President Trump authorizes ‘total declassification’ of all documents on Russia hoax, Clinton emails scandal

President Trump announced he has authorized the total declassification of all documents pertaining to the 2016 Russia investigation. On Twitter Tuesday, he said he will make public any and all documents in connection to what he called “the single greatest political crime in American history.”

The President then instructed Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to declassify the notes of former CIA Director John Brennan that show Hillary Clinton came up with a plan to connect President Trump to Russia back in 2016.

Brennan contends the plan was simply a part of the Clinton campaign strategy and has tried to downplay its significance. According to his handwritten notes, the campaign should “vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian Security Service.”

Brennan’s notes, allegedly dated July 28, 2016, detailed the plan was “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.” President Trump has also said all documents from “the Hillary Clinton email scandal” will also be released with no redactions.

The declassification comes amid continued claims from Democrat lawmakers trying to link the president to Russian corruption, which is an accusation he has repeatedly denied. When releasing the documents and new information, Ratcliffe added that he’ll be briefing Congress on “the sensitive sources and methods by which it was obtained in the coming days.”

 

President Trump puts pressure on Democrats to get coronavirus relief passed

President Trump is calling for bipartisanship among lawmakers on Capitol Hill and is asking them to reach an agreement over coronavirus relief for the American people. In a series of tweets Tuesday night, he demanded the House and Senate come together.

“The expansion is still far from complete at this early stag, I would argue that the risks of policy intervention are still asymmetric,” he stated. “Too little support would lead to weak recovery, creating unnecessary hardship for households and businesses.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he fully supports the President’s decision to walk away from negotiations if Democrats refuse to agree with outlined terms. If an agreement is not met soon, the Senate has been asked to shift their focus towards confirming President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.

Hundreds rally for President Trump at first public event since COVID diagnosis



On Saturday, President Trump held his first public event since his coronavirus diagnosis and treatment. While speaking from the White House’s South Portico Balcony, the President thanked his supporters for their ongoing support amid his recovery.

With the use of science and medicine, he reaffirmed the nation will defeat the virus “once and for all.”

President Trump also touted his progress for Black and Latino Americans by highlighting the lowest ever unemployment rates among those communities.

The President also highlighted law enforcement for their work amid nationwide unrest and stressed the need for law and order.

President Trump will be hopping back on the campaign trail Monday for a rally in Sanford, Florida.

He will then travel to Pennsylvania for a “Make America Great Again” event in the battleground state. According to his campaign, the rally will be held on Tuesday at the John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.

Next, President Trump will head to Iowa for another rally at the Des Moines International Airport.

Campaign officials have confirmed all attendees will be given a temperature check, masks and access to hand sanitizer during these events.

The Florida Police Chiefs Association offered its first ever presidential endorsement to President Trump this week.

“On behalf of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, I am honored to announce our endorsement of President Donald J. Trump,” stated Chief Jeff Pearson.

President Trump has expressed his gratitude to the association for their support. On Twitter, the President stated he was honored to earn the first ever presidential endorsement from the organization.

Vice President Pence says President Trump to roll out new health care plan

Vice President Mike Pence has reassured Americans that health care remains a top priority for the Trump administration. On Tuesday, he announced the President will begin outlining a framework for his health care plan in the weeks ahead.

Pence explained President Trump will be taking executive action to pass new reforms, which are aimed at lowering the cost of health insurance and protecting those with preexisting conditions.

“We’ve long believed that the individual mandate at the center of Obamacare was unconstitutional,” he stated. “The President’s also been very clear that we’re going to make sure any American with preexisting conditions continues to have coverage.”

The Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments regarding the Affordable Care Act in November. Pence reiterated that the President will act soon to replace it.

“We came very close to passing a bill that would repeal and replace Obamacare,” he added. “While the President and I were disappointed in that, we’ve never given up on bringing real innovation to health care and in the days ahead, the President will be taking some action under his executive branch authority.”
