All right. So, I posted my first story at literotica and it was rejected because my 18-year-old high school graduate main character was under 18. Don't try to understand it, just bask in the absurdity.

I've now posted it here at sexstories, and looking forward to seeing what this board thinks. Wish me luck.

Should additional stories/chapters be posted within the same thread as the original story, or can they be posted as their own thread without disturbing the peace?

So far I've added them as new posts within the original thread. I wonder if that increases or decreases exposure.

 

Question about the sexstories site, are we limited to just bold, underline and italics? Is there any other formatting allowed? I am currently writing a story and wondering how to best present a conversation via text message. Any suggestions?

 

Where might I find a place to have some of my work edited? I want my story to be reader friendly

I've literally tried to upload all my stories to literotica and they always get denied with no explanation. However, a guy uploaded my stolen story on there and they published it until I flagged it enough times.

Welcome! If you are looking to post on this side, loading a story is just like the post you made. If you are talking about the story side, once you log in there is an option called "post a new story." This has a form to use when submitting a story.

Good luck with your stories. If you need any editing help, just let me know, happy to help out.

 

Do be careful when posting. If your story was written in Word or a simple text editor it may be reformatted by this forum or by the form on the other site. Check that your paragraphs, etc are aligned correctly. You may need to go through it to fix it.

Hi group, question...what do you call it when you find an interesting story, the author is building up to an important event in the story and then the author stops writing and does not finish the story? I tried to post a story. I explained that I am now 38 with four kids aged 10 to 16 and was refused for having an underaged story. The story occurred when I was 18 so I had to edit it, but it's obvious the people here did not actually read the story.

 

No. A person is definitely not reading all these stories

 

These spam posts on EVERY....SINGLE....NEW...STORY are getting really annoying. I'm tired of reporting these to the admins. I must be a total sucker, since I look at a new posting and think I have a real comment and then see this.

It is the 10 year old that is the problem. You have to say I have four school age children, and leave a bit to the imagination. If there are minor's mentioned then it is a problem, they don't want Pedophiles on the site (and can I blame them?). But you do have to get create in your writing. In my last of the Megan and Kyle series, the very last paragraph I initially described the ages of the babies pulled out of the car, x months old. NOPE. Had to go back and clean that up. Also don't use the word infant. Anybody reading that story will know it is there just the provide closure, but there are some strong lines in the sand being drawn. Other sites are even worse, just about any mention of someone under 18 gets banned. In that site's case even if it is just in passing and a remark to move the plot along and nothing dirty about it.

One thing I have seen is refer to the grade of the student, but that really only works when they are in high school. Anything younger is frowned upon.
