"Regulated Capitalism" everything else is going to fail. Even regulated capitalism is doomed if your stupid ass regulations favor the accumulation of excessive wealth. Its really fucking simple. If you have 100 people, and 95 people LOSE 1 dollar is wealth, but the other 5 each gain 20 dollars, then as bad as economy really is, with 95 people failing, the numbers still look good, total income is up! That is America today... The middle class is disappearing, opportunities for working your way out of poverty are non existent, and our indicators of economic growth are skyrocketing. It all traces back to the Reagan tax cut and the bullshit called supply side economics.

When Shooter got engaged we of course had to tell the family, and our gatherings can run over 150 people.
So anoying cousin wanted to see the ring, and made the remark "oh. But you'll get a much nicer one after the wedding?"
To which Shooters future wife quipped "well no, we hadn't thought it was that important. But, lets see yours and maybe we'll buy yours instead".
You see, the bitch had just been dumped by her hubby of 2 years for a college football player.......

Gotta say, after driving in most states and areas of America;
California drivers got their poop inna group more than anywhere else.
They are surely better than Colorado drivers, and for damn sure better than Irish drivers, and oh, so much better than New York drivers.
But it is fun to poke at them sometimes.
