Professor spat on Black woman and her 4-year-old daughter because 'he doesn't like Black people': prosecutors

 

Liberals think we should understand why people behave the way they do. Often they recommend understanding to the point of forgiveness. Before I pass judgment on that professor I would like to know why he does not like black people. I would also like to know if the black woman and her four year old daughter were behaving in ways that reinforced that dislike.

 

The Republican Party has become nationally what the Democrat Party used to be in the South: it has become the party of the white majority. Consequently, if is in the interest of a Republican politician to establish his or her credentials as a white advocate. The Republican Party has also become the party of the white Christian majority.



Ted Cruz never really said this. He wins elections because Republican voters know he thinks this way.

 

Before I criticize the police task force in Beverly Hills I would like to know if the streets have gotten safer as a result of the new policy.

Missouri High-School Students Spark Outrage With Petition Calling for Return of Slavery

A Missouri school district has been left reeling after several high-school students reportedly started a petition demanding the reinstatement of slavery, The Kansas City Star reports. Details on the incident are scarce, with a spokesperson for the Park Hill School District confirming only that there was a “discipline incident” at Park Hill South High School last week and several school officials releasing statements that allude to racism. “We are outraged, hurt, and saddened that this occurred,” Park Hill South Principal Kerrie Herren said in a statement to students. “This is not who we want to be at Park Hill South. Our differences make us stronger. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment.”

Parents also were reportedly told via email of “unacceptable and racist statements that some students posted online during a school-related activity.” The principal of another high school within the district is said to have confirmed to parents at a Monday meeting that the incident in question was a racist petition. It was not immediately clear how many students were involved in the incident, and what “school-related activity” prompted it. The district says it has set up listening sessions to hear from students and parents affected by the petition.

'Stay in your hood': White 'Karen' fired after allegedly assaulting Black couple at Brooklyn dog park

A white woman reportedly has been fired from her job after she allegedly assaulted a Black couple at a Brooklyn dog park over the weekend.

A portion of the incident, which occurred Saturday night in the Williamsburg neighborhood, was caught on video by the alleged victim, author Frederick Joseph.

"At the dog park in Brooklyn with my fiancé and this white woman was threatening to call police and told us to 'stay in our hood' because she had our dog confused with another dog who had been barking loudly," Joseph wrote above the video on Twitter. "So, I started recording and she tried to slap the phone out my hand."

The video shows the woman giving Joseph the middle finger and swiping at his phone.

"Stay in our hood? You just told us to leave the dog park and stay in our hood?" Joseph asks the woman in the video.

"Oh my God, did you just say that to me?" the woman responds, appearing to sarcastically deny Joseph's allegation after he started filming.

Joseph then turned the camera to a white bystander who apparently witnessed the altercation.

"You were right here and watched this entire thing. Did she just not stand here and tell us to stay in our hood?" Joseph asked.

"She did," the witness responded.

After the woman was identified as Emma Sarley, Joseph tagged her employer, Bevy, a community events software platform, as well as CEO Derek Andersen.

"Hey (Derek Andersen) I see that (Bevy) is attempting to be better about race, equity, etc.," Joseph wrote on Twitter. "Thought you should see this (video). I'm hoping Black colleagues and peers don't have to face this sort of racism from Emma."

Andersen later wrote: "Spoke with (Frederick Joseph) about his and his fiancé's horrific experience from last night. So sorry to them for what has happened. No one should treat people the way we witnessed. This is extremely troubling. I will update you shortly."

"(Bevy) has zero tolerance for discriminatory behavior of any kind," Andersen added later. "Yesterday an employee engaged in behavior contrary to our values and has been terminated. We apologize deeply to all involved. I personally hope some type of resolution can happen between the two parties beyond this and will help if I can."

Joseph later posted a video reacting to the news that Sarley had been fired.

"While it's unfortunate that she had to lose her job, I do think this brings up an important conversation about accountability, especially in a country where black and brown people, marginalized people as a whole, have seen so little of it oftentimes," Joseph said in the video. "Having to bear the burden of racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. — I think that it's important for people to know that there are consequences for their actions. and I don't think it's up to victims to have to coddle people who are engaging in abuse."

"I hope Emma learns from this," he added. "I hope that other people learn from this who engage in abusive, racist and destructive behavior, because ultimately, whether Emma lost her job or not, it doesn't take away the trauma that my fiancee and I have. It doesn't take away the feeling of feeling like anything racist can happen anywhere, so I don't think people should be coddled, and I do think that consequences are important, so hopefully this is a learning lesson for everybody."

And blaming the victim? There is nothing short of them physically attacking him that would justify any action such as described.

Once I had a friend who was a restaurant owner. Sometimes he who would rent his restaurant to a group for a party. Once he told me in private that he had problems with blacks that he did not have with other groups, even Hispanics. The blacks were rude to his wait staff. They tipped little or nothing. They pilfered plates and eating utensils. Once a fight broke out, damaging furniture. He had to call the police. He told me that if the law did not require him to rent to blacks he would not. In this case the victims were not the blacks, because the restaurant owner was required to serve them. The victim was the restaurateur.

One of my sisters worked for a summer as a waitress. She told me the same kinds of stories about black customers.

One of my friends in high school taught for several years in a black majority public school in East St. Louis, Illinois. He told me that most of the blacks in his classes were stupid, disruptive, and that some were dangerous. Once a student was playing loud rap music on a portable cassette player. My friend told him to turn if off. The student said, "**** you white man. You ain't ****." The class laughed. Once his car was vandalized. I have talked to others who taught at or who attended black majority public schools. They have the same kinds of stories.

In the city where I live I read of a black majority public school where whites were beaten up when the used the rest rooms. When they complained to the black principal he suggested that they use the rest room in the nurse's office. Blacks who attend black majority public schools are not the victims. Whites who try to teach and whites who try to learn at those schools very frequently are.

In high school my friend did not hate blacks. Now he does.

The characteristics I like in people are characteristics I have found among individuals in each of the races. However, I have not found them in equal proportion.

 

I am old enough to remember when liberals prided themselves in being "First Amendment Absolutists." Now it turns out that they are only in favor of protecting obscenity, blasphemy, and desecration of the American flag.

For the record, I think the slave trade and slavery were the worst mistakes European settlers in the Americas made. Slavery benefited the few whites who could afford to own slaves at the expense of everyone else. Family farms could not compete with plantations. Every skilled trade and every profession paid less in slave states than in free states. The South has always been the economic backwater of the United States. The industrial revolution happened in the North. The computer revolution is happening on the west coast.

 

None of this has any bearing on the woman and her child being attacked. And still, there is nothing reported that would justify this man's actions, and all you are doing is offering an opinion that basically assumes things not in evidence.

I don't care about your "friends", their experience has nothing to do with this.

 

Whites are more likely too be attacked by blacks, than the other way around.

 

Dude, you are making a lot of assumptions. And this is why basing your racism on science is faulty. Applying the same standards to everyone of the same race is wrong.

But I'm sure that you think Neil DeGrasse Tyson is a gangster out to kill you.
