I can envision the guys over at The Lincoln Project kind of laughing uncontrollably saying holy fuck where do we start.

But its actually one of the most serious things in American history. The POTUS is obviously mentally ill and unfit for office. Not even xxxxx xxxxx could save Trump from himself.

Trump flies to Kenosha but lands on Planet Zog -

But in the imaginary Kenosha that Trump created Tuesday afternoon at an invitation-only “roundtable” — in a high school cafeteria serving as a government “command center” — things were quite different.

There was no pandemic in this Kenosha; at his suggestion, everybody in the roundtable took off their face masks. There was no right-wing violence. (I heard no mention of the killings by the Trump-backing extremist.) There was no such thing as police brutality (Trump quickly swept aside any such notion). And there were hardly any Black people (only two of the 23 in the room).

It quickly became clear that the pair, a pastor and his wife, were to be seen rather than heard. James Ward, who said he is the pastor to Blake’s mother, was asked by Trump to offer a prayer, then offered to discuss “the real pain that hurts Black Americans.” Trump wasn’t interested.

When Trump opened the roundtable to questions, a reporter asked the pastor whether he believed that there is systemic racism in law enforcement.

Before Ward could answer, Trump broke in to say there were only “some bad apples” among police, of which “I have the endorsement of so many, maybe everybody.”

The reporter tried again. “Could the pastor answer my question, please?TrumpTrump called on another questioner.
Then, shutting down the session, Trump turned to the muted pastor he had just used as a prop. “Fantastic job,” he said.

As the election gets closer and closer, Trump appears to be getting further and further from reality. Tuesday’s stagecraft in Kenosha was Trump’s most audacious attempt to rearrange reality since … well, since the night before. On Monday, he informed Fox News’s Laura Ingraham that Joe Biden is the victim of mind control by “people that you’ve never heard of, people that are in the dark shadows.” They are, he said, the same “people that are controlling the streets.” Trump further reported the existence of a plane, “almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms.” He said they “were on the plane to do big damage.”

Pressed for details, Trump said he could divulge no more. “I’ll tell you sometime, but it’s under investigation.” As NBC reported, Trump’s fantastical tale closely matched a two-month-old conspiracy theory making the rounds on Facebook.

By the time he arrived at Joint Base Andrews for his trip to Wisconsin, Trump had already developed more details about his new conspiracy theory. This time, “the entire plane filled up with the looters, the anarchists, the rioters.” And Trump said he has a firsthand account from a person on the plane. “Maybe they’ll speak to you and maybe they won’t,” he said. (They didn’t.)

Arriving in Kenosha, Trump toured a camera shop that had been damaged. There, he chose to speak about Portland, Ore. — about 2,000 miles away. Portland “has been terrible for a long time, for many decades, actually.” Portland is frequently ranked among the “most livable cities” in America.

Trump didn’t meet with the Blake family, instead moving on to the high school cafeteria, draped with blue curtains and decorated with flags.

“I feel so safe,” Trump remarked, after a tour in which he was protected by armored personnel carriers, military trucks and police in camouflage carrying automatic rifles.

He received thanks from a participant for “sending the National Guard.” (That was actually the work of Democratic Gov. Tony Evers, who, like Kenosha’s mayor, urged Trump not to visit.)

Trump reported that “there was love on the street, I can tell you, of Wisconsin when we were coming in … so many African Americans.” According to the “pool” reporters traveling in the president’s motorcade, he had been greeted by friends and foes alike, including one “large group protesting the president, their middle fingers pointed at motorcade.”

The two African Americans in the roundtable did their best to bring Trump around to reality. James Ward prayed for a restoration of “empathy and compassion.” Sharon Ward noted that “it’s important to have Black people at the table” and called it “a good opportunity for us really to solve the problem.”

But Trump would not be moved. Asked about nonviolent protests and structural racism, he answered with “anarchists,” “looters,” “rioters” and “agitators.” He said Democrats like riots and want to close prisons and end immigration enforcement. “The wall will be finished very shortly,” he added.

Maybe that’s true — on Planet Zog.

Trump says North Carolina voters should vote twice; once by mail, once in person
    September 3, 2020, 1:39 AM EDT

(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump suggested on Wednesday that voters in the state of North Carolina should vote twice in the November election, once by vote and once by mail, to make sure their vote was counted.

"So, let them send it in and let them go vote," Trump said in an interview with WECT-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina, when asked about the security of mail-in votes. "And if the system is as good as they say it is then obviously they won't be able to vote" in person.

Voting more than once in an election is illegal.

Activists raised concerns over Trump's remarks, saying what he suggested was in violation of law and urging the public not to listen to his suggestion.

"Casting two ballots is illegal. Don't listen to the president", the American Civil Liberties Union said on Twitter.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr said on Wednesday that mail-in ballots for the Nov. 3 election could be vulnerable to fraud, echoing an argument Trump has made to denounce the use of voting by mail.

Trump has previously said the voting method is susceptible to large-scale fraud, though experts say voter fraud of any kind is extremely rare in the United States.

Voting by mail is not new in the United States - nearly one in four voters cast presidential ballots in 2016 that way.

A record number of mail-in ballots are expected for the Nov. 3 election due to concerns about in-person voting during the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump has accused Democrats of trying to steal the election by pushing the use of mail-in voting. The re-election campaign of Trump has recently sued states like New Jersey and Nevada for expanding access to mail-in voting.

Democrats have said Trump and fellow Republicans are attempting to suppress the vote to help their side.

So, attempting to vote twice isn’t illegal?

How does one attempt to do it but not actually do it?

    6. Sanity_is_Relative
Since most states have abandoned the attempted to or intent to charges for any and all crimes committed in their states even the attempt/ intent to commit a crime is charged the same as if one had committed that crime. Attempting to vote in person after sending in a mailed in vote will be charged as a felony in almost every state leaving the voter/ law breaker listed as a felon that has lost voting rights as well as the right to own and posses a fire arm. The presidicks suggestion that people attempt to commit election fraud should be easily understood as his misunderstanding of election laws, but most of us know that he does not care about laws and has been voting illegally in several elections by using his golf shithole as a residence in a state that does not allow it to be used as a residence.

Its just so simple. The reason Trump took three unrelated things and blurted them out together is because they are one story. They have been terrified for months that Trump's mini strokes would leak out so at the first mention of them Trump threw everything he had at it.

And now he has done it again. I follow MAGA Haberman pretty close because I really don't like her. And Haberman has not only never even mentioned Parkinson's she was as usual understated after the ramp incident. But not in the delusional mind of the mad king dictator.

Trump wrongly believes a NYT reporter said he had Parkinson’s disease — and he won’t shut up about it: report

*It amazes me how many people are willing to leak inside the White House. It is beyond leaks. Its more like a pipeline. And that is because they hate Trump.

**MAGA Haberman had no choice. The story and videos of Trump hobbling down the ramp had blown up all over and she had to say something about it or look like the pro Trump hack she is.

In America years back, We had Lindbergh, a fawning pawn to a dictator, he liked Hitler, sounded similar to Trump sometimes America for the Americans let the Europeans take care of themselves. His Brown shirt followers were not unlike Trumps militias. He wasn't president like Trump so his fawning worship didn't carry the weight like our present Fawning pawn. And Hitler lived in a different time too, he couldn't spend millions on the elections to put Lindbergh in power like the Russians do with Trump. Hitler wanted America to stay out of the war. Wonder how that would have worked out

So, @Dearelliot , exactly how many votes did Russia buy, you know, with their millions??

And if they did actually "buy" the election for Trump, what does that say about the security of the 2020 election?

I know I'm wasting my Time but WTF I'm retired so nobody cares, The concern isn't in votes it's WHY?

    Well, no.
See, first Trump would really have to believe that he owes his seat in the oval office to Putin.
Then, Putin would have to make sure Trump would pay the debt.

Otherwise, why would Putin put up the money for Trump? Why would he back Trump if he wasn't sure he was gonna get a payback?
But since neither Mueller or any of the other investigators have found a single bit of evidence that Trump, or his campaign, cooperated with, or conspired with, or colluded with, Putin or any Russians, that argument falls right apart. Trump didn't denounce Putin's help, but then, neither did Obama at the UN, or Clinton when we sold our uranium to Russia.

Now, the evidence is clear, Putin did want to interfere, and took some very large steps to do just that.
But Shooter thinks Putin just wanted to fuck with the election, he didn't give much of a shit who won or lost. Just as long as there was confusion and doubt, that's what he wanted. You know, fuck with the arrogant Americans, who fucked around with Putin in Israel, and Ukraine, and Syria. Kind of a "fuck with me, will ya?" attitude.

But, you can't blame Trump for what Putin did, is doing, or will do come November. Any more than you could blame Clinton, if Putin had backed her, or Biden, if Putin backs him.

And if Putin thinks Trump owes him something, Shooter thinks Putin is in for a disappointment.

    Why?
    Answered already.
Putin fucked with our election because we fucked with him in Ukraine, and Israel, and Syria, and going farther back, in Afghanistan.

And yeah, when despicables keep repeating the same lies, that Putin handed the election to Trump, the obvious question is How many votes did he buy, then?
But despicables hate that question, because they already know the answer; there is no evidence that any vote was changed due to Russian interference.
And there is no evidence that Trump in any way encouraged, accepted, or wanted Russian help with the election.
So, why the fuck would Trump Or his supporters give a flying fuck what Putin wanted, or thought he wanted, or expected out of Trump?
    That's a despicable thing.
Which says a lot about who Putin should have backed, don't you think?

Well, but did you mean Clinton?
      Biden wasn't running in 2016.

And yeah, Shooters attitude would be about the same.

America has been fucking with every other countries elections and internal affairs since the end of WWII. Pretty arrogant of us to get gum in our shorts when someone fucks back, don't you think?

But what Shooter has found really interesting is that we knew what the Russians were up to in 2015 and even before and all we did was tell em to knock it off.

It didn't become an issue until Trump won. And its been hypocrisy ever since.

Opinion | The terrible dangers of weaponized soup

    September 2, 2020 at 5:20 p.m. EDT

The president, sound in mind and body, is continuing to tell us important things that are worth knowing. Most recently, he wants us to know that soup is a dangerous weapon.

“And you have people coming over with bags of soup — big bags of soup," he said. "And they lay it on the ground, and the anarchists take it and they start throwing it at our cops, at our police. And if it hits you, that’s worse than a brick because that’s got force. It’s the perfect size. It’s, like, made perfect. And when they get caught, they say, ‘No, this is just soup for my family. And the media says, ‘This is just soup.’”

This is not just soup. Soup is a very dangerous substance. For instance, some soup is very hot. Alphabet soup can spell ANTIFA.

Every soup, in fact, has something threatening about it. Vichyssoise collaborated. Chowder is menacing because in Boston it ends in “AH!,” the sound you make when surprised or terrified. Avgolemono? Avgolem — OH, NO! If you are Donald Trump, you love your base; you are against anyone who would try to bouillabaisse. (If you are Donald Trump, you also definitely did not suffer a series of minestrones.) This opposition to soup is just the logical consommé-shun that follows from everything that has gone before.

Imagine this. You are walking down the street, minding your own business. Behind you, you hear the unmistakable sound of a noodle sloshing against a chunk of chicken. You are being pursued by a bag of soup. The anarchists are upon you. Could any sound possibly fill you with more terror? Or an adversary announces he is making stone soup, and suddenly reinforcements arrive with carrots where there were not carrots before.

Or think of French onion soup, covered in a layer of suppurating cheese, squelching as you prod your spoon into it. Think of cream of mushroom. Cream of mushroom held America in terror for the entire decade of the 1950s, forcing people to transform it into casseroles. Such was the whim of soup. Such was its awesome power. Chicken soup — it will heal you, but at what cost?

Soup is a liquid. Why is it wearing armor? Is this the Middle Ages? What does the soup know? In fallout shelters around the world, soup lurks in a can, ready to survive any apocalyptic event. The soup will endure long after we have expired, long after it has expired.

It is the perfect weapon. It shows no mercy, not even a ladle bit.

Report: Trump disparaged US war dead as 'losers,' 'suckers'

    By JAMES LAPORTA
    Yesterday

DELRAY BEACH, FLa. (AP) — A new report details multiple instances of President Donald Trump making disparaging remarks about members of the U.S. military who have been captured or killed, including referring to the American war dead at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France in 2018 as “losers” and “suckers.”

Trump said Thursday that the story is “totally false.”

The allegations were first reported in The Atlantic. A senior Defense Department official with firsthand knowledge of events and a senior U.S. Marine Corps officer who was told about Trump's comments confirmed some of the remarks to The Associated Press, including the 2018 cemetery comments.

The defense officials said Trump made the comments as he begged off visiting the cemetery outside Paris during a meeting following his presidential daily briefing on the morning of Nov. 10, 2018.

Staffers from the National Security Council and the Secret Service told Trump that rainy weather made helicopter travel to the cemetery risky, but they could drive there. Trump responded by saying he didn't want to visit the cemetery because it was “filled with losers,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss it publicly.

The White House blamed the canceled visit on poor weather at the time.

In another conversation on the trip, The Atlantic said, Trump referred to the 1,800 Marines who died in the World War I battle of Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

Trump emphatically denied the Atlantic report Thursday night, calling it "a disgraceful situation” by a “terrible magazine.”

Speaking to reporters after he returned to Washington from a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Trump said: “I would be willing to swear on anything that I never said that about our fallen heroes. There is nobody that respects them more. No animal — nobody — what animal would say such a thing?"

Trump also reiterated the White House explanation of why he didn't visit the cemetery. “The helicopter could not fly,” he said, because of the rain and fog. “The Secret Service told me you can’t do it. ... They would never have been able to get the police and everybody else in line to have a president go through a very crowded, very congested area.”

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said, “It’s sad the depths that people will go to during a lead-up to a presidential campaign to try to smear somebody.”

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday, “If the revelations in today’s Atlantic article are true, then they are yet another marker of how deeply President Trump and I disagree about the role of the President of the United States.”

“Duty, honor, country — those are the values that drive our service members,” he said in a statement Thursday night, adding that if he is elected president, "I will ensure that our American heroes know that I will have their back and honor their sacrifice — always.” Biden's son Beau served in Iraq in 2008-09.

The Defense officials also confirmed to The AP reporting in The Atlantic that Trump on Memorial Day 2017 had gone with his chief of staff, John Kelly, to visit the Arlington Cemetery gravesite of Kelly's son, Robert, who was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan, and said to Kelly: “I don't get it. What was in it for them?"

The senior Marine Corps officer and The Atlantic, citing sources with firsthand knowledge, also reported that Trump said he didn't want to support the August 2018 funeral of Republican Sen. John McCain, a decorated Navy veteran who spent years as a Vietnam prisoner of war, because he was a “loser.” The Atlantic also reported that Trump was angered that flags were flown at half-staff for McCain, saying: “What the f—- are we doing that for? Guy was a f—-ing loser.”

Trump acknowledged Thursday he was “never a fan” of McCain and disagreed with him, but said he still respected him and approved everything to do with his “first-class triple-A funeral” without hesitation because “I felt he deserved it.”

In 2015, shortly after launching his presidential candidacy, Trump publicly blasted McCain, saying “He’s not a war hero.” He added, “I like people who weren’t captured.”

Trump only amplified his criticism of McCain as the Arizona lawmaker grew critical of his acerbic style of politics, culminating in a late-night “no” vote scuttling Trump’s plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act. That vote shattered what few partisan loyalties bound the two men, and Trump has continued to attack McCain for that vote, even posthumously.

The magazine said Trump also referred to former President George H.W. Bush as a “loser” because he was shot down by the Japanese as a Navy pilot in World War II.
