The way it is today its just a formality when women had no way to provide for themselves. A man would have to be a fool to get married today, especially if he had money...MGTOW

 

A working married couple can sock away a lot of money in retirement accounts than a single man. Plus they get better tax breaks.
God how I love my wife.

The most problem with women are that they are spendthreaft. I ve always to hold my my wify back. It is almost impossible to do repair in the house with her. Every time I say to meself never again. Though after I like how it comes out. For me having a certain sum of money back is better than good furniture or other. Cause I think having big money is freedom.

 

i was married for 21 years and can say for my part, with the right mate, there's nothing better, you have everything you need again, with the right partner it can't be beat. but, with the wrong partner...a living hell is what you get. young people need to know this. if after a few years it sucks work it out, don't quit after a fight or two.

 

on the other hand i can say from experience...life's a bitch...til you divorce one!

 

Marriage is work. I don't think we really educate our youth anymore to understand that. When you go through tough times together, when you stay best friends through the times you aren't "in love" anymore, when you discover that REAL love isn't hormonal, its choice and commitment, you build something strong. I am saying that as a divorcee, hypocrite I suppose, but my ex wife and I survived divorce as best friends and are still very strong together as parents and friends. Call me old fashioned, but I think that making marriage so easy to give up on is what made it weaker. But I also know plenty of people who needed a way to escape a bad marriage as well, so I can't say making divorce too easy was a bad thing either... oh well, no easy answer.

 

I'm going on twenty plus years. I'm good at marriage she's not, pity.

 

Never had a Wife, Made it without one, often tried to find one, never found one I would ask to be one, Well, there was one, and she doesn't want to be caught, so fuck me ! So Fuck the whole idea !

 

After a 22 year marriage, 3 years separated my advice is simple, DONT !
