Just sitting here thinking deep thoughts.

Like:

I’m very happy that texting wasn’t around when I was newly single, fuck, would I have been in trouble! Same with smart phones with GPS tracking.

 

Why am I not currently meandering the warm European countryside, bottle of crisp Grigio and charcuterie tray tucked cheekily in a basket, draped in a wispy linen shift and a wildflower tucked charmingly in my loose, tumbling hair?

Unacceptable, really.

 

I don't known what's scarier, the reality of today, as it is, or the premonitions of what reality would be like, in my eyes as a young man.
One thing I can say, as it was today, would be unbelievable, to the point of being a nightmare, to myself as a young man.
Reality burled the dreamstate mindset. Woke up, half awake. Been mixing days and nights lately, so any sleeping pattern is gone. Sleep late to day, woke turned on the television. I recognized the guy talking, he is talking about people that have gotten his image tattooed on their body, and how age and time have, altered if you will, the lines, shapes to curves and so on. Then, it is a talk show, the subject goes to parenting, giving kids a structured up bringing.
Now I am questioning my awakedness? (it's a word, I say it is) could I be dreaming, am I really seeing and hearing this? It is not so shocking, or unbelievable, but massively out of place in my half awake state. Which in turn gets me thinking about how the future would be, both from this point, compared to what was envisioned in my younger days.
That didn't help with shaking the cobwebs out. The things didn't happen, I thought would, and in hindsight, I realize that is something to be thankful for. The way things have gone, the world is much wierder(another one, keep reading) then what was envisioned. That is also hard to explain, but I have no second thoughts on that.
Back to reality this morning, when I thought back on what I envisioned about this guy, 40 years ago, Paul Stanley, odds are would have he been planted by now.
As the haze left my mind, amazing is all I can say. I am sure I am not alone in thinking Kiss, The Stones, and countless others would be but a dot on the roadmap of time. Yet they still do what they did, with a few new "trends" added, KISS parenting advice? I'm going back to bed.

 

Never liked the term, Supervisor, reminds me of task master, shouldn't the job description, Supervisor, be political corectisized, to overseeing Co worker? ....
