For a good laugh just search the forum for "revolution" by member "shootersa" and you will see at one time congressional corruption was his hottest topic. But then you will also see how that only applied to Democrats when Trump and his treasonous /Republicans get a free pass.

Its actually quite humorous and entertaining to see phony hypocrisy to the core.

Well no. The great revolutionary only went after Democrats and gave treasonous conservative/Republicans a free pass. And another great laugh is the purpose of the "revolution" was to vote corrupt members of Congress out. And the great revolutionary got his wish. Many members of Congress were voted out. But then because many of the new members of Congress were Democrats like AOC the great revolutionary turned on them and has been attacking them ever since. Its all right here on the forum in white and blue.

GOP lawmaker failed to disclose millions in stock trades in 'apparent violation of federal law': report

    Brad Reed
    June 29, 2021

A freshman Republican congressman from Texas has failed to properly disclose millions of dollars in stock trades this year in what appears to be a violation of federal law.

Business Insider reports that Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) took months to disclose 90 separate stock transactions that the publication estimates are worth between $7.8 million and $17.5 million.

"By federal law, members of Congress have 30 days from when they become aware of a stock trade to formally disclose it in a certified report to the clerk of the House of Representatives," Business Insider notes. "His untimely reporting could prompt an ethics investigation or fine."

Fallon spokesman Luke Ball admitted to Business Insider that the congressman failed to disclose his stock transactions in a timely fashion, but he chalked it up to Fallon's unfamiliarity with disclosure rules, despite the fact that Fallon underwent congressional ethics training that went over those rules.

"As a freshman member, Congressman Fallon was unfamiliar with how frequently members of Congress are required to file financial disclosures, having served in other public offices where the requirements are different," Ball said. "Upon learning of the requirement, he immediately filed a disclosure with the appropriate entities. That disclosure is available for the public to review. Congressman Fallon looks forward to remaining in compliance with future filings."

'Overt act of fraud': Feds aim to seize condo purchased by Trump confidant Roger Stone in wake of criminal indictment

    John Wright

The Department of Justice is attempting to seize a $400,000 condo purchased by Trump confidant Roger Stone weeks after his January 2019 criminal indictment.

Although Trump commuted Stone's prison sentence for lying to Congress, the DOJ is pursuing a civil lawsuit against him.

According to the Daily Beast, the DOJ considers the condo purchase "an overt act of fraud." Stone somehow managed to secure a mortgage for the condo despite owing the IRS $2 million and facing a $1.5 million federal lien.

Martin Sheil, a former special agent in the IRS' criminal division, said: "For this transaction, I'd use the term 'shady.' I don't know why anybody would loan them money," referring to Stone and his wife, Nydia.

As it turns out, the mortgage lender says he wasn't even aware at the time that the Stones were involved — otherwise, he would have called off the deal. And one of the attorneys who facilitated the transaction, RE/MAX FIRST general counsel Paul Caillaud, faces allegations involving sexual abuse of minors.

"Meanwhile, Stone continues to raise cash for his defense fund," the Daily Beast reports. "A disclaimer on the online donations portal says the fund and Stone are one and the same: 'Under the Internal Revenue Code, all contributions to the Roger Stone Legal Defense Fund are considered gifts to Roger Stone.' It also has this warning: 'Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.'"

Yet another Trump scheme to cajole supporters into giving him money

America's panhandler in chief, Donald Trump, just proved beyond all doubt that he has no idea what is in the Constitution he took an oath to defend.

Trump today sent me and millions of others a text begging for money to finance federal lawsuits filed in Florida against Facebook, Google, Twitter and their chief executive officers for "UNCONSTITUTIONAL CENSORSHIP."

Trump is, at least for now, banned from their platforms for breaking their rules.

Had Trump ever read the First Amendment, he would know it applies to the government, not businesses. "Congress shall make no law" is the opening line. The amendment is only 45 words, so it shouldn't challenge even Trump's poor reading comprehension skills.

As interpreted by our Supreme Court, our Constitution prohibits only the government from censoring speech. Even that is not absolute.

Our Constitution says nothing about businesses turning away people because they violate company policies. Facebook, Google and Twitter have policies that people consent to when they click those "I agree to the terms of service" buttons to get access. On a simplistic level think of restaurants with this sign on the door: No Shoes No Shirt No Service.

    Dictatorial Thinking
Trump has in the past said he would get Congress to pass laws so that no one could write or say things about him he doesn't like. That went nowhere, but it did show his Kim Jong-Un dictatorial thinking.

While Trump didn't use any North Korean firing squads to silence critics, he spent four years laying siege to the First Amendment and to the government being accountable to the people

Donald believes he should be president and that we should overturn the will of the people who rejected him out by a margin of seven million votes in favor of Joe Biden, who got more than 51% of the vote.

There are advocates for expanding the First Amendment to include businesses – many of them funded by the Koch Brothers and other super-wealthy business owners. They want to shrink our government to weaken its power to protect us, leaving them even more free to profit from polluting, paying workers less, and shifting the burden of taxes onto you. Charles Koch and his brother David, who died in 2019, sent a letter in 2012 basically instructing their more than 100,000 employees to vote for Mitt Romney. It had no legal effect. Since voting is secret, it didn't stop votes for Barrack Obama, either. But the intent is clear: surrender your liberty to billionaire business owners.

    Kock Brothers Ideas
Here is an excellent example of the idea that the First Amendment should apply to businesses. It comes from a Koch-funded ideological marketing organization.

The text I got today from the former president asking for a donation didn't link to any lawsuit. The people he deceives probably wouldn't read it if he did.

What's going on here is yet another Trump scheme to cajole supporters into giving him money.

Trump's misconduct has reduced him to pleading from alms, a pitch that works on the gullible and ill-informed. No wonder Donald, using the royal "we," often says, "we love the poorly educated." His schemes deceive the poorly educated with ease, helping him drain their pockets so he can keep his flailing Trump Organization afloat.

For sure, Trump needs lots of cash to pay lawyers as law enforcement finally closes in on him after decades of his successes in outmaneuvering police and prosecutors.

Two things you can count on from Trump's latest plea for alms:

    One, it will raise money.

Two, the CEOs of Facebook, Google parent Alphabet, and Twitter — Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Jack Dorsey – won't lose a wink of sleep over this. Indeed, their companies likely can get a court to order making Trump pay their legal costs to have the cases dismissed as frivolous.

It just amazes me that treasonous conservative/Republicans never get tired of Trump and his family just scamming them for money. Which proves they are actually cult followers that have suspended all disbelief for their Chosen One. Even if they actually do file suit its dead on arrival for two reasons. One the First Amendment only applies to government censorship not private companies. And they agreed to the terms of service when they signed up.

Donald Trump Jr. asked for money for his dad's lawsuits on Telegram -- it didn’t go well

When President Donald Trump announced his lawsuit against social media companies on Wednesday, a large fundraising operation followed. The former Trump campaign sent out emails, text messages, and Donald Trump Jr. took to Telegram to beg for cash.

The problem, however, is that it didn't quite go the way he may have expected. The Twitter account Patriot Takes, affiliated with the liberal group MeidasTouch, follows the so-called "free speech" sites and apps like Telegram, where QAnon members, white supremacists and Nazis are welcome to promote their ideologies.

One user told Donald Trump Jr. not to use WinRed for fundraising because the website scammed them, "backing fraud in November" and that all of their donations went somewhere else. Trump's account on WinRed was part of the scam that was taking reoccurring payments from supporters' accounts that they didn't know they signed up for.

Another user said that they weren't handing over any money until they "fix the election."

Someone saying their name is Scottie Hall said that Don Jr. should tell his father "to help me out. His (sic) a billionaire. Help me back. Q said you all bad med beds. Let's see them . (sic) Help a billionaire are you joking. You all a psyop (sic)."

Another person echoed the same sentiment saying that no one should have to "donate in order for your dad to sue."

"He is a BILLIONAIRE! (sic)" the person said. "Something isn't adding up here."

GOP online fundraising company seeks to block multiple investigations after bombshell NYT exposé: report

    Bob Brigham

Following a bombshell report by The New York Times, multiple states began investigating Republican fundraising efforts during the Trump era.

"Four state attorneys general have begun looking into the online fund-raising practices of both political parties, specifically seeking information about the use of prechecked boxes to enroll contributors in recurring donation programs that spurred a wave of fraud complaints and demands for refunds last year," Shane Goldmacher reported for the newspaer. "WinRed revealed the existence of the letter from the attorneys general in a Federal District Court filing this week, as the firm is seeking to stop any state-level investigation, arguing federal law should pre-empt any such effort."

The investigations are being conducted by attorneys general Keith Ellison (D-MN), Brian Frosh (D-MD), Letitia James (D-NY), and William Tong (D-CT).

"The letters were sent in late April, shortly after a New York Times investigation showed how the Trump operation had deployed — and then obscured with extraneous text — prechecked boxes that automatically enrolled contributors into recurring donation programs, taking out money as often as every week. A second prechecked box took out what the campaign called a 'money bomb' donation. The practice caused a surge of credit card fraud complaints and the Trump operation ultimately refunded more than 10 percent of what it raised on WinRed in 2020 — $122 million. The Biden operation refunded a far smaller share of its online 2020 fund-raising: 2.2 percent," The Times reported.

The initial story by the newspaper was titled, "How Trump Steered Supporters Into Unwitting Donations."

"The sheer magnitude of the money involved is staggering for politics. In the final two and a half months of 2020, the Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee and their shared accounts issued more than 530,000 refunds worth $64.3 million to online donors. All campaigns make refunds for various reasons, including to people who give more than the legal limit. But the sum the Trump operation refunded dwarfed that of Joseph R. Biden Jr.'s campaign and his equivalent Democratic committees, which made 37,000 online refunds totaling $5.6 million in that time," the newspaper reported in April. "In effect, the money that Mr. Trump eventually had to refund amounted to an interest-free loan from unwitting supporters at the most important juncture of the 2020 race."

Trump's inaugural committee chairman arrested amid criminal probe of allegedly misused funds

The chairman of former President Donald Trump's 2017 inauguration has been arrested amid a continuing investigation into inauguration funds that were allegedly misused.

NBC News' Tom Winter reports that longtime Trump friend Thomas Barrack was arrested by federal agents in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The United States Department of Justice now says that it is charging Barrack for participating in an illegal political influence campaign at the behest of the government of the United Arab Emirates.

Acting Assistant Attorney General Mark Lesko of the Justice Department's National Security Division said that Barrack and three other codefendants are being charged with acting and conspiring to act as agents of the UAE.

Additionally, Barrack faces separate charges of obstruction of justice and making multiple false statements to law enforcement officials.

Barrack has been the subject of much legal scrutiny over the years, including an investigation into potential tax fraud in Italy. He has also reportedly been under scrutiny of investigators for his role in allegedly pushing the Trump administration to give Saudi Arabia the green light for a major expansion of its nuclear energy program.
