    Here's the thing.
    It doesn't matter who added to the debt more, or why, or when.
    What matters is that as a country we're spending ourselves into bankruptcy.
    There will come a point where the house of cards we've allowed to be created will collapse, and then we'll all be thoroughly fucked. Despicable and deplorable.

    Now Biden is talking about yet another multi TRILLION stimulus package, the fourth by Shooter's count since the Covid thingy began. It includes a $2,000 check to most Americans. And well over $1.5 TRILLION in pork. Pure, fatty, unhealthy, pork.

    Yeah, lets keep pointing fingers and blaming the other side. That will fix the problem, won't it?
    Or, we could tell Congress, fuck yer stimulus. Fuck yer pork. Get yer shit together and fix the debt.

      When actually it does matter who ran up the debt and it matters more why they ran it up. Let's be clear, Trump ran the dept up to give himself and his rich friends and donors a tax break. Whatever tax break the regular people think they got, they have lost in added expense for items that got caught in the idiots tariff war or in loss do to the idiots refusal to deal with covid when it first started.
      Reagan ran it for much the same reasons. Republicans often bash California for having high taxes, and we do, but it is funny that the governors who raised taxes the most are both Republicans and the one who balanced the budget was the one the republicans hated the most Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown.
