Yesterday, sore loser Donald Trump had the cheek to brag, on his scam of a platform, that if he had withdrawn the troops from Afghanistan, he would have done a much better than President Biden.

There is only one problem with this statement. HE WAS the one who initiated the full withdrawal of the American troops from Afghanistan on November 16th 2020, after he lost the election by 7 million votes.

"I want all the troops back home before Xmas" he declared in another manic childish tantrum that took Mitch McConnel by surprise.

    source of the information :

Psychiatrist Mary Trump, niece of the corrupt businessman, had warned us: "if he thinks he's going down, Donald will take us all down with him". And he did in Afghanistan.

One may wonder why exactly Trump needed the military back home by January. He may have had better plans for them? Not that General Mark Milley would have complied with his deranged requests anyway.

In yesterday's statement, the 76 year-old Florida pensioner reminded us he was in excellent terms with the Talibans, something we almost forgot about in his loopy whirlwind of attention-deficit driven presidency. His acquaintances with dictators are no secret: Vladimir Putin, Kim Jung Un. Mr Trump also planned to invite the Taliban at Camp David in september 2019 !

Aming the people revolted by his ludicrous ideas, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinsinger, two members of the bipartisan commission collecting the staggering evidence of his failed coup, in the form of a list of threats to Georgia officials and Justice department heroes.

If capital punishment doesn't apply to WHITE and powerful traitors such as Donald J Trump, the United States of America will have showed the level of corruption of their republic.

Abolish death penalty now or administer the final jab to Trump.

What facts are you even posting? Trump wanted to remove troops from an endless war that every RINO and democrat supported, including Clinton Obama and Biden. And didn't Obama dump more kids into the war trying to save some sort of foreign policy victory that failed miserably. We never should have been in that country. But the military industrial complex needed some tax dollars. But you keep living that dream world. You should lay off the cnn. It's not good for your already unstable mental health

Its going to end badly for the west English and US troops fighting side by side to hold the taliban back to enable the US and UK citizens with there helpers to escape. Then the country falls to world terrorist inc.Till the next major attack on the USA or the UK then we will have to go back with a ground war or reduce it to a radioactive wasteland

The Taliban played Trump for the same mentally ill fool that Kim Jong Un did. And this was the move that caused Afghan forces to lose the will to fight because Trump befriended their enemy and turned his back on them.

How Trump’s Plan to Secretly Meet With the Taliban Came Together, and Fell Apart

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/08/world/asia/afghanistan-trump-camp-david-taliban.html

And you make a great point. The betrayal of Afghanistan was actually much earlier than most people remember. The first announcement actually came on November 16, 2020 as spite for losing the election just like Mary Trump predicted.

Trump Administration Wants All U.S. Troops Out Of Iraq And Afghanistan By Spring

    https://www.npr.org/2020/11/17/9359...-troops-out-of-iraq-and-afghanistan-by-spring

And the reason Trump loves dictators is because he wanted to be a dictator for life and came closer to accomplishing that then anyone knew. It actually came down to only two people. Joint Chiefs of staff Mark Milley who refused to let him use the US military and Acting Attorney General Jeffery Rosen who refused to allow him to use the DOJ, So Trump resorted to trying a violent insurrection and attempted coup which only failed because his army of domestic terrorists were just as stupid, ignorant, and incompetent as he is.

Trump had an exit plan...it's painfully obvious that Crimer Boss Biden and the Ho (half cracker 3.0) Administration doesn't....so the U.S. sends in 3000 more troops to assist those Americans in evacuating that shithole Country that knowingly housed Bin Ladin...

You have got to be the stupidest mother fucker to shit between a pair of China made shoes.

The exit plan has already been determined ! It will cost less for us to leave and let China move in ! China wants the Lithium to make batteries for the USA ! It is not worth our efforts to promote rights for women and others in their society ! So when you drive your Tesla down the road ? Think about your hypocrisy !

We plowed the road for China ! Our Govt wants it that way !

I will be honest here. I objected to Trump trying to make a deal with the Taliban and just pulling our troops out. And I object just as much to President Biden doing it when the Taliban was in a position of strength. Trump never should have caved and President Biden should not have followed through. I am disappointed in the planning or lack of same. And stunned they didn't see what seemed obvious to me. The corrupt government and military would collapse as soon as the US pulled out and stopped propping them up. Its been a 20 year free ride on the gravy train under US protection where actually governing would cut into the profits. They got the Taliban to the peace table and that was the time to start beating them back to impress upon them peace was in their best interest.. And instead everyone kissed their asses. And I am all for President Biden calling in airstrikes but I want some of them to be on Pakistan.

I just wanted to get that on the record.

So you wanted out ! You were not so keen when Trump wanted it, but are more keen now that Biden does, Trump backed off from losing, and now Biden loses the war ! etc. etc. You are one double talking piece of shit ! you are as bad as the Afghani cowards who run instead of fighting!

    And why...is....that...the...problem of the U.S.?

Should the U.S. continue to police the entire Planet...at the cost of the U.S. Tax payer?

We gave the Government of Afghanistan the resources to operate against the Taliban/ISIS/AlQueda.

Should the CIA go in overthrow the Afghan Government, the very practice that has been scrutinized by millions of Americans and mostly many in the world?

    Eh...fuck that shithole country.

This is not really about who is right or wrong, Trump or Biden.

It is about the history of the United States trying to fight everyone else's battles for them. If we go into ANY area, Afghanistan or wherever, and fight a war FOR the people of that area against either invaders or local insurgents, eventually we are going to be condemned by 40%, 50% or 60% of our own people for "butting in where we don't belong and having our own young people die."

If we DON'T go in to aid people militarily, eventually we are going to be condemned by 40%, 50% or even 60% of our own people for being "inhumane".

If we go in and fight someone else's war, whether we win or lose, if we EVER withdraw, we are going to be condemned by 40%, 50% or 60% of our own people for wasting lives and money and now leaving the war's aftermath and the people of the region open to a new war, continued attacks or renewed insurgency.

It really does not matter WHO (which president) sends troops in or pulls them out, they are going to be considered "acting irresponsibly", foolishly, inhumanely, etc. It does not matter if that president is a Democrat or a Republican, except to members of the opposition party who are going to stir things up for political purposes.

This is not only stupid, but sad.

This war was the exact reason we should have never let politics run the rules of engagement. We are there to stomp them out. Do it. By every means possible. I've read books where troops where not allowed to directly bomb enemy's positions. But where told to bomb close as a warning to them. What?! We are dropping warning shot bombs instead of just leveling the place. Our troops where tried jn court by civilian lawyers for shooting enemy killers. That's why we lost that war.

Here I have to agree with you. Those decisions were made because the Taliban hole up among civilian populations and we did not want to end up with more civilian casualties than Taliban casualties. While this is certainly humane thinking, we are letting murderers who have no conscience over killing civilian men, women and children throughout the Near East and also target "enemy" civilians through terrorist attacks world-wide on a regular basis.

Civilians were and should have been treated as "collaborators" and shot and bombed just the same!

The taliban says its not going to interfere but how we going to stop 10's of thousands Afghans who what to leave, fighting to get on the aircraft sent for the western citizens. Shoot them and play in to the hands of the taliban who say look what your so called friends have done to you your better off with us.

While I disagree with President Biden on many points about Afghanistan he is definitely right about one thing. If the corrupt Afghan government and military can't root out the rampant corruption and incompetence after 20 years of the US propping them up the problem will not get solved if we stayed 21 years, 25 years. Or 40 years.. And its time to admit that, cut our loses, and pull out.

Just like the cowardly corrupt Afghan president just did.

Afghan president flees country as Taliban takes control of Kabul

    Tom Boggioni
    August 15, 2021

According to a very brief story from Fox News, the president of Afghanistan has fled the country as the Taliban takes over Kabul.

The report states that President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadza has departed, with Reuters reporting he is headed to Tajikistan.

Elsewhere, Afghanistan's warlords vowed defiantly to defend their strongholds from the Taliban and crush the insurgents. But, like the government's forces, they too gave up with surprising ease.

As the insurgents swept through the north in a surprise offensive targeting Afghanistan's anti-Taliban bastion, President Ashraf Ghani called for a national mobilization of militia forces.

Despite Ghani's chequered history with the country's warlords, the beleaguered president was hoping they could help turn the tide.

In the besieged northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif, Ghani was looking to longtime strongman Atta Mohammad Noor and ethnic Uzbek warlord Abdul Rashid Dostum.

Both were known for their dogged defence against the Taliban in the 1990s, and had remained influential figures during the past two decades of war.

In the days leading up to their defeat, the greying commanders appeared to be the fearsome figures from their younger years.

"The Taliban never learn from the past," Dostum told reporters last week after flying back to Mazar-i-Sharif, while offering a not-so-subtle reference to the alleged massacre of the insurgents by his fighters in 2001.

"The Taliban have come to the north several times but they were always trapped. It is not easy for them to get out."

Noor took to social media to issue his own warnings, posting graphic pictures of Taliban killed by his troops while promising to fight to the death.

"I prefer dying in dignity than dying in despair," wrote Noor on Twitter, alongside other defiant posts vowing to "defend the nation".

In a video posted to Facebook on Saturday, Noor spoke calmly to camera dressed in military fatigues while rifle fire could be heard close by.

    'Cowardly plot'

Ultimately, bravado did not beat back the insurgents.

Late Saturday, both men's militias were routed after the Afghan military units they were supporting surrendered to the Taliban.

Dostum and Noor fled across the nearby Uzbek border.

Noor claimed they had been the victims of deep-seated betrayal, saying on Twitter their resistance came to an end "as a result of a big organised & cowardly plot".

    He offered no other details.

Video posted on pro-Taliban social media accounts, meanwhile, showed a group of young Taliban fighters combing through Dostum's gaudy residence, digging through cabinets and testing out overstuffed furniture.

Their rout came days after fellow strongman Ismail Khan was captured by Taliban fighters in the western city of Herat.

Khan had in the lead-up to his defeat sounded like the same powerful figure who had ruled his fiefdom with such authority for decades that he earned the nickname "Lion of Herat".

"We demand all the remaining security forces resist with courage," Khan said last month.

But with a look of resignation, Khan was on Friday forced to pose for pictures with Taliban fighters and give an interview to an insurgent media outlet.

After all the hefty promises and chest thumping, it was a humiliating end.

I'm more surprised by this than the fall of Kabul. I thought the northern provinces would remain a no go zone for the Taliban for some time to come.

'They walked down this path': Liz Cheney reams Trump and Pompeo over Afghanistan failures

    David Edwards
    August 15, 2021

    ABC News/screen grab

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Sunday suggested that former President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo share responsibility after the U.S. faced difficulties while withdrawing from Afghanistan.

During an appearance on ABC, host Jonathan Karl pointed out that the Trump had administration had negotiated with the Taliban for a complete withdrawal that was scheduled to take place earlier this year.

"I think absolutely President Biden bears responsibility for making this decision," Cheney replied. "But there is no question that President Trump, his administration and Secretary [Mike Pompeo], they bear very significant responsibility for this."

"They walked down this path of legitimizing the Taliban, of perpetuating this fantasy, telling the American people that the Taliban were a partner for peace," she continued. "President Trump told us that the Taliban was going to fight terror. Secretary Pompeo told us that the Taliban was going to renounce Al Qaeda. None of that has happened. None of it has happened."

Cheney added: "The notion in the Trump administration, they said we're going to invite the Taliban to Camp David. This disaster certainly began -- this notion that we're going to end endless wars, that campaign slogan, what we're watching right now in Afghanistan is what happens when America withdraws from the world. So, everybody who is saying America needs to withdraw, America needs to retreat -- we're getting a catastrophic real-time lesson in what that means."
