Giuliani investigation homes in on Trump ally's scheme to push Ukraine's interest in the US

Prosecutors believe Rudy Giuliani and two associates may have broken the law with their business dealings in Ukraine.

Federal prosecutors have compiled a list of more than two dozen specific actions taken by Giuliani and his associates to advance the personal and political interests of Ukrainian officials in violation of U.S. law, reported The Guardian.

Investigators say the former New York City mayor and the husband-and-wife legal team of Victoria Toensing and Joe DiGenova probably violated laws requiring Americans working for foreign governments or interests to register as foreign agents with the Department of Justice and disclose each action they took on behalf of those interests.

For example, investigators uncovered detailed plans crafted by Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko and approved by Giuliani to announce and promote an investigation of Joe Biden and his son Hunter to help Donald Trump's re-election campaign.

Lutsenko had also been working behind the scenes to award Giuliani, Toensing and DiGenova lucrative contracts for legal work.

Jonathan Karl's new book "Betrayal "recalls a debate prep session in which Rudy Giuliani was described as outright "manic."

In the book by Carol Leonig and Phil Rucker, "I Alone Can Fix It," it was revealed that Kellyanne Conway and Chris Christie desperately tried to lock Giuliani out of the practice debates.

"Aides told Giuliani they would be gathering at 2:00 p.m., though they were scheduled to start at noon," the authors write. "They had tricked Giuliani by giving him the wrong time."

Michael Wolff's book "Landslide" goes into more graphic detail, explaining that Giuliani couldn't stop passing gas and is always drunk or at least "buzzed." Wolff mentioned how Giuliani was determined to get Trump to lead any question asked back to Hunter Biden and the Ukraine conspiracy theories.



But Karl's book describes Giuliani as being obsessed with the Hunter Biden story.

"Watch this," Karl quoted Giuliani as he tried to get people to look at his iPad.

"But as he tried to play a video showing more evidence of Biden's corruption, the iPad froze up. He fiddled with it and tried again," Karl continues, citing Giuliani's enthusiasm to show the video. "Again, he could not get the video to play. He tried several times but never could get it to work. But if Giuliani was disruptive and disorganized, he was also saying exactly what Trump wanted to hear. And as they worked through questions, Trump kept talking about Hunter Biden, just as Giuliani had urged him to do."

Ex-Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani was duped by a TikTok comedian into smiling and laughing while being called a "pendejo" – Spanish for "idiot" – at a New York Young Republican Club gala on Sunday.

The comedian, Walter Masterson, known for posing as a right-winger to ensnare Trump allies, apparently approached Giuliani at the event while filming a TikTok to the tune of M.C. Hammer's "Can't Touch This," with the song's defining lyric substituted for "pendejo."

The video – captioned "Rudy Giuliani made a TIK TOK with me" – shows the tuxedoed former New York Mayor smiling and laughing along to the song, which he lets call him the Spanish version of "idiot" three times consecutively.

Giuliani has been no stranger to pranks and gaffes over the past several years.

During the filming of Sacha Baron Cohen's "Borat 2," Giuliani was caught in a compromising position in a hotel bed with an actress posing as a 15-year-old journalist. Giuliani later called the film a "hit job" and a "complete fabrication."

Back in November 2020, four days after the presidential election, Giuliani, then an attorney to Donald Trump, erroneously held a press conference in the parking lot of a landscaping company called "Four Seasons Total Landscaping" instead of the Four Seasons hotel in Washington.

US Liberals Are Clinically Insane and Care Nothing for the American People

Even before Donald Trump won the White House, there were strong indications that something was not quite right with the Liberal mindset. Today, all doubt on the matter has been cleared away.

The mass hysteria that swept across Liberal America, like one giant tear tsunami, following Hillary Clinton’s ‘surprise’ loss in the 2016 presidential election has reached a new level of madness and can now be described as a deep-seated psychosis.

There are some understandable reasons for the Left’s collective mental breakdown. Briefly, ‘Russiagate’ is disintegrating into a burlesque theater of the absurd, while Trump – from jump-starting the Heartland’s industrial sector, to making peace with a nuclear-armed dictator, to ‘winning’ the World Cup – is on a serious roll. If the momentum continues, it may give the Republicans a crucial victory in November congressional midterms. The Democrats, acutely aware as to what is at stake yet unable to stop Trump, are showing a side of their character that can be best described as treacherous. And in order to see the symptoms of a disintegrating Democratic Party one only need look at the US entertainment industry.

For example, actor Robert DeNiro, one of the most outspoken Hollywood critics of Trump, forced his captive audience at the recent Tony Awards to sit through an invective against the US leader, which started with the juvenile comment, “F*ck Trump!” Just in case his audience – which may have included some minors, not to mention Republicans – did not hear him the first time, DeNiro repeated it. The pathetic outburst, which was certainly not the first time a fading Hollywood star has used the pulpit at an awards ceremony to make a weak political impression, won DeNiro a cheap standing ovation.

Back in January 2017, before Trump was even moved into Pennsylvania Avenue, actress Meryl Streep pulled a similar stunt, lecturing the president on the diverse composition of US society in general and Hollywood in particular: “Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners and if we kick them all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts,” Streep said, a comment that reinforces the idea that actors should just stick to their scripts instead of venturing into the minefield of politics.

In between those dual diatribes by two famous Hollywood has-beens have been countless other deranged Liberal stunts, including the moment when ‘comedian’ Kathy Griffin released a photograph of herself holding Trump’s ‘severed head’ aloft, to Johnny Depp making a veiled threat to assassinate the president.

“When was the last time an actor assassinated a president,” Depp asked concertgoers in Glastonbury, a reference to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth, an actor.

However, all that was mere dress rehearsal for the outrageous and very revealing comments by Bill Maher, a popular and provocative HBO talk show host.

“I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point. And by the way, I’m hoping for it,” Maher commented last week. “Because I think one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So please, bring on the recession … Sorry if that hurts people, but it’s either root for a recession or you lose your democracy.”

At first, that may have sounded like a courageous comment until one realizes that Maher, who earns enough money to have donated one million dollars to back Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection efforts, won’t feel any of the repercussions from an imploding economy. From the relative safety of his high-security neighborhood, people like Maher will only feel the consequences from economic ruin vicariously via CNN, MSNBC and a host of other hyper-Liberal news channels that would be only too happy to provide 24/7 coverage on the ensuing chaos.

Maher’s comment speaks volumes about the true nature of the so-called progressive Liberals. Despite all of their virtue signaling and identity grandstanding about the various groups, sexes, religions, nationalities and other various subsets that make up the colorful quilt of America, they clearly have no interest in the welfare of the people.

A good example of this political opportunism came in the Obama era when a non-stop avalanche of cultural experiments were put to work further dividing and conquering the country into atomized, bite-size pieces, ready for easy consumption by the Democrats come election day. In an effort to appear ‘progressive’, a term with no real meaning or sense anymore, Liberals will popularize any cause, however base and diabolical, even if it serves to destroy the very fabric of the nation.

Witness the transgender movement, for example, which the Obama administration practically forced on the American people without any debate in the matter. Under Obama, public schools were told to either allow transgender students the right to use the bathroom of their choice or lose federal support. Here we have a prime example of ‘social justice warriors’ more concerned with guaranteeing the rights of a minuscule part of the population, while ignoring the millions of women and children who will feel rightly threatened with the prospect of sharing a bathroom or changing facility with a male. Much to its credit, the Trump administration put an end to that nonsense.

Beyond America’s borders, where was the seething outrage and visceral hate of the social justice warriors (in reality, snowflakes) when Obama was bombing parts of the Middle East back to the Stone Age? Where were the Academy Award rants as the Nobel Peace Prize winner was raining hell down on innocent civilians? What it have mattered if they knew that Obama dropped over 26,000 bombs in the last year of his reign? Or does ‘social justice’ only apply to Americans? These itinerant ‘warriors’ simply do not care, and have been able to shut down any debate they deem inappropriate – even on college campuses, once the flashpoint for anti-war protests.

The dripping self-righteousness and perceived moral authority of the Liberals is simply nauseating, especially when it is understood that no other group is in reality more supportive of military action than they are.

Indeed, the only time Trump won a golf clap from these warmongering hypocrites was when he bombed, however tepidly, a Syrian airfield following an alleged chemical attack by Syrian forces in April 2017.

Appearing on CNN, analyst Fareed Zakaria declared, “I think Donald Trump became president of the United States” last night. “American leaders… don’t need to go to a pesky Congress every time they want to use military force.”

I am tempted to believe that Trump tossed these psychopaths the bone of military conflict just to expose them for the real ‘social warriors’ they really are.

Michael Cohen sues Donald Trump and Bill Barr for violating his First Amendment rights

Former President Donald Trump's ex-lawyer Michael Cohen announced Thursday that he will be filing a lawsuit against his former boss and former Attorney General Bill Barr after they tried to kill his First Amendment rights.

When Cohen was put in prison, COVID-19 was raging through the country and, namely through prisons. As a result, many correctional facilities put non-violent offenders on house arrest, including Cohen. To let him out, however, Cohen was told he'd have to sign a statement promising he wouldn't publish his book until he had served his entire prison term, which would come after Trump's presidency. It also demanded that he wouldn't speak to the press.

Cohen refused and was sent back to FCI-Otisville, where he waged a lawsuit.

"I make the finding that the purpose of transferring Mr. Cohen from home confinement to jail is retaliatory, and it’s retaliatory because of his desire to exercise his First Amendment rights to publish a book," Senior U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein said.



Not only was Cohen released, but he also began appearing on cable news shows, started a podcast and published the tell-all book just months before the 2020 election.

Trump desperately tried to stop the book's publication with a lawsuit saying Cohen signed an NDA and claims that Cohen and Trump's conversations fell under attorney/client privilege. An attorney who breaches that privilege can be disbarred, but Cohen had already been disbarred in 2019.

Appearing on MSNBC with host Lindsey Reiser, former Donald Trump fixer Michael Cohen laughed when Reiser mentioned former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows' legal problems and proceeded to bury the former North Carolina lawmaker in derision, calling him "stupid" among other insults.

Asked about the House committee citing Meadows for contempt, Cohen snorted and smiled and then piled on by explaining to Meadows everything he has done wrong to put himself in the position he is in.

"He's turned over texts and documents and he won't fully cooperate with the committee. What do you think is going on there?" Reiser asked.

"I've been very vocal about Mark Meadows for a multitude of reasons," Cohen replied. "First and foremost, as I continue to say, I think Mark Meadows is the dumbest a-hole on the Hill, to be very honest with you."



"Not only does this dope go and put out a book, now he's trying to claim the rights of the 5th amendment against self-incrimination. Hey stupid? You put out a book, they now have the right to ask you about things like that," he continued. "That was his first mistake. The second, and this is something that I constantly look at and I think about when I see the nonsense that goes on in the inner circle, considering I was there at one point and at the top of the heap. I'm watching and I'm seeing these 9,000 texts, emails from who to who to who, and I wonder, I know for a fact that there are more, but what I wonder is why these 9,000?'

"Who is the next one to be thrown under the bus?" Cohen added. "And the way it looks like to me, it looks like a few people and Mark Meadows is certainly going to be one of them and I think Don Jr. is potentially another."

Bill Barr got served with the lawsuit Cohen has filed against him and Trump today. And reports are Barr was not happy. And with good reason because one federal judge has already ruled they violated Cohen's first amendment rights when they sent him back to jail to keep him from publishing his book or doing interviews.

 

Wasn't there a law that prevented criminals from making bank writing books about their crimes??

We need a similar law for politicians.

 

He could do interviews from prison if he wanted... No one was stopping him from publishing his book.

For nearly a decade, Michael Cohen was at odds with Rosie O’Donnell in part because his boss — President Donald Trump — was engaged in a long feud with the comedian and talk-show host.

On Monday, Cohen is launching a podcast, titled “Mea Culpa,” with O’Donnell as his first guest.

“First episode. First interview. First feud. First family,” Cohen told The Associated Press by phone late Thursday.

Cohen and O’Donnell have become close ever since Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, turned against the president.

Cohen was serving time at a New York prison for tax crimes, lying to congress and campaign finance violations when O’Donnell sent him a six-page letter.

“It was filled with kindness and empathy, and just humanity,” he said. “The first words in my response to her were, `I want to begin by apologizing from the depths of my soul for any hurt feelings that I had been involved with during those Trump times.’”

Trump and O’Donnell have engaged in a lengthy public feud. Challenged during a presidential primary debate in 2015 about how he described some women as “fat pigs,” “dogs” and “slobs,” Trump responded by saying: “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”

O’Donnell visited Cohen while he was in prison. He is still serving his sentence, but was furloughed to house arrest as part of a program to reduce the spread of the coronavirus behind bars.

Cohen said his podcast came together this week following the release of his memoir, “Disloyal: The True Story of the Former Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump.”

The podcast is being co-produced by Audio Up Media and Meidas Touch, an anti-Trump political action committee.

 

Jan. 6 Committee wants to speak to Rudy Giuliani

The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots wants to speak to Rudy Giuliani, who served as President Donald Trump's lawyer during the over 60 failed lawsuits against the 2020 election results.

Giuliani is likely to claim that he can't testify about anything because he was serving in a legal capacity for Trump. However, Giuliani did say that he worked for Trump "for free" because Trump ordered him to.

Committee chair Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said that he specifically wants answers to questions involving the Willard War Room that both Giuliani and associate Bernard Kerik were in on Jan. 6. The room was paid for by Giuliani's LLC but he was finally reimbursed after Fox host Jeanine Pirro got involved.



At one point, Giuliani bragged that he was charging $20,000 a day for his services. That prompted Trump to tell his staff never to pay the former mayor.

It's unclear if the committee will issue a subpoena for Giuliani or simply ask him. However, Kerik has provided documents and agreed to testify publicly.

Avenatti: I Was Only Allowed to Read Trump’s ‘Art of the Deal’ in Prison

Michael Avenatti, the disgraced lawyer jailed for extortion after he represented adult-film star Stormy Daniels, is suing the Federal Bureau of Prisons for allegedly mistreating him in prison as revenge for his high-profile battles with former President Donald Trump. According to CBS News, Avenatti is seeking $94 million from the government—or $1 million for each day he says he spent behind bars in solitary confinement or lockdown. The suit alleges that Avenatti was only allowed access to one book during his time in jail—Trump’s The Art of the Deal. It also claims officials limited his contact with friends, family, and other inmates. Avenatti said in a statement: “A federal district court judge has found that I was held under terrible conditions and that it was hard to believe it occurred in the United States of America... I agree and I look forward to holding Trump and [former Attorney General William] Barr accountable for what they did to me in the interest of politics and revenge.” A BOP spokesman refused to comment on the pending litigation.
