Isn't it cute how Trump supporters want everybody to forget the embarrassing failure of Trump's Presidency, with the hope he'll get another shot at it.

I have yet to find a Trump supporter who will defend Trump's record, so they ask us all to look the other way while they scrub the spray tan stains out of Trumps shirt collars.

I have to laugh at that myself. One because all the treasonous conservative/Republicans did is scream about President Obama and Hillary Clinton for 4 years. And then again because both Trump and treasonous conservative/Republicans say Trump is the leader of the Republican party. And then finally with Trump facing multiple criminal investigations and new scandals from his administration unfolding on a nearly daily basis of course Trump is in the news.

But its also laughable because as you point out treasonous conservative/Republicans elected the most mentally ill, stupid and ignorant, corrupt, incompetent, treasonous, and deadly president in US history and gladly followed him all the way to treason against the United States of America. And now just want us to pretend Trump never existed and we should just forget all about him.

    What a hoot.

How arrogant that bron still thinks anyone owes him a defense of trump.

All we've had to do over the last 5 years is point out the lies, propaganda and bullshit you've been flinging at the trump administration.

And now that he's no longer the president and despicables continue to howl about trump, all we have to do is look in your ears and see trump in there waving back.:D

Could you repeat that part about "he's no longer president."

Nobody is going to defend Trump because it's too embarrassing. Why would anyone be owed such a thing. It's ridiculous to ask someone to stand up in public look like a fool.

However, plenty are eager to pretend Trump is a thing of the past and the rest of us are being silly for being concerned about the damage done by the only Presidential candidate to fail to win a majority of votes in 2 elections.

It probably has something to do with public exposure of why Trump never released his tax returns, after saying he would. Melania didn't mind appearing in public with a known liar, but she draws the line at felon.

Trump Wanted Military to ‘Beat the F*ck’ Out of George Floyd Protesters, ‘Just Shoot Them,’ Says New Book

Former President Donald Trump had an aggressive reaction to his fellow Americans protesting the death of George Floyd, reportedly telling his team that he wanted the military to “beat the f*ck” out of them, “just shoot them.”

The shocking claims are in a new book by the Wall Street Journal’s Michael Bender, ‘Frankly, We Did Win This Election’: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, reported CNN’s Jake Tapper, who described the excerpt as “paint[ing] a disturbing picture of Trump’s White House in his final months in office.”

On June 1, 2020, Bender wrote, as Trump watched televised scenes of police growing violent with mostly peaceful protesters, he told his top law and military officers “that’s how you’re supposed to handle these people…Crack their skulls!”

“Beat the f*ck” out of the protesters, “just shoot them,” Trump reportedly continued.

After his advisers objected, the former president backed down from murder to maiming. “Well, shoot them in the leg — or maybe the foot, but be hard on them.”

“That’s the President of the United States watching from the safety of the Oval Office,” said Tapper, “while Americans who were peacefully protesting the horrific killing of George Floyd and some that were doing so not so peacefully were beaten and tear gassed just steps away from the White House.”

“This is the then-President of the United States talking about his fellow Americans,” Tapper continued, turning to former Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) for her reaction. “It may be hard for folks to be shocked by Trump’s words, but this might be a new low. What do you think?”

“Unfortunately it doesn’t surprise me at all,” replied Love. “When you have a person that cares more about their own perception, that cares more about themselves, than they do about the American people, every single thing is transactional. It just seems to me that every single issue in the United States had more to do with him and how he was going to come out of it than actually solving the issue.”

Bender’s book “pointed out some things that we already know, and some things that were even more ugly than we thought,” added Love, “but it doesn’t surprise me, Jake, unfortunately.”

Trump blew up on Gen. Milley in obscenity-filled Situation Room screaming match: report

According to a report from Jonathan Swan from Axios, at the height of street protests related to police shootings of Black Americans, Donald Trump got into a shouting match with Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley over the use of military in the streets.

Quoting from the upcoming book "Frankly, We Did Win the Election," by the Wall Street Journal's Michael Bender, Trump's blow-up with the general included an exchange where the former president yelled at Milley, "You can't f*cking talk to me like that!" with former Attorney General Bill Barr being forced to intercede.

Swan reports the following exchange, as detailed by Bender ,who wrote, "Privately, Milley confronted Trump about his role. He was an adviser, and not in command. But Trump had had enough":

"I said you're in f-cking charge!" Trump shouted at him.

"Well, I'm not in charge!" Milley yelled back.

"You can't f-cking talk to me like that!" Trump said. ...

"Goddamnit," Milley said to others. "There's a room full of lawyers here. Will someone inform him of my legal responsibilities?"

"He's right, Mr. President," Barr said. "The general is right."

Asked for comment about the exchange, a spokesperson for the former president stated: "This is totally fake news, it never ever happened. I'm not a fan of Gen. Milley, but I never had an argument with him and the whole thing is false. He never talked back to me. Michael Bender never asked me about it and it's totally fake news."

4 Wildest Claims From Michael Wolff’s New Book Excerpt, From Boozing Giuliani to Ivanka’s Actions on Jan. 6

Michael Wolff, the author of several explosive best-sellers on the presidency of Donald Trump, is coming out with a third tome on the last administration. An excerpt of the latest book — Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency — was published by New York magazine on Monday and includes a series of bombshell claims about the final days of the Trump White House — specifically January 6, when a horde of Trump supporters violently stormed the Capitol in an effort to overturn the 2020 election.

It should be noted that Wolff has been accused of flouting journalistic rigor in his books on Trump (you can read his defense of his reporting here). With that in mind, here are the four wildest claims from the first excerpt from Landslide.

    1. Trump’s advisers fled, and those remaining declined to tell him that Pence actually could not throw out the election

By January, many of Trump’s top advisers had fled the White House. Steve Mnuchin was in Sudan, Jared Kushner was in the Middle East. Kayleigh McEnany, according to Wolff, “had been strategically missing in action for several weeks.” (It would later turn out that McEnany was in the middle of applying for a job at Fox News).

A few aides remained, including chief of staff Mark Meadows, social media manager Dan Scavino, and adviser Jason Miller.

And as January 6 approached, Trump became convinced that Pence would reject the electors and thereby challenge Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 election.

According to Wolff, all of the remaining aides knew that Pence was not going to reject the electors. But none had told Trump that. Even after the violence at the Capitol erupted, where supporters marched through the Capitol building seeking to lynch Pence, Trump was attacking his vice president over his refusal to even try.

    2. Giuliani, allegedly sauced, fed delusion until the bitter end

While his aides knew Pence would not reject the electors, one outside adviser to Trump continued to insist on the delusion that he might.

Rudy Giuliani was described by Wolff as the only person, aside from Trump, who truly believed Pence could anoint Trump winner of the 2020 election.

“The president’s aides (and family) understood, too, that he was the only one (along with Giuliani, which only made the situation more alarming) in any professional political sphere to believe this,” Wolff wrote.

Giuliani was also described as a complete mess: ‘The one person Trump did have at his side, Rudy Giuliani, was drinking heavily and in a constant state of excitation, often almost incoherent in his agitation and mania.”

“Both men, egged on by hypotheticals ever nearer to fantasy and after exhausting all other options, had come to take it as an article of faith that the vice-president could simply reject Biden electors in favor of Trump ones and thereby hand the election to Trump,” Wolff wrote.

Giuliani allegedly told Trump: “There is no question, none at all, that the VP can do this. That’s a fact. The Constitution gives him the authority not to certify. It goes back to the state legislatures.”

    3. Team Trump tried to turn Parler into a post-presidency propaganda machine

As part of the Trump family’s efforts to get Donald to leave the White House in a sane fashion, they approached the social media platform Parler, which was popular with supporters of Trump and funded by the Mercers.

According to Wolff, the proposal was as follows:

They had floated a proposition that Trump, after he left office, become an active member of Parler, moving much of his social-media activity there from Twitter. In return, Trump would receive 40 percent of Parler’s gross revenues and the service would ban anyone who spoke negatively about him.

That last condition — which would outlaw speaking ill of the Dear Leader — was apparently not accepted by Parler, a platform whose entire raison d’être is a rejection of partisan moderation.

    4. During the insurrection Ivanka was focused on her kids getting into a private school

Protestors began clashing with police at barriers outside the Capitol building around 1 p.m. After about an hour of violence, the mob breached the doors of the Capitol just after 2 p.m. Moments after Pence was evacuated from the Senate chamber, Trump attacked him as a coward on Twitter. Around 2:30 p.m., aides convinced Trump to send out another tweet, written by Scavino, that urged the protestors to remain peaceful.

As the Capitol was being ransacked by a mob chanting “hang Mike Pence,” lawmakers were being evacuated, and one protestor trying to breach the Speaker’s Lobby was shot dead by police, Ivanka Trump was apparently pre-occupied.

    Per Wolff:

Ivanka Trump had been floating around the West Wing, chatting to a variety of people. Her children had gotten into private school in Florida, and she was pleased about this — an excited topic of conversation. She was pulled away from her discussion about schools to join the increasingly tense debate about how to respond to the news.

    Reality eventually set in:

At the same time, no one in the White House was seeing this as the full-on assault on the Capitol and the nail in the coffin of the Trump administration that the world would shortly understand it to be; they were, for perhaps another 90 minutes or so, still treating this as “an optics issue,” as Ivanka was putting it.

It wasn’t until later in the three o’clock hour that Trump seemed to begin the transition from seeing the mob as people protesting the election — defending him so he would defend them — to seeing them as “not our people.” Therefore, he bore no responsibility for them.

Trump 'exploded' at Birx for making him feel 'depressed' because she wouldn't whitewash COVID dangers: authors

President Donald Trump rants on the White House South Lawn (Screen cap).

The authors of a new book about former President Donald Trump's handling of the novel coronavirus pandemic told CNN's Erica Hill on Tuesday that Trump last year angrily chewed out Drs. Deborah Birx and Anthony Fauci for making him feel "depressed" about the novel coronavirus pandemic.

While appearing on CNN, Washington Post reporters Damian Paletta and Yasmine Abutaleb explained the delicate balance that Birx and other public health officials had to strike in trying to get Trump to back public health measures aimed at containing the virus.

All the same, Paletta said, no amount of flattery delivered by Birx could help her escape Trump's wrath.

"It was in July, late July, and the president summoned them up -- Birx, Fauci, and others -- into the oval office for a meeting," he said. "And he just exploded at them and told Dr. Birx that every time she opens her mouth that he gets depressed. And he told Dr. Fauci that he feels like he spends half his day responding to things that Tony Fauci says and he's the president of the United States."

Paletta said that the stories of Trump erupting at his own public health officials was a sign of how "crazy" things got last year.

Sounds like its going to be another bad one.

And take note that according to treasonous conservative/Republicans everyone is a liar except Trump. Even though more than a dozen books about Trump's presidency all document most of the same things. A president that was mentally unfit for office and an administration in a constant state of chaos, dysfunction and incompetence. Including the most deadly incompetence in IS history killing more than a half million Americans with lies and a string of failures.

Trump was terrified that Jeffrey Epstein's girlfriend would pull him into the scandal

Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein (MSNBC)

Jeffrey Epstein and President Donald Trump appeared to be close in several photos and videos of the two over the past 30 years. But according to Michael Wolff's new book, Trump was terrified that the arrest of a longtime girlfriend of Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, would embroil him in the Epstein scandal.

Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency describes the former president as sitting lonely at Mar-a-Lago begging others for advice about lawyers he could hire to help him face his mounting lawsuits.

"Has she said anything about me?" Trump wondered. "Is she going to talk? Will she roll on anybody?"

The Lincoln Project has publicly shamed legal firms willing to work with Trump, turning many to pull away from the bad press.

Then there's the matter of Trump being known for not paying his legal bills. A 2016 report in USA Today revealed that Trump wouldn't pay carpenters or painters working on his new projects.

Now, Rudy Giuliani is facing the reality of Trump's lack of payment. It's something that Trump is "annoyed" about, according to the book. He doesn't think that Giuliani should be paid for his election challenge work because he never won any of the suits.

Some RNC Staffers Refused to Vote for Trump in 2020, Book Claims
    POWER STRUGGLE

Some Republican National Committee staffers refused to vote for former President Trump in the 2020 election, according to an upcoming book from Michael Bender, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Fox News obtained excerpts from the book, Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, that detail tensions between Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien, who had replaced Brad Parscale, and RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. “One major change when Stepien took over as campaign manager was the reelection campaign’s relationship with the Republican National Committee. Friction remained from the 2016 race between Stepien and much of Ronna’s senior leadership team. Ronna was running the Michigan Republican Party during that race, but Stepien disapproved of her decision to keep many of those same RNC staffers in her orbit,” an excerpt reads.

McDaniel was reportedly “often left on the outside looking in.” “Stepien was correct to question the loyalty and dedication of Ronna’s staff to Trump. The president’s handling of Covid and the White House’s treatment of Ronna had top staffers inside the RNC openly musing—for the first time in their lives—about not voting for the Republican nominee for president. Ultimately, some did not cast their Election Day ballot for Trump,” the book alleges. An RNC spokesperson said the claims are “not true.” “There was no organization or team more dedicated to re-electing President Trump than the RNC,” the spokesperson said.

I am not surprised in the least. Trump wanted to be a dictator just like Hitler. And even though he didn't make it Trump still managed to get off on killing about a half million Americans.

Trump Reportedly Told Chief of Staff: Hitler Did a Lot of Good Things

A lot of books are hitting the shelves right now promising to tell the shocking untold story about the Trump era—but this outrageous claim is going to be pretty hard to beat. An upcoming book by the Wall Street Journal’s Michael Bender recounts a remark from then-President Donald Trump in which he lavished praise on Adolf Hitler. The book—titled Frankly, We Did Win This Election—claims that Trump was talking to his chief of staff John Kelly on a 2018 visit to Europe to mark the centenary of the end of the first world war. Bender reports that Kelly was trying to teach Trump about the history of the conflict and he “connected the dots from the first world war to the second world war and all of Hitler’s atrocities.” Trump is said to have responded: “Well, Hitler did a lot of good things.” Kelly reportedly chided Trump to his face, telling him: “You cannot ever say anything supportive of Adolf Hitler. You just can’t.”

Liz Harrington, a spokesperson for Trump, said in a statement: “This is totally false. President Trump never said this. It is made up fake news, probably by a general who was incompetent and was fired.”

General Milley feared Trump loyalists given last-minute DoD jobs had 'ties to neo-Nazi groups': bombshell book

Toward the end of his one term in office, former President Donald Trump appointed several loyalists to key positions within defense and intelligence agencies -- and some of them alarmed Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

An explosive new excerpt published in the Wall Street Journal of a new book by reporter Michael C. Bender claims that Milley was so worried about some of the appointees that he "asked some Pentagon officials whether the new hires had ties to neo-Nazi groups."

The excerpt does not list which hires Milley was concerned had ties to Nazi groups.

One particularly controversial hire at the time was retired Army Brig. Gen. Anthony J. Tata, a conspiracy theorist who called former President Barack Obama a "Muslim" and a "terrorist leader."

Other hires included Trump loyalists Kash Patel and Ezra Cohen-Watnick, both of whom had very limited experience in military and intelligence matters.
