If the story is interesting I make a comment but I find that most authors ignore the comments and therefore do not acknowledge what readers have said. I shall read 'Trib Fan',s tales and be happy to comment. I should advise you that I have been banned from at least two web sites because they didn,t like my hard hitting comments, Americans so touchy, 'If you can,t stand the heat stay out of the .... ps I never use bad language.

 

Funny. I like comments and sometimes respond to a question. Today someone said I needed to proofread better. I was devastated. ha. Really my typing sucks and between reading my text doc, copying it and reformatting here to fit this site, then doing it again at Hot Porn I do catch a lot of mistakes. But stuff still gets through. It's a lot of text I've generated in 3 weeks.

 

I enjoy comments and respond as quickly as I can because I like conversing with the readers on their thoughts to my material. My stories are long form and I know it's not for everyone.

 

If you read again every paragraph that you have written before writing the next paragraph it,s easier to spot any grammar mistakes or spelling or repetitive words

 

Hey I’m new to the site thanks for the list. Being a writer myself I look forward to checking them out as well as the other writers I see posted as well.

 

No author can please every reader all the time. With so many different 'genres' which cannot be included in every tale writers are on a hiding to nothing. I find most authors tend to write about what they like in sexual matters and leave other themes to other writers, thus a reader only interested in 'gay' stories probably would not read about straight sex and vice versa. Writers should not worry too much about reader comments and as long as their tales are in reasonably good english carry on regardless.

 

Further more a reader with excellent English grammar may well find stories lacking good English dull whereas those readers having a dearth of good English will enjoy the poorly written tale.

 

True, but some positive reinforcement gives people some incentive to spend their time thinking of, typing up and posting their stories. And if you want reasonably good grammar and spelling then there is additional time editing. So if people read a story, and enjoy it, a couple of lines saying what was good about it isn't really too much to ask.

If you want to be a writer you have to put up with being ignored however you do get to know how many people are reading your tales.

re-post your stories, it will not cost you anything but remember those readers who are not into 'incest' will pass them by. If you want plenty of readers you must include in your stories a little of all genres keeping to 'incest' only will reduce the number of your fans.

 

Your quite right I don,t read incest so I pass straight on
