Used to have that problem until shooter made a new rule: a dish in the bedroom is a week of washing dishes. Enforced it exactly once.

 

Sometimes it takes that intense, brutal near death experience for some people to realize it. The first time I got shot at gave me much clarity

My previous comment was intended with admiration for @aesopstails diligence & effort. I don't usually open threads that obviously don't belong in GD but this AM I did & I saw more than one where she wrote a detailed reply, not being rude or sarcastic, and ended by suggesting the OP move it to another forum. Sorry if I came across as a boorish cad.

 

Thanks for that. I read the initial comment as a negative critique. I’m usually pretty sarcastic, and have been told that doesn’t always translate well in writing, so I should have realized there were different ways to interpret that. Cheers.

 

I've had to do that, and used my daughter's...one time was bubble gum cause I'm that kind of dad lol. The other was something fruity too. Good stuff

That's what I was told, too. How did I not ever know this? I've gotten nosebleeds my whole life and had no idea that's how you stop them. They also gave me some stylish nose clamps to take home, as well as a bottle of Afrin. I got another nosebleed last night and got it to stop right away!

And yeah, nosebleeds on blood thinners are something, aren't they?

 

You find blood spatter for weeks after.

 

I was on Brilinta after a heart attack. I get nosebleeds all the time anyway, but when I was on that it was just awful. They'd last for hours.

Yeah, that's a drag. You would think that people would be making deals to get stuff streaming - it appears to be a complex issue - I've watched movies on Prime that said they would only be available until a certain date. Licensing.

Same with photos. I see a lot of those "let's swap pix" things. If it's something I'm willing to show, it's already been shown in the forums. We've posted pictures of me with multiple men at the same time. What exactly does he think I've held back for PM.
I don't mind if someone has read something we posted and want some follow up or explanation but if they're looking for stroking material, they can go elsewhere.

The funny thing is that when I was new here, it was very upsetting to me if someone didn't believe I am a female, but now that I've been around the block a few times, I couldn't care less if they think that.

 

Kevin signed up as a "male" account but he started reading me some posts and I'd reply. He'd type my response and people started giving him shit, saying he was pretending to be a woman but his profile said he was male.
He asked the admins to change it and they did.
He still does most of the typing if I'm busy doing something else but if he's answering as me, he tells me what he typed and I OK it before he sends it.
He's watching football (American) and I don't reallly care either way about the two teams playing so I'm fiddling around here.

Years ago I used to listen and pretend to be interested, keep them on the line for half an hour asking questions discussing making a big offer, how to pay,"I dont have a credit card, How can I pay?" anything to keep them attentive.
Particularly when my non existent grandson called from a jail.
As of late most of them are now pre recorded, requires pushing "1" to get a human voice,

 

Not on my flip phone. One of the things it does that smart phones don't seem to be able to do is block calls.
If you're not in my contacts list, you can't call me.
My phone never rings and I never get a missed call notice.
It's like you never called.
Why a $1,000 iPhone or Galaxy can't do that is beyond me.

Exactly!!! And by the time that the heart of the meeting is met, I’m disinterested and too busy thinking about your boobs to really care..

Worse is when they decline your help but come back to you later asking for help.
