Speaking of myself, I have been reported several times, for implied and assumed inappropriate content in a meme or a gif, and I emphasis implied, nothing explicit,
I have been reported for a young appearing audience member in a Utube concert,

I have never been reported or suspended for a blatantly inappropriate infraction, I can only assume the reports I have gotten were from political and foreign adversaries, seeing opportunities and taking advantage by using the report button,
I have too be extra careful as too what I post.
I can also attest, these self same political and foreign adversaries have not infrequently, posted inappropriate memes and gifs, of the most childish kind, only to be left intact.

As an outspoken American conservative, I conclude my opinions leave me vulnerable to vengfull reporting more so than liberal, foreign opinion...

..because conservative Americans arent spiteful enough to use the report button for vengeance, thats a leftist, foreign thing.

P.S.
I also think it needs to be said, I dont blame administrators, they act as deemed appropriate, sometimes hands are tied, opinion is subjective and needs to be acted on, however deemed appropriately.

I've never really bothered looking at the rules so maybe somebody can put me right.
I "gleaned" that the reasons for suspension were between stanley & whoever's been suspended.
In this case the saintly & "good natured" (DL - you need help) shooters - dogged defender of free speech .. so it's said
Thereafter - in public (& in theory) anyway, that's where the explanations end.
Have I got it wrong - are reasons for suspensions broadcast somewhere & we all get to opine on them ?

In theory, we will never know because we're not supposed to divulge things we learn in a PM. Shooter can tell others in a PM, but they still can't discuss it on the board.

You were temporarily suspended not because you broke the then rules, but because the ex mod at the time hated your racism.

Well rested from his enforced absence, and given the opportunity to think about the circumstances that brought him to his unexpected but well deserved vacation.

Now, understand, Shooter has no animosity towards the administrators or whoever it was that reported him.
Actually, he owes them a debt.

You see, Shooter was suspended for violation of a rule; this one in fact;

And Shooter freely admits that he has, in the past, been an enthusiastic violator of this rule. Shooter has carefully considered the rules of the forum and came to realize that whether he agrees with them or not, they are the rules. And if we have rules, they should be followed and enforced. Otherwise, why have rules?

So, be aware, all forum members, that a new Shooter has returned. No more personal attacks. Shooter will endeavor to adhere strictly to rule 14, and for that matter all of the forum rules. He will continue to attack public officials and other non members with all the enthusiasm and passion that he has in the past. So, for example you will continue to see "despicable" or "deplorable" or "Nancy Antoinette and the power rangers". You will not see "Dutch Dickhead" or "Rear Admiral motherfucker" or any other personal attack.

If he should stray, he hopes that other members will bring it to his attention, or even better, report it to the administrator. To be clear, Shooter intends to report all rule violations. So, if you want to call someone "Shitter" or "dickhead" or whatever, expect Shooter to report it and continue to report all violations, no matter who the violator is and no matter who they are aimed at. Yes, Shooter will report friend and foe alike, so forewarned is forearmed.

This change is not for revenge on Shooters part. He is sincere in saying he is appreciative of the administrator suspending him. It was well deserved. Shooter's point is, if we have rules they should be adhered to and enforced. Otherwise, why have rules in the first place?

Now, Shooter's new attitude begins today. What happened in the past, remains in the past as far as Shooter is concerned. Hope everyone got the personal attacks and rule violations out of their system. Until this moment, they didn't count, as far as Shooter is concerned. Now, they count.
