lincoln Project's Rick Wilson said of him, "Avenatti’s got balls. Giant, clanking, titanium balls."

Bloomberg's Jonathan Bernstein hit Democrats and the media for embracing the "con artist," and Fox News contributor Joe Concha derided the press for being sucked in by the "shady hustler" in a video commentary last week.

    [IMG]Video
"This is just another example of media activism in broad daylight. And here’s the kicker: all the people on air who were part of this debacle will have almost no contrition," he said.

Publishing one of his trademark Twitter threads of poorly aged takes from media members, conservative writer Drew Holden recounted the embarrassing saga and predicted nothing would change for the better.

"Avenatti is the apotheosis of a character that’s been all-too-common in the Trump era: a thinly veiled fraud whom the media push because they say mean things about a Republican. If the media hopes to build any trust with the American people, they need to stop creating Avenattis," he tweeted.

The Washington Examiner's Becket Adams wrote "no one is worse off for the Avenatti implosion than the press, which is entirely responsible for making him into the fly-by-night ‘hero’ that he was." Like Concha, he also said Avenatti was a media creation.

"All this adoration, all the legitimizing of the Avenatti brand, because he represented a porn star who claims she was paid hush money by the president’s capos to keep their affair a secret. It was the ultimate anti-Trump sleaze, and the press couldn’t get enough of it," Adams wrote, noting Avenatti wasn't even that good a lawyer given Daniels' federal lawsuits were both dismissed in 2019.

    [IMG]Video
"The press’s hero-worship of Avenatti isn’t just humiliating in retrospect," he added. "It was humiliating at the time. Avenatti was an obviously untrustworthy character, his temperament and personal and professional record the stuff of nightmares … From day one, it was clear Avenatti was a bomb waiting to explode. Anyone with half a brain could see the fuse was lit. That our press couldn’t see it, or chose not to see it, is a stain that no amount of hand-waving or personal denial can erase."

During Avenatti's sentencing, Judge Paul Gardephe of the Southern District of New York called his conduct "outrageous," although the 30-month sentence he got was far less than the eight years prosecutors wanted.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said taking a "victory lap" on the Avenatti embarrassment was his "favorite form of cardio."

"Almost all the media's handiwork is a hate crime hoax against you," he said Friday. "They spend their careers making you into the bad guy, while elevating creeps like Avenatti. Fueled by their own narcissism, they elevated Avenatti so they could look cool. Overlooking the obvious red flags everyone else could see."

There hasn't been much navel-gazing among liberal press members over the Avenatti debacle. Stelter's "Reliable Sources" newsletter devoted two sentences to the "formerly TV-famous lawyer" on Thursday. CBS correspondent Jamie Wax acknowledged Friday perhaps "we went about covering him the wrong way," although he received quick pushback from "This Morning" anchor Tony Dokoupil.

"I wouldn't say ‘we,'" he said. "I wouldn't say ‘we.’"

Rachel Maddow "seriously considering" quitting MSNBC: report
It's hard to imagine contemporary cable news, especially MSNBC, without Maddow

They claim that Maddow has a ''growing crowd'', so "as negotiations drag on and the temptation to take her brand elsewhere or start her own lucrative media company has grown."

Wanna bet that she eventually rides off into the sunset in 3 years if she leaves MSNBC?..or eventually host the evening comedy shows?.

Rachel Maddow faces more legal issues as Republican Congressman Devin Nunes files a defamation suit against MSNBC.

The suit was filed last week and argues Maddow and the network show hostility, hatred, extreme bias, spite and ill-will in their coverage of the California lawmaker.

In particular, the suit takes issue with Maddow’s so-called reporting from March 18, in which she claimed Nunes didn’t turn over a package from a suspected Russian agent to the FBI.

Nunes says he did hand over the materials and Maddow never reached out to him to clarify. One America’s John Hines caught up with Nunes and has more in this exclusive interview.
